  1. He was growing annoyed at the racket the things he left alive were causing; it was distracting him from his project. He needed a portal to summon the Jabberwock, and he couldn't make it with magic alone... Hence, the liquid eridium. Now, after he destroyed the lizard with the overblown ego, he had the flying things to deal with. They were causing about as much noise on their own, and buildings nearby were collapsing. Probably from the lizard falling, but he hadn't stayed above ground long enough to find out. He had half-a-mind to go up there, and scare the things off with a group "Fear"... He couldn't do it on sentient creatures, because their brains were too large, but these things? They looked like their brains might be small enough... He grins with malice in mind, concocting an illusion to scare them off with... Perhaps, give them all the impression that something deadly was watching them for an hour, then have a giant tentacle monster appear? That would scare just about anything off...
  2. @,@, He could feel the undead, and he wasn't pleased. He had thought there weren't other necromancers in Equestria, but that no longer seemed to be the case. Undead have a sort of effect on the air and light nearby, and that was very apparent near the catacombs he was about to pay a visit to. He supposed his "Rebuke Undead" spell might work, but it was certainly more difficult on those under another's control, and a real pain on natural undead... He supposed he'd have to try, because he heard voices, and didn't want to get blamed for their deaths. Besides, he might get blamed for whatever was going on with this city, while blame was being passed around. Begrudgingly, he makes his way into the tombs, horn aglow.
  3. I can't wait to see how this plays out!
  4. (I'm gonna have to be the first newcomer tested, aren't I? -_- ) He walks in with the rest of the newcomers, curious as to what they could be gathered here for. It wasn't exactly a very good room, as it clashed with his (terrible) sense of fashion. He would continue to wonder this in between periods of meditation, and decision making. He decided to go easy, keep a low profile with his powers. No point in showing off what he can do yet, as he doesn't know what all these Powers can do... Much less, the extent of their abilities. He'd prefer to know how powerful the people around him are, so he knows what judgement to make.
  5. Name: Marion Ette Age: 38 Race: Unicorn Backstory: A skilled stallion of Public Relations, he gets jobs frequently enough. He found a skill for manipulation of public opinion, when he got his father's business booming after a disastrous scandal almost ruined it. After this, he got his cutie mark of a puppeteer's control boards, with loose strings. He's since become a PR Manager of hire, and has serviced all sorts of clients, including countries. He once did a job for a popular author named... Play Write? Page Write? Page Turner! That was it! Now, of course, he's received an invitation from her, and it would be impolite not to attend, so he RSVPed. Of course, he couldn't have expected what was to come... Personality: A manipulative individual, he's got quite the influensive silver tongue. Otherwise, he's very much plain, with an otherwise boringly comfortable life, with few worries. The only real things he's done in his life, are all related to his current job. He's so good at it, he's made enough to go into early retirement at 42. He's got no marefriend, as no one ends up trusting him, as he's able to bend the truth as easily as another might bend a straw, and outright lie as easily as he might tell the truth; it's almost second nature. He has no family to speak of, no friends, and mare (or stallion) waiting for him; no one he gets close to feels like they can trust him. In other words, no pony will miss him...
  6. He had it up to HERE with those annoying buggers! They were wrecking a city that was supposed to be a sacrifice! He couldn't very well live up to his father's name and title if he didn't rule a place! How was he to do that? Usurp an empire! And that's what he saw here! And how could it NOT be one? It appears to be a huge, expansive place, with larger bounds of technology than what he'd otherwise see! They even had automobiles! PONIES! This would do PERFECTLY! It's no Crystal Empire, but it would certainly do! It even had the tech needed in his device! And they used it to power things! Oh, liquid eridium was a WONDERFUL thing! Too bad some got on that car he passed... Oh well, the owner could deal with it; he had the look of one who's seen death, so he probably knew how to handle a murderous animated car.
  7. Marion Ette Class: Arcane Mage (Dark Variant) Weapon: Magic (Horn) Speciality: Necromancy 1. Lower Hypnosis: Not very powerful, it can get the weak willed to do small things, like ignore your presence or small, basic, inconsequential commands. Spell breaks if they become attacked, and can only be cast with eye contact. Doesn't work on the blind or deaf. 2. Basic Levitation: Every Unicorn has this spell. 3. Luminessence: Basic light spell every Unicorn has. 4. Create Undead: Turns dead creature into a zombie, skeleton, or wight. 5. Death Knell: Slays dying creature, heals caster. 6. Create Node/Connect Leyline: Turn a Scar into a Node for use in the Ritual below. Connect two or more Nodes through Ley Lines. Can only make one Ley Line at a time, and has to travel to each to connect them, while casting this spell. This and the one below require a lot of magic, and require a sacrifice of life to cast. Nodes require something big, Ley Lines don't. 7[special[]. Create Greater Undead: Turns dead creatures into something more powerful, like a Vampire, Death Lord, or Lich (Must be near progressively more Nodes, connected by Ley Lines). @, Ummm... Is that good?
  8. He had finally arrived in the great, big land of Equestria, where he could do some exploring, maybe find more Scars to use as Nodes he could connect. If he was to get as powerful as he needed, he required the energy generated through these Nodes, connected by Ley Lines. It was risky business, and (if all went well) he could finally perform the Ritual of the Lich. It was hard to research what little there was, and basically invented the rest, but it should work... And, if things were perfect, he could also summon something from the Beyond... He was thinking... Jabberwocky. They were a classic, and difficult to slay.
  9. @, I promise not to kill everyone, raise them as zombies, then kill them again for the joy of the thing... Just yet! XD
  10. Sleep, that was a hard thing. When you were a species that knew little, but thought, and brief periods of meditation, you aren't prepared to sleep, nor do you have any idea how to begin. At first, he tried to meditate, as normal. That didn't work they way he planned, as he just couldn't find a way to do so. His brain didn't appear to have that "On/Off" switch, that switched itself back on after a while. So, he decided to imitate the other colts, and see if that would work. So far, it didn't but it appeared to fool the one who came in to check on him and the others. It must've been those fillies that were keeping this body awake. He could hear their voices, their sounds, and it annoyed him to no end. He always disliked those sounds, and would hate it when he went undercover to something called a "Slumber Party". That, however, was a story for another time. Now, he needed to discover how this wretched body goes to rest!
  11. Now comes the hard part: waiting for the next season...

  12. @@Dapper Charmer, I have no issue of my wizard being in your novel, as long as you give credit as you said you would. Perhaps in the "Special Thanks" section? Also, I think it would be interesting, at least being a background character. I'm probably the problem character amongst the beginners in a side story... I can't wait to see how I get trounced by the protagonists! I'm thinking about purposefully scoring lower than normal on the test of Omegas, just to maintain a lower profile. He felt something shuffling about his mind earlier, so he'd be on higher alert, not wanting to draw attention to himself... Well... UNNECESSARY attention, anyways...
  13. XD I'm just gonna be Cartman from now on, aren't I? I can live with that; he ends up commanding Cthulhu! ... That reminds me... I wonder if I can begin working on summoning the World Eater, Jabberwock, once I get the preparations ready... That's going to take WAY too much, though... Like, just about the planet's trees, and so many focal points of magic to become connected through ley line construction, that's going to be RIDICULOUS!
  14. @, XD That is glorious! Must construct additional memes!
  15. I hoped you all liked the little spoiler from the deleted post!
  16. Glad to see my Queen again, even if it's a different future... Also, my King made an appearance, and that was a lot of fun! :D
