err, a lot of those youtube videos are made by morons....
It's these two images that made me think that it's not all rubbish. Notice how the styling of the symbols does not fit the visual style of the show, and how the eye does not even look like it's at the right angle to be on the side of that tent, like someone just slapped them on carelessly? For all the other points I've seen it could just be being read into, but these two are the things that made me not dismiss it.

Edit: This used to be it's own topic, so it's worded as such
Has everypony else noticed the odd symbolism that is seeming inserted into the show at times? What got me thinking about it is the episode where Rarity makes that headdress with the giant eye symbol on it. I also saw somepony here talking about how Celestia having one eye showing all the time seemed like illuminati symbolism. Eventually I did superficial google search and saw screenshots of the bohemian grove owl, and the eye of providence in FiM! You can see both of those on a US $1 bills btw, I've known about that for quite a while though.
I'm not sure what to think about it, these symbols seem to be fairly widespread in media, and IMO US currency is much more intense than FiM with this stuff Usually when people talk about this symbolism in FiM they seem to either act like paranoid morons, totally disregard it, or get sarcastic about it. I just want to talk about what is there, why it would be there, and what, if any, meaning there is behind it.
It could be that they're there the same way there are in so many other places, though I don't think anyone knows why. I could be some sort of easter egg from the animators, like grumpy cat and slenderpony (that's a creepy one). Regardless it's really quite odd as they really don't belong there and don't seem like easter eggs to me.
What are your thoughts on the subject?
Also please please please no flamewars about religion, that would ruin any meaningful discussion and possibly get the thread locked... In addition to making this subject seem even more paranoid and fanatical.
...My topics are getting weirder and weirder...

I like the thoughts you two have about this subject! Nice to see people talking about it in a way that makes sense and is interesting!
I would write a bit more if I wasn't losing my writing ability from being up so late
@@Unikitty What is you avatar? Is it a photo of a paper cat with a horn? I must know more!

Just thought I had. I've read about how some people think magic is a good explanation for how earth ponies and pegasi can hold objects with their hooves. I thought it was the best explanation, cartoon logic aside. I think that the fact Tirek could seal magic from earth ponies and pegasi obviously shows they are magical creatures too, and that it makes sense that they, can, in fact hold things with magic
Whatchya think?

Is your name neko like the Japanese word for cat?

I don't really think about my future because it only stresses me out and depresses me. and I don't have many dreams because I always fail achieving them but I think my dream is to have people who care about me around me
You have a full lifetime to pursue your dreams, don't be discouraged by slow progress!

Looks like you have quite the pile up of people wanting your vectors!
Anyway, I'm hoping you could add my oc to the list.....Her name is Vanilla Pie, Here two pictures of her, both have odd proportions and I haven't worked out her appearance all the way yet. Out of the two the first is the best representation of her, but the second shows an alternate hairstyle. I could also give you a color palette, I think I have one or two, but I'm sure the first image has all the information of the colors you need.

IMO selfies are about 75% of the time stupid and meaningless, I think self portraits are okay though.

hmm..... that could be "A Story About my Uncle", it's an odd title, but it's about a boy who searches his uncle into an alternate universe. The main mechanic of the game is this laser grappling device you use for getting around. It's pretty cool.

I blame @Kenny for this....he was wondering about right/left handed dominance, which got me thinking about other parts of us that have a dominance/preference...
Although there are people who can be both ambidextrous in their hands and feet, no one can physically be dominant with both eyes. Why is that? Because each hemisphere of the brain controls half of the retina of each eye, even though both hemispheres control both eyes. There are similar statistics for right/left eye dominance as there are for handedness. However, being right handed does not necessarily mean you are right eyed dominant.
I am right handed, but LEFT eye dominant. Believe it or not, this has created a lot of problems for me. I have to use a left handed bow, in order to aim properly with my eye, same goes for a gun. However, for instrument playing, writing, and all motions in which aiming and other fine ocular skills aren't needed, I do everything right handed. It was hard adjusting to left handed shooting, and even in some blacksmithing situations, I need to hammer left handed, which has taken a lot of practise and hard work to do right.
If you do not know your eye dominance, here's a handy little test to help you figure it out:
hehe, I'm also right handed and left eyed, and do archery! I seem to do okay with a right handed bow though. I just either close my left eye, or more recently I've been just keeping both eyes open and trying to stay aware of which eye I am seeing the arrow tip with with; Doing that seems to work well for me. When I'm taking photographs I always use my left eye for the viewfinder though.

Do you draw a lot? What are your favorite art forms?
I don't play video games often but maybe NHL 05
You could try "My Little Investigations", Minetest or even Portal!

It's a bit of a strange art form because the software is creating the image and you down exactly have direct control of the outcome, but it's not an automated process. You still are the one creating the fractal, just through an odd interface of triangles and flame modifier variables. But it's still a very random process though, unless you are very good with flames, even then I think it's likely to be pretty random.Wow that is "unique" never seen such a piece of art

I know that Photoshop isn't the best program for vectoring, but it's the program I've pretty much used for everything and I'm most comfortable with using it right now. I may try some other programs eventually though.
I know how that goes, I find PS so much easier to use than Illustrator. I also find Inkscape a little more easy to use than Illustrator, though the program itself is a bit clunky. The cool thing about using something like Photoshop is you could combine vector art and digital painting or photomanipulation pretty easily, well at least in theory.
-
Wow, that is really nice! It's very well done and I think it's definitely on the side of being a more seamless photomanip. Getting the light all lined up correctly with a side/back light situation I imagine was a challenge. I really like the concept and if you think you can make an even more polished version then go for it!

Just a random flame fractal from my library I re-rendered recently.

Wow, that look really good! And for it being a first time with vector art too! I like how the expression is kind of a mix of a fluttershy and RD expression. You might want to try a program more geared towards vector art, such as illustrator or inkscape/ponyscape, because the vector stuff in PS is more of an addon thing and I've heard is better to use a proper vector program for vector art. That said, it probably doesn't really matter because it looks so perfect the way you are doing it.

Symbolism in MLP:FIM and hidden knowledge

I think perhaps people here are a bit too used to people making weird arguments against FiM, I'm not trying to put it down at all. I love MLP and it just make me a little sad to see something that doesn't really belong there injected into it. I'm not afraid of occult references, I actually find them rather interesting, I just don't think they belong in FiM, that's all.
