Well that's very sad, but is it possible that maybe a fan film adaptation could be made and could get permission from Hasbro like Double Rainboom did.

That would be amazing! I wonder how that would work though, I mean a whole movie is pretty different that a student produced short episode.

Thank you! I'm actually feeling more committed to drawing that I have in a long time!

The version in the pictures will most likely never be painted. As I've said before that is the Master version of the figure. From that figure I will create silicone molds so I can create multiple resin copies of Luna. Those resin copies will be painted . I'll most likely also have some garage kits available for those who want to customize and assemble the figure themselves. I'll also be using a large part of Luna's body for Cadence so painting it like Luna would be pointless.

 

More on that when i finally get all the pieces and getting ready for casting

Oh, sorry I should have seen that in your post. I'm sure resin parts might end up being better than the 3d print plastic.

Even though i am still waiting for the rest of the pieces I finally got around to buying the materials to start preparing them. i did a quick dry fit of the head neck and chest. and i've already found a problem i will need to print a new part for.

 

in anycase even though the neck joint is not strong enoegh i think she turned out pretty great.

 

what do you think?

Yah,  you get to practice ur art and skills and such and help other souls who

well can't bring their inner view to life  a bit! Also you could offer to do art

trades for say graphics/drawings you might want! 

I think I might try that, at least later, but that sounds like a great way to get motivation and try things you otherwise wouldn't!

I'm glad you like the shading, I actually added it real quick before I went to bed so it's a little imperfect, but I'm learning that imperfection in a drawing doesn't exactly make it bad, if fact it seems to be a hinderance when you are too much of a perfectionist. Did you mean doing drawing requests for people? That would be interesting!

hehe, thanks! I would be able to draw much better if drawing was something I actually took seriously over the past years. I just really had been neglecting drawing, I would draw a little now and then, but it wasn't something that really stuck. Recently though I've been much more interested in it, yay for ponies!

Between -3 and 120?

The reprinted pieces went missing again. So i'll have to change a few things around like submit each piece individually.andnthennwait another 2 weeks. Sigh... Appearantly the model should have been rejected from the get go.

 

I hope to be able to finish the prototype before Christmas but thats looking more and more unlikely

Hmm, stress, yes.... Large part of reality stress me out, as do parts of being a normal functioning human, like talking to people and being under pressure.

I'm generally lucky enough to not get sick more than 1 or 2 times a year, and recover fairly fast, but when I am sick I usually sit there dwelling on how I feel bad making it all that much worse. It's a great solution!
