Hikari looked at both Zeke and Misha and slowly backed up a few steps in case things got ugly. She kept quiet and decides to watch this play out. 'I hope no one gets hurt..' She thought to herself as she takes out her phone and browses the net for a place to rent or a hotel to stay. 'There should be somewhere we could rent in such a large city..' She told herself, scrolling through pages and checking the price and size of each apartment.

Hikari decided to share a slice of her story with the group. "My name is Hikari Suzuki, but you guys can call me Suzuki since Hikari is my first name and I wouldn't feel comfortable if you called me by my first name since we're not all that close, at least not right now." She explained before continuing with her little introduction. "I live alone in a mansion not far away from here, and it's nice and quiet. My parents were nice people, but I don't really live with them since they weren't really fond of my powers. Discovering my esper powers have changed my life drastically for the better though. I made a lot of new friends who are espers as well and everyone was treated equally." She finished.

Hikari pocketed the money and thanked Misha for his generosity. "I really appreciate it, Misha. I'll make sure I pick a fancy hotel for all of us to stay." She said before she looked over at Lily and pondered if she's just another criminal. "What's with all this bank-robbing business you're talking about?" Hikari questioned Lily.

"Well, there's a lot of hotels located nearby but I don't think I can afford it. If someone here is willing to dish out some of their money for a hotel to stay at, that would be nice." She replied Zeke before she commented on what he said. "And Mercury isn't crazy, he's just a bit creepy at times, that's all. He's a nice person if you get to know him."

"The reason why I decided to do my research under a warehouse located within Novarius is because people are after me, but the security here is pretty tough around here, so I can work in peace." Mercury stated as he continued. "My research isn't something I wish to share with others." He replied Lily before he turned around and said "Enjoy your stay." as he walked back into his room, shutting the doors behind him. Hikari looked at the others and said "Lets get out of here before he locks us in here and uses us as test subjects.." before running up the stairs and back to the entrance of the trapdoor.

A huge set of doors ahead of them started to open slowly as a semi-tall man that was around his 40's revealed himself. He was wearing a white lab coat with a few stains of blood that looked pretty fresh from the looks of it. "I don't suppose you guys are here to arrest me, are you?" Mercury said with a calm voice before she noticed Hikari standing within the crowd. "What brings you to my lab, Hikari?" He asked. Hikari decided to jump straight to the point and said "Would you mind if we used the warehouse above your lab as a place for my friends to stay?" Mercury stood there, examining every single one of them before he replied.. "If you can promise me that you won't bring me any trouble, I'm fine with it."

Hikari heard footsteps behind her before Zeke said anything, but when he said something about burning the card scanning device outside, she was a bit shocked. "Y-You what? Couldn't you have knocked or just called us?!" She took a deep breath and sighed. "Forget it, it's fine.." She said before she noticed Lily and Sayaa behind her walking into the warehouse. "Now that everyone is here, lets get going!" She said before she shuffled down the stairs which led to a huge chemical-filled lab room with refrigerators that stored all sorts of things like organs and a few doors around which led to different rooms. "He should be around here somewhere.." Hikari said as she looked around.

"Not exactly. He's a scientist and he can be quite.. Scary." She commented as she continued. "He also happens to be a level 5 esper but he tends to avoid using his powers and only for good, so don't worry." Hikari finished before she pushed the door open and entered. In front of them was a huge area filled with boxes that stacked high up. "Don't worry, this is just a decoy." She said before she went over to a hidden entrance that was hidden below one of the crates. Hikari pushed it away and unlocked the trapdoor which led to a flight of stairs down. "Pretty cool eh?"

She wasn't sure if her friend is inside, since he comes to his warehouse to work on some of his questionable projects. "If there's gonna be anyone in it, it's gonna be someone called Mercury, or at least that's what he calls himself.." She replied before she got out of her car and slammed the door shut before locking the door. "Let's see if he's here." She said before she took out a card and swiped it at a card reader which beeped as the door opened.

Hikari got back into her car with a bag of snacks and refreshments and continued her journey towards Novarius. She decided to drive a bit faster than usual so she could get to the safehouse before Misha decides to wander in by himself. 'I hope he's in a good mood.' She thought to herself about her friend who owned the warehouse. Hikari arrived and drove up to Misha's car which was parked right outside. "Hey!" She shouted over at Misha in her car.

Hikari wasn't sure if she should tell everyone about what was inside the warehouse since she remembered that there were things that aren't really allowed. She wasn't even sure if she's even allowed to use it for the time being. It wasnt exactly hers. the place belonged to a close friend and she hopes that he won't mind. "Well, it's just a semi-large warehouse for storage." She replied Misha briefly on the phone.

Hikari noticed that Misha joined the little group chat of hers, so she picked up her phone and texted "You got the address right?" She was still an hour away from Novarius since she was driving a bit slow. Hikari was a bit tired from all the fighting from the cave so she decided to take a rest near a small town near the outskirts of Novarius called Starfield. She drove her car up near a convenience store, got out, locked the door and headed inside to buy some snacks and refreshments.

It was starting to get really dark as the sun disappeared off in the distance. Hikari realized that it has around three hours since she left Lightlyn Mountains when she approached Novarius. "I guess I should text the others about where this safehouse will be located at." She mumbled to herself as she grabbed her phone and created a chatroom for the gang to communicate with each other. Hikari sent invitations to all of them and posted 'Let's rendezvous at the safehouse located within Novarius.' and below that was an address which was located near the center of the city.

I have a feeling that Minimum is going to become the next biggest thing as it sits right next to games like Team Fortress in the years to come..

Hikari lands on the ground near her car, taking out her keys as she approached the door and got in. She revved up the engine and drove off towards Novarius, a heavily guarded city with enough firepower to take down even the best espers and magicians. "As long as we don't cause any trouble, it's one of the safest places to stay in." She told herself as she headed towards the city.

Hikari wasn't going to leave her car sitting next to this mountain since its one of her favorite cars from her collection of cars in her garage. It was an Aston Martin DB9 with a dark silver paint job. "Send me a text message of the location and I'll be there as soon as possible." Hikari told Misha as she handed him a piece of paper with her phone number before she shot herself up into the skies and started flying towards the location where she left her car.

Hikari wasn't planning on hunting them down, but if they were to come back for revenge, she will not be showing them any mercy. "Chasing them down just isn't worth it. Lets just get out of here before anyone else decides to explore these caves." She said as she admired the scenery as the sun started to set, covering the area with bright orange.

Hikari overheard the conversation about needing a place to stay and whether or not everyone was still in. "I don't mind tagging along, as long as no one decides to betray one another, I'm fine." She said as she continued. "I've got a place we can stay in that's a few hours away from where we are if we go by car." Hikari finished.
