Jeremiah stopped at the window, and looked back at Storm, a look of concern on his face. When he spoke, there was a slight disappointment in his voice.
"You know, we're not all the same, and you really shouldn't judge somepony based on who he works for or is friends with. If you got to know a few of the ponies in this place, you'd understand that some of us aren't really completely rotten. Some of us still have good souls."
At those last words, Jeremiah took off out the window, heading back towards the guard tower.

Chancy walked down the halls of the hospital, straight towards the main exit. She barged out the doors, wanting to reach her destination with such determination that she didn't notice the male pegasus pony bringing water to a window.
As she came across the building of her focus, she slowed down slightly. Opening the front door, she walked inside, entering a very well furnished room, seeming almost regal at first glance. There were weapons in display cases, mannequins covered head to toe in various types of armor, beautiful, hand woven carpets, bookshelves and bookshelves teeming with books, some brand new, the gold embroidery still visible, others so old that their bindings were beginning to fall apart. There were multiple windows, each having elegant silk curtains, and clear, glistening panes. There was a curving staircase on the right, leading up to the second floor. It was this staircase that Chancy ascended, reaching the top, which held a room almost as extravagant as the first, but with no windows, and a bed, fit for a king, upon which rested Codax.
Chancy walked over to the mare, sitting upon the edge of his bed. She began to stroke his purple mane, saying "Come on Codax, I know you can pull through. I hope you can pull through. I know you always told me that I'd make a great leader when you were gone, that I'd lead the Guild to new heights, but I don't think I'm quite ready to take hold of this place yet. I still need you! Please, brother, please. I'm scared to be alone. Please get better."
She repeated the words twice more, all the while stroking Codax's mane. When she was finished, she silently got up, and began to walk towards the stairs. As she reached the top, a single tear fell off her cheek, landing on the floor below.
Chancy continued to walk down the stairs, and out the door, solemnly making her way back to the hospital, tears swelling in her eyes.
