Toru Minegishi and the rest of the sound team (whose names I can't remember from the credit sequence and am terribly sorry for this) did a fantastic work on the game's soundtrack. So, I finished the single player mode of Splatoon yesterday, and as I was fighting the final boss, I knew I had to cover this song. A couple hours later, (and about half the next day's worth if you want to count sleeping [i finished the song at 1 AM, so yeah] and making & uploading the video), it was finished. This song was very fun, about as much as it was listening to the original while playing. Please, tell me what you think, and enjoy! Also, Soundcloud link for those who want it:

Well, upon thinking of this for a few minutes, I'm not really sure. I was gonna make up a hypothetical situation involving spiders in your car/truck/'95 Pimpmobile/van/whatever that are loyal to the Soviet Republic (or any faction of your choosing) deciding to claim you as their first victim in taking their quest to take over the United States, and after being spider-bitten, finding out you really have to pee. And you have a distinct craving for chocolate. Maybe you're driving in a convertible and it's also storming very badly? Iunno, I feel like I could go on with this. That may be just a tad unrealistic, though. I'm alright. I'll be even better once everyone in the whole world gets chocolate forever. I'm just wondering how we'll get the chocolate. Will it appear under our pillows? In hidden spots in our houses or in the world? Will it appear as rain? It makes me wonder...

I've made my transition from kid to squid, as well. I'm still playing M&L:Partners in Time, though. Probably not gonna stop playing it until I finish it, as I'm near the end of the game. Even then, I'll probably pop Splatoon in my Wii U every now and again. Then again, I said the same with Smash Wii U...
