Tabitha St. Germain & Cathy Weseluck don't have anyone in the industry that sound like them. They are a little like Rob Paulsen in that respect.

When it comes down to it, all of them may have voices that are general and can be replicated in the VA world ... But it's the acting part that would be irreplaceable there.

Tabitha especially. Isolate her scenes and close you eyes and listen. What does it remind you of, and who?

Have you tried CA Area Brony groups on Facebook? There are several conventions that have just happened that are in MN and NY and you may also want to circulate the flyer through them.

Ok, if this sort of creativity continues from Zecora's fanbase, I may actually consider switching my vote. Good show Rainbow Hash and Kel Grym.

You have a concern with pacing. Pacing can be controlled through dialog -- though some pantsers tend to run into issues frequently with that. Did any of reviewer mention scene length, or the lack of/over reliance on dialog? Do you plot or do story beats ahead of time, or hit the keys and go?

If you want PM me and link me. I'll take a look and let you know what I think. If you have MS word I can even do a structural edit with Track Changes so you can see first hand what to look for when you are drafting.

Also, how you write will change as you continue to find your voice. Listen to the reviews, and try to adapt.

I'll try and find some other music in the languages that you are all fans of. I have a playlist of foreign music in dozens of languages, and sometimes I'll have it play softly at night while I sleep.

I have to be careful though, I keep meaning to remove a Hiss track (German) since it definitely doesn't fit the concept of sleeping well ... rock polka is fun ... but doesn't lend well to getting your 'zzzzz's.

What social conventions and misses are being used as the barometer for maturity? Are we talking about drama? Like Ben Affleck as Batman drama? Like rage quitting a fandom because N-Sync is rumored to be in you favorite franchise?

I have to admit that when I read this my gut reaction was to disagree. Not everyone has access to mental healthcare. Not everyone feels that they need professional help who would obviously benefit from it. Not everyone has a stable personal life. Then I thought about it ... and came to the decision that the staff is making the best possible decision available to them and within their power.

Someone without professional training may do some good, such as a friend, but the potential for the reverse is more likely. This isn't a site of mental health professionals (nor is it findlaw.com for those who tried to discuss liability earlier on). It is a site based around an entertainment property and build by an for the fans of that property. This is an escape and way to relax for a few here. I get that completely.

The majority of the people here appear to have honest empathy toward each other, more so than other boards I have seen. It makes sense that someone who is struggling would feel that this is a path to talk to someone. That is what makes this such a difficult issue. If a newbie like me feels this conflicted at first, I can't imagine what the discussion was like with the mlpf team.

Tough call, but I understand why it had to be made.
