      yes as long as its one of the models that has the color screen. The e-Ink (B&W ones) wont work. Just need a usb cable to transfer from your PC to the kindle. As a tech nerd I would say depending on your budget get a Galaxy Tab or other Android tablet over the kindle. More features and you can still load the kindle app if you want to buy books from amazon. I only have a kindle cause I won it at a science conference.

    Not sure if I should be happy when the PhD comes to me (B.Sc) because they can't figure our how to make their experiment work. It means they think I can fix the problem, but they also get paid 2x what I do.. Maybe I'll start charging a consultation fee :)
