  1. I must rest a bit longer... My soul is weary. Please, Link... Play me your song of healing...

  2. I'm back. I have changed.

  3. This account is currently dormant. I have to... get over more trama...

  4. Hey, would you mind if I enter in this? I'm looking for a nice place to roleplay and work out loose ends in my OC.
  5. Ok, I chose Alicorn, because I couldn't decide from the main 3 options, and I'm not saying Alicorn OCs are "Mary Sue" ponies, I'm simply refering to the OC named Mary Sue. Also, another reason I chose an Alicorn is because I wanted my OC to be particularly special, because I think of myself as a bit more than different from other people. I would have simply made it an earth pony, but remember, later in Starshine's story her wings and horn are restored. And yes, my OC comes across many obstacles, and the biggest one she came across so far, she wasn't powerful enough to overcome, so she had to have nearly half the town help her. I made a post on it on the welcoming forums, and you can read it right now, if you don't mind long stories.
  6. Stormy Night, a purple pony Starshine met along the way to Canterlot. Was it Canterlot? I don't remember. Anyways, go check her out she's a great story teller, and the reason I came to the forums!
  7. I've heard many people say "Alicorn OCs commonly turn out terrible" and sometimes... I wonder if mine is terrible like the silly old Mary Sue alicorn, and her name describes her personality. She has no backstory at all, and she's all perfect in every way, so she says. My OC has a who, what, where, why, and how to her, but I'm still rather dubious about how good the quality of her creation is. I'll put out a general idea of the WWWWH here. Who is she?: A strange alicorn with a strange backstory. What is her passion/purpose?: She loves playing video games and drawing things, and she doesn't know what she was put here to do, and like the other ponies, she plays her part. Whether it is really important or not, she doesn't know either. Where does she come from?: She comes from King's Island, an moderate size island East from the entire Equestria map. This island was rumored to once have Princess Celestia and Princess Luna's parents living on it. Why was she created?: When I started to take a liking to My Little Pony, I wanted to make a pony that had a personality like mine, and I couldn't decide on an Earth pony, Pegasus, or Unicorn. So I decided to make her an Alicorn, but add something that wouldn't cause people to treat her like any other princess, or average pony, which is that her horn and wings were torn off, and are not usable. How did she come to be who she is now?: Well, she wasn't born from anypony anypony knows about, but she, nor anypony else knows that she is actually Celestia and Luna's mother. Eventually, this is revealed the night of the Demon's coming, and everypony's minds have to be modified, but Twilight, Celestia and Luna all remember exactly what happened. So, does my alicorn OC suck? Please tell me your opinion, I really want to know. Edit: I have a new OC... ask me about it, if you want to. Further replies on the previous OC will be ignored.
  8. Really? Some people call her Sunny, just so you know.
  9. Do you have any knowledge, relation, or friendship with a grey pony with yellow hair, an uneven gaze and a bubble cutie mark?
  10. Princess Celestia, have you ever dressed up in a banana suit and walked around the castle yelling "I'm a banana"? If you haven't, would you do it, please? :3
  11. I'm Starshine, an alicorn from King's Island. I traveled far and wide to get to the place I am now, and I'm happy I came. Ask me a question, and I'll answer.
  12. Ok, if you came to see my drawings, back out now. My drawings stay in a sketchbook. To be real honest here, before I met a special friend of mine, my drawings sucked. And by sucked, I mean sometimes you wouldn't have any idea what it was. I commonly enjoyed drawing people, a lot like myself today, but one problem was that I didn't have a realistic goal, so every time I drew something, I would always scoff or frown at it and say something like "This is not how I wanted it to look." Then I met... well I guess it would more be watched a person from afar, and that person happened to be an Otaku, and her drawings of people were what I wanted to make them like. I had tried drawing manga before, but like most everything else I drew, I would scoff or frown and comment on it not meeting my expectations, like always. But I looked at her drawings and drew, and continued to draw getting better by the year. Soon I had to say goodbye to her, but I still continued to draw. Soon, I became more and more satisfied with how each drawing turned out, and I began adding new things to my drawing style, making it more and more pleasurable to look at. But the drawing skills was not the only thing I picked up. I began to learn Japanese words and phrases by watching animes with English subtitles, as well as becoming a fan of Vocaloids, and soon the Black Butler. I changed a lot because of this person. If I were to meet her again, I would tell her "Because of you, I learned to draw this" and hold out some drawing I made. I have actually drawn probably over 400 drawings, maybe even more. Now, if you say to people or yourself "I can't draw" I'm pretty sure you can. If you can write your name, or simply make marks in the dirt, you can draw. Maybe you're not satisfied with your drawings, or you scoff or frown at them every time you draw something it's just that you need practice, that's all. You don't have to learn how to draw, unless it's your passion, or you need to do it to meet a requirement for a mandatory thing. Now how good are my drawings? Well I can't tell you that, because I can't describe quality very well in words. The only things I can say about them, is drawing eyes well is no problem, nor is body shape, hair, nose, mouth, or chin shape. I am mostly skilled at drawing hands and fingers, but feet are difficult. I am completely honest with my drawings, and I have to say, I get a lot of appreciation for it. That's all I have for now. Cheers!
  13. @Royce I'm not sure, that's why I said "More or less" But otherwise, I'm fine.
