If Fluttershy kissed me on the cheek, I would take it as an act of kindness. However if she kissed me on the lips I would probably faint since I wouldn't expect Fluttershy to do this to anyone. -
^ If that is the case, I guess any unicorn or supernatural creature could use the Element of Magic. The other elements are based on sincere feelings, while Magic is more like a form of energy like Heat, Electricity or Light. In Equestria Girls, Sunset Shimmer once used the Element of Magic crown to become a demon, so there is a possibility.

I do not think Spike will play a major role in the sequel. I think he will be there to give us a few laughs. Maybe Spike will take a role as the mascot to the Sonic-Rainbooms.
