Also protesting in the street is something common if protesting no matter where in time you look at it. Shut it down and maybe people will listen.

Have you ever been surrounded by an angry mob that can have every intention of trying to kill or hurt and maim you? You should not get stuck in these kind of situations, if you need to move from point A to point B, then do so. If you get stuck in a hostile crowd, the only thing you can do is to get out of that situation by driving forward. Fucking hell, the SUV did not even drive that fast, but continued very slowly, knocking idiots and assholes over. We already have 8 people dead since these riots started, one of them being a policeman minding his own business as he was protecting a courthouse, why should they possibly become another death on that list? 

What is common is not something that may be allowed, especially when you have not requested the permission to do so from the authorities. Shutting down traffic without a warrant is illegal. Even more so when you are blocking the authorities. 

I don’t see why you’re bringing up all that other stuff when I never brought up any of that.

That was a dangerous move for the cop to make. A smart cop would’ve backed up and found another way around. Driving into the crowd will only insight violence or hurt someone and does not change what you just said that they should be killed for being in the way of traffic. 

Authorities have been hurting/killing black people, other poc, and etc. disenfranchised people for a long time but that apparently doesn’t matter to you and only the legality of protesting in the street does. Instead of the right to life. Fuck crooked as cops and the system that allows for it to happen.
