look at the drawing from across the room. Often when people look at art they aren't extremely close like when you're drawing it. If you're too close the flaws that barely make a difference will bug you. This is why artists usually hate their work even though it rarely deserves to be hated.

It's a small piece, I can't see it from across the room.

you don't have to be too far. Just like a bit away from it so you can't see it in 100% perfect detail.

You know, like something you make out of home materials. Like origami or homemade jewelry.

They were fine, it was the teeth next to them that had issues, they got chipped because some one hit me in the face with a bag of rock salt.
