It's been my opinion that men tend to sexualize their musculature more than their genitalia. And that's something one can show off anytime. Genitalia does it less for me. I will take this moment to indicate that I am male.

I think its also in part that men don't sexualize themselves in their own minds. They are less likely to do it to show off and therefore can do it more casually. @@stripper, Is it appropriate to find your username slightly amusing in this thread?

Funny thing, Live so close to the US-Canadian border that Washingtonians around here are indistinguishable from B.C. canadians, and vice versa. So l live in america but still use "aboot" "soory" and the like

To an outsider much of my speech seems to be garbled weirdness. For example: Sometimes when I am impressed I'll say: "Dim sum!"(that's a long 'dim') as in "damn son!". I forget how I got to that. Sometimes I'll announce that I'm "Shaking a tower", a simple reversal of "taking a shower". "It's all good" turns into "issall goodman" with the "man" pronounced "mun". Sometimes while confused I perform skat: "skebedoppop!". When I leave home I'll tell my brother "Imma Spaghet", not "I'm leaving". I can't even list all of them because them all because I use them so often it's become natural.

I am in the fandom for much the same reasons as anyone else: The wonderful fandom. I really enjoy the fan fiction, animation, art, and music. I think that the MLP fandom has some of the most talented creators and the best range of fan content. No fandom ever struck me the same way. The show is also a major reason why I'm in the fandom. I enjoy the universe and feelings I get from it. Not much more could be said there. I would say that there is a great deal of overlap between bronies and anime fans. I myself am not one, but I know several friends who are both. As for myself? I'd say it's been an entertaining aspect of my life. Online I get to participate in funny discussions with people over memes, at cons I always feel accepted (I've heard that other conventions don't always feel that way), Between me and my classmates it's always been a subject of curiosity. People bring it up and I tell them or crack jokes about it. People tease me, but it's always in good-natured way that often has me joining in.
