  1. "There was a race for drinks at the bar here. I ran into a spot of bother," she mumbles, "If I don't get food soon, I'll pro'lly pass out. So, Croc Dunders, care to help a lady to the table?" The obvious amounts of sarcasm spawned from the irritation in the name calling. "Also, I'm sure we'll get a call from AREA for misuse of equipment."
  2. "You might," she groans, looking at him, "We met earlier. However, I have no idea what your memory's like. Sam?" She leans against the wall, looking pretty tired despite it being the dead middle of night. To much magic use, gotta get some food and keep it down "You say something about food? I'm all for it."
  3. Sam collects magic in her hands, balling it, before tossing its blue-silver sheen into the floor. Instantly a circle of symbols and geometric figure swirled at her feet. Faster and faster they swirled, as she tried to keep the image of the casino in mind. In an instant, she was gone. Suddenly, she appeared right in front of the Casino- -'s side alley, where there was currently a shakedown in progress. Which was interrupted by a bright blue flash and a young adult appearing to have caused said flash. And three now-angry beaters laying down their previous payday. Damn it. I knew this would be the worst idea. And- f#$%- this isn't even the right casino! She took another look at the thugs in the alley, who were advancing on her. Then she looked at the man they had been beating. His was broken, battered. Not well-off, and not native. She felt a familiar rage boiling within her blood: Injustice, unfair, bully-like violence. Her eyes began to streak off her magic, glowing the solid silvery-blue in a menacing, demon-like fashion. The thugs began second-guessing their advance, now backing away and muttering things like 'witch' and 'sorcery'. Long has the power of the moon been shunned. Long has it lurked in the shadows. At these thoughts, the dark alleyway's shdows began to bend, hiding the broken man from sight while teasingly bending away from the thugs that would hide. And long have these shadows gathered, hiding secrets, tears, and love. But they would not hide from the moon. Lances of silvered moonlight fall around the would-be attackers, bending and shapping into a cage that solidifies. Pure, solid silver, though much, much stronger than what silver should be. A door and lock forms in towards the street-side for the casino, a key glimmering just out of reach. The shadows returned to normal as she approached the cage, "You are under arrest for assault and attempted assault of a United States federal officer. Anything you say or do can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attourney and a fair, speedy public trial." From her robes, she pulls a small, metallic ball and pushes a button. The ball begins glowing, a beacon that would send a signal back to the Area base. She doubted they'd enjoy this chore-like routine or use of equipment. And she expected a good scolding for 'power misuse'. She found it rather hard to care as she burned a silvery illusion into the side of a wall, listing the charges and complete Miranda rights into the side of a wall. The beacon also doubled as a listening device, so anything they said would be used against them. She went to the man the thugs had been beating on and sighed. His face was badly deformed, lips cut. Probable broken nose, possible skull fracture. She shot Masun a text, the number of which she had to look up from the staff directory. Got way-laid in a back alley. Gunna be late. Pick cheap drinks, I don't get to keep the money I make. That completed, she knelt beside the near-unconscious man and gently laid a hand across his head. "This is going to feel really cold. It may also burn a bit. I'm sorry for that, if you can hear me." She floods his body with magic, healing anything critical, or injuries that would lead to permanent damage. This included two broken ribs, a small fracture in the back of the skull, three shattered fingers, and the facial swelling. That completed, she teleported with him to a hospital- -in her midwestern hometown. She was quickly becoming tired, and failed to realize this. It didn't help that, it being ten years, nobody would recognize her. She checked the guy into a room, being assured that he would be taken care of, and walked to a remote location. That whole process had taken about 16 minutes. Trying to focus, she brought back up the image of the bar Masun described and concentrated hard. In what was the most sluggish teleport a mage has ever performed, she found herself in front of the right casino two minutes later. On her knees, shaking weakly and trying not to vomit. She fit right in.
  4. (I hate it when the search function goes down. It makes it fairly difficult for me to find things. Anywho, your replies. Fashionably late, as always.) crisahys, on 14 Feb 2015 - 2:21 PM, said: Veil replies, "Yeah, I have a Hearts and Hooves Day plan. I will be quite busy though, but I can manage that in no time. Luckily, the venue is right here at Ponyville. I will be featuring art showcase and would be much willing to collaborate with other artists and do commissions for musicians. My artwork will be shipped to Ponyville soon. The event of my showcase will start at noon and ends by 5pm. By then I will be available by 6pm after all the business stuff gets cleared out and I have nothing to do. Now do mind that my artwork is beyond ordinary and will scare some ponies if not the majority. However, I had those experiences going on during other showcases, and it's nothing new to me. My crew and I are able to handle the situation just in case it gets out of hand with the squeamish. Would Big Mac be okay with something like that?" “Hmmm… I dunno sugarcube. I’ve never really seen ‘im in that sorta situation. He’s a very strong sort, and I doubt it would cripple him. But he’s also rather simple, if ya don’t mind me sayin so. Can’t say it’d hurt to ask, though y’all should pro’lly warn him about it a’forehoof. It’d pro’lly be a good place for the, ermm, eyes, to.” ChikoritaBrony, on 14 Feb 2015 - 2:30 PM, said: Beta nods his head. "Don't worry, it will be fun. You love fun, right? Besides, it will be a fun little break from all the parties you've been having. I Pinkie promise you I will give you one of the best evenings of your life. Cross my heart and hop to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." She looks at you with a smile, saying, “You know I’ll hold you to that,” with a giggle. However, there was a note of seriousness in the voice. A Pinkie-promise to Pinkie is a very serious oath. You’d best have something in mind mate, because you just dove face-first into a whole new level of relationship. No pressure. Count Paradox, on 14 Feb 2015 - 3:28 PM, said: Do chuckles. "Well, she probably thinks she'll get food from me and Puff. Or..." He turns to Chryssi and sticks his tounge out. "She's jealous I stole her ball of love and wants to steal her back!" He laughs, then turns back to Puff. "So, this was a nice surprise, huh?" He nuzzles her back. Chrissy grins at you menacingly and licks her lips, before walking off. Puff smiles widely at you and nods. She moves to hug you, slips on a discarded ribbon, bounces off the ground, the ceiling, captures Chrissalis, bounces back , rolls, and mysteriously stops instantly before hitting you. Now she’s giving a goofy, dizzy smile and staring up at you. As soon as Octavia puts her hooves around his shoulders, Psych suddenly felt her worry flow into him. He gently pulled away from her, trying not to seem like he was trying to get away in a panic. Once she let go, he began to calm down. He listened to her explain herself about her fans, and said, "Well, I am surprised that you don't have more fans..." When he noticed her bow, he suddenly realised what day it was. "Well, um, if its ok with you, before I leave, I would like to ask you if you would like to go on a date with me, unless you have other hearts and hooves day plans." She laughs good-naturedly, and moves, opening the door wider for him. “It sounds like a plan. Will you grant me a place and a time?” She had, at this point, began to realize that there may be something a tad wrong with his eyes, as he had just bumped into a door. However, she offered him a grin, inches from his face, “And maybe another favor?” The Shadow Stallion, on 14 Feb 2015 - 3:50 PM, said: Steelhide cursed inwardly as he was so easily defeated, but then he felt the light kiss on his forehead and his eyes widened. The darkness faded and Luna was gone. Steelhide felt a strange feeling inside. It took him a few moments before he stood up and a small card fell out of his armor. He picked it up and looked at it and smiled, before tucking it in a safer spot. He turned his head back and forth, looking for any sign of Luna other than the card. "Princess?" He called out, he was unsure if they were still sparring or not, he couldn't be too sure with her. “She has left,” comes a forgotten voice from the corner. Dusk whistles from the corner and offers a small smile, “Anyone ever tell you you fight like the sun? Around here, it would suggest that you fight cleanly. If I may offer a suggestion, it would be to fight with every opportunity afforded you in a scrape. Sometimes, a pony is not so fortunate to fight with a stand-up attitude.” Comet Tail, on 15 Feb 2015 - 4:27 PM, said: I chuckle a little uneasily, my ears involuntarily flopping down, "Yeah, me too," I say as my gaze turns down and to the side - but only for a brief moment before looking back at her. "Well, uhm... I meant this professionalll...-well, I guess I can't say 'professionally', but, uhm... You can certainly count this as a date if you like. I did bring you chocolates, after all," I note with a glance at the hot chocolate I got her, grinning all the while. "I mean, I know I just barely met you, but from what I've gotten to know of you so far - I like you and wouldn't mind having you as my special somepony - my Hearts and Hooves Day somepony. Not that you couldn't also be my special somepony if you wanted - You're pretty special as far as mares go, you know; not many are into these kinds of things that I'm passionate about - science, astronomy, magic..." I shift uneasily, blushing a little, but warmly and sincerely smiling all the while. I take a big drink from my hot chocolate. She takes a hoof gently under your chin and gently pulls you in for a kiss, blushing. “Wait, just one moment.” A brilliant flash of light appears before a book, levitating at an angle. She seems to read it furiously for a couple of moments, just enough for you to catch the title: Kissing for Eggheads. She then pulls you back into a much deaper kiss, though it’s still rather sloppy and lacks confidence. Lordav, on 16 Feb 2015 - 09:30 AM, said: Still a bit shocked after the magic flash he just stares emptily to the place Twilight used to be, "Ouch" Lordav snaps out of it; "Well...umm Happy Hearts and Hooves Day to you too...well... there is this place... called... "Dusk's Corner"... and they have some marvelous meals. Its not far...and... there... a..nice park on the way there as well... but... ummm... yeah." 'Dammit... why did you mention the park... now you might creep her out!" He puts on a big smile to hide his total insecurity and nervousness. She blushes and looks at her hooves, kinda knocking them around, “Ummm, well, okay…” She rubs the back of her nervously and then gestures for you to lead. “Lead on, Lordav.” Orion Caelum, on 24 Mar 2015 - 7:17 PM, said: Dear Princess Luna: I would be pleased and honored if you would accept my humble invitation to a picnic at my favorite viewing spot in the Canterlot Mountains. There's a beautiful view of the stars there, and I shall bring my telescope if you wish to have a viewing session after the da..I mean, dinner. Dinner. Yes. *here, the letter seems to have a bit of ink slopped on it, as if the pony who wrote it was repeatedly banging his head on the desk he was writing it on.* Anyway...ahm...I'll be there at 9:00 PM, and I'll make sure to have everything ready by your arrival. -Sincerely(sweet Celestia, that sounds so formal), Royal Astrologer Wilhelm de Winter EDIT: Wait, does Wilhelm have a chance with Luna? I read back through the thread and realized that the dear ol' advisor may have some romantic competition. So I would like to know if I need to change it to Celestia or if Luna is still open (in a way) (We can do this several different ways. We can put you in competition, which is how we would originally do it. We can throw in an alternate universe. Or you can switch.) Luna receives the letter. We will have to see if she attends your late-night date/sight. HopeTheWanderer, on 25 Mar 2015 - 11:13 AM, said: Hope blushed at her words. "T-thank you, wise shamaness.." He squirmed a bit, kindly taking the box and setting it on the table. "I just...wish I had something to give you in return...other than this." With that, the stallion brushed his lips against the zebra's, eyes closed and quick breaths, a the unicorn a little tense. The zebra starts in suprise, the suddenness of the kiss catching her off guard. However, she presses back into the kiss slowly, hugging his head tightly into the lock. After a few moments, she lets him go, a faint blush and a smile gracing her face.
  5. "No. If I end up in Africa, it's on you. Let's just hope the moon isn't on my list of destinations." She cracks her fingers and and gathers magic, throeing it into the ground. It instantly forms a magic circle, glowing and swirling at her feet. She pulls out her phone and looks up the bar. "On your mark, Masun."

  7. "That would be a tad unfair. I don't really teleport often; kinda bad at it. Further, I suck at running and cars have a start up time." She stretched, "And even if it were fair, I don't drink." She fround at her hand, clenching and opening it a bit. Shaking her head a bit, she adds, "I'm not a very good drunk. Or drinking buddy."
  8. Even though Sam was fairly certain that Auria had ment for Masun to answer, she was a tad bored. Pulling out her phone, she did a little reaserch and said, "Among the closer places is Vegas. I've heard that place is no fun unless you're over 21. I am, mind, but I've never personally gone."
  9. "Anyone else see how he eyeballed my magic here? I don't think he's been exposed to this stuff before," Sam says, extinguishing the ball. "He's nice enough, but his language seems a bit... formal. Almost archaic. Your thoughts?" She smoothes her robes and looks at yet another empty soda. I should stop pounding these things. It's not very good for me. She sighs and tosses her latest can in the trash, still waiting for an answer.
  10. "As for your information, all I can tell you is that I've never seen anything quite like it. So it probably has very little if anything to do with the moon." She flips a ball of magic around her wrists to kill time, wondering more on something to do than about theor new guest. She reasoned he wouldn't still be here if he didn't belong.
  11. "I dunno. I've only been here a few days. But I would hope that there's something along those lines because we'd need it. You might be able to access a terminal or talk to some guards. So uhh... do you know where you are Franky?" She gives him a sort of confused smile.
  12. "We work for the government doing what the government needs to further the government's goals. In exchange, we receive special services and large ammounts of currency." She sighs, "Or, in otherwords, we're the special snowflake version of the a covert operations branch."
  13. "Night," Sam corrected from her doorway, stretching. She had changed into her robes, as an unfortunate bed-time nightmare had caused her to spill her half-empty can of soda on most of her clothes. Naturally, she went and acquired more soda, before turning to the elephant in the room. Or what would be the elephant in the room, if people were in the mood for observation. She looked him over for a moment, before opening and sipping her soda. She grabbed another and walked calmly across the room, offered it to him, and leaned against the doorway he was next to. "Greeting unidentified newcomer," she said in a fake, authoratative voice, before granting a well-mannered smile. "Name's Samantha, prefer Sam. You got quite the glowing lattice there. Kinda gives of an astrally vibe. Not my particular area of magical expertise, but close enough to be mistakable. And identifiable. Got a name?"
  14. Sammantha then actually went to her room and laid herself down. Turning on her star projector, she mentally traced constellations until dleep took her. Leo the lion, tarous the bull. Big dipper, little dipper. Orion and his belt. Virgo the Virgin... She slipped into unconsciousness.
  15. "Yeah, I saw him. I just had this thing where I didn't care enough to say anything. Worse-case scenario; someone got lost." She stretched and walked over to a terminal. Sending Zac a quick email, she turned back to the group. "It'll be morning soon. In an effert to not be a colossal b@#$#, I'm going to bed."
  16. "Dude, drop it. Boundary lines are different for different people. Think about for a moment. One, he drinks plenty. His body might heal it right up, but the smell klings to the body. As my dad use to say, the only sober man is God. He would then take a swig and try to find the answer to his problems in a bottle. Two, how many bajillion-year olds do you know that haven't developed a sort of sad, apethetic, or superiority view on mortals? And how many of those people can hide it all the time? How much of your s*** has he taken? And you're still alive. Lastly, how much has Masun talked to anyone beyond the practicality of his station? Minimally. He's not naturally chatty. So what in the name of the Eternal Nightmare are you doing pestering him about relationships right after he broke his sword over said topic?" She says this with a sort of bored tone. She was beginning to look pretty tired.
  17. "Yo. We're discussing nik-naks and collectables. And I was about to ask Chuck here why he has so many expensive items on his person. Especially since they csn break, get lost, or get stolen." She turned and looked at Charles expectantly, levitating another pop from the fridge.
  18. "Who, Zac? While that would bring about huge strides in human-dragon relations, no. He's my mentor, and caretaker. Or was before I was old enough to take care of myself. Now he's a friend and a teacher." She tosses a glance his way, checking out his ring, before turning back to the TV. "So why'd you keep it?"
  19. She shrugged and went back to the watching of the television. It seemed to be cartoons at the moment. She didn't mind, though they seemed a little dry and obvious. She finished her soda and checked a clock: It'd be morning soon. She would probably go to bed soon.
  20. "A collector? What do you collect? Rare plants, stamps, insects, photos of rare animals?" She had had a small 'cool' rock collection before she moved out. Unfortunately, that had stayed 'home'. With a sigh, she stared at her hands. They could be very deadly, if she actually practiced. Before, she'd always been tired... but if they were going to become nocturnal....
  21. "Cheers," she echos, sipping hers. She tosses him the remote and sighs, "Not much on. Other than... you know, 'special' programming. I'm curious, by the way. You don't seem like someone who carries their life in a thousand and a half different items. What'd you have to unpack?"
  22. Similarly, Sam dismissed herself to sit on the couch in the lounge with a soda and flip through the channels. She rolled her shoulder to shake some of the frosty feeling from her shoulder and gazed tiredly at the tv, with no focus upon it whatsoever.
  23. "I wasn't-," Sam holds her hands up, shaking her head quickly, while speaking towards her undead squad mate, "I didn't mean to suggest that you were in anyway unwelcome." She rubs her shoulder - a nervous habit - and blushes a bit. "I just wanted to know more about undeath. It's kinda a new topic for me. Not bad, new."
  24. "That, uhh... well that kinda sucks. Alot." Sam started imagining how hard it would make normal life. Kinda hard to explain away eating people. And daiting? Forget about it. "But there's gotta be an up-side, right?" She offered a weak smile. In all honesty, she was finding it kinda hard to think of something.
  25. "I shot a gun," Sam mumbles, taking her hand from her now-healed shoulder. "How was your meal? You look... better." Sam leaned against a nearby wall and looked the half-undead over, "And, question. What would the food I eat taste like to you? Purely curious- would hate to give you chocolate on a birthday or something to find out it taste like garbage or gives you the runs."
