Today in chemistry class I literally had to watch and measure water, glycerin, propanol, and menthol dry.

Please keep my girlfriend in your thoughts and prayers. She was admitted to the hospital last night when she completely lost sight. Apparently there was swelling behind her eyes, and this morning she went into surgery to drain fluid from her spinal cord. I've been there most of the day, and it seems like she'll be better, but thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Today I had a great honor that many don't get the same chance at. My small town school band in the middle of corn country was selected to play the national anthem at our states Major League Baseball game today for a crowd of 14,252 people. It was so nerve wracking to play a song that can for many people remind them of a loved one who didn't come back, and instills a great sense of pride and emotion for so many people. So my mother just yelled at me because while I was on a long walk into town I decided to get an iced coffee with my own money. Meanwhile, my brother is drinking a Monster that he bought with her money, and she is drinking my favorite tea that I bought for myself only. I don't even understand it.
