    I'd rather we had a name that doesn't make it sound like we're all males, just because it would make sense, but it really doesn't matter honestly. Yes, I know that brony is bro+pony, but whatever. I call female fans of the show bronies too. I don't see the point in trying to separate male and female fans into two separate categories, and brony both sounds good and is what we're already known for, so just fuck it. Male, female, we're all bronies.

    There's a difference between having a character who's mentally retarded with a name that implies mental retardation, and making fun of mentally retarded people for being retarded. Derpy was, of course, the former. So changing her name was ridiculous. You can't even say you were offended by it, as it wasn't even making fun of retards, for crying out loud. Le sigh.

    It's been almost 3 years and I still have yet to inform anyone that I like this show, besides one friend I had in my old city. I think he brought it up once and I casually said I had watched every episode, then next time I saw him he said he had started watching and enjoyed it, however talking to him about it was extremely awkward. I think there was still doubt on both ends that either one of us actually enjoyed it and wasn't just pretending, so there was extreme reluctance to talk about or watch the show together. Oh well.

    Yes well, just make sure yall are only blocking people who are actually being harassers/disruptive/etc. Don't just block someone simply for dislking bronies.
