Just finished the season five finale, and will now proceed to continue having fun here. What's going on next?

Greetings, peasants! I would love to grace you all with my presence as the Pony OC in my signature, as an Arcane Mage, specializing in Necromancy (Undead)! You could always have more undead...

He noticed an odd presence, but couldn't quite say what... It almost felt like an odd form of possession, or telepathy, but he couldn't quite tell. It felt like a consciousness was being tossed about, while he was getting ready to leave with the rest, so he sent out one last stray thought, before shutting down his surface thoughts for detection. Are you a spirit or a telepath? Either way, next time we meet, I'll have my mind protected. I hope, for your sake, you find out how to break down mental defenses, should you not already know how. After that, his mind goes radio silent, as he concentrates on a single thing, going into a semi-meditative state.

@@Dapper Charmer, Beliphagore's balls! He was annoyed that he couldn't activate his Passive Regeneration Spell, which he had tattooed on himself. With a piece of lettuce, he would've at least been able to close the wound. It would've scarred, because it wasn't being healed, per se, but it would've been something... He plucks a baby carrot from a plate, and put it in his mouth to use as a channel, without it being obvious what he's doing. He concentrates on his array, which activates, and his finger closes up. The carrot turns to ash in his mouth, which he swallows down, keeping down the urge to gag. It was terrible. He shrugs, getting up to Follow The Leader.

ANYPONY UP FOR SOME RPing FUN?!

He shrugs, disappointed in the turn of circumstances. He really would've liked to put on a show. He was going to have the best of times, making him think he was a newt! Everyone else would've thought so, too... He settled on a complex array, that he practically made up on the spot, and it was cancelled at the last moment! He smears the circle, making impossible to remake, noting the intricacies of each line before snuffing it out of existence. "It was fun while it lasted..." He shakes the man's hand, eager to get the situation over with. @@Shift, He had decided to finish eating the food, plundered from the plates of others, laughing fakely all the while. If he could seem to be the most powerful, he'd feign being harmless; it wouldn't do him any good getting on the radar of those who claimed to be more powerful. It was best to play it safe, and figure out how to weasel my way to the top of a mountain of corpses, that were once allies. He didn't care for a single one of them, but it didn't do to go into battle without intelligence, and multiple ways of dealing with the enemy. Besides, he could always attempt to pit his superiors against one another. He doesn't know that one of them is a telepath, so he lets these thoughts tumble out, as he's feigning having fun.

@, Well then... This should prove entertaining... He grins, and reopens his wound with a quick bite, and gets ready to start with the spell. Because it's salad, it's only going to work so well... Let's see... Ah! Confusion Spell! This will be glorious! " Now, I'll begin the show. I just have to finish up a few points of set-up!" He calls out to his captured audience. He starts inscribing an array of Illusionary magic, as well as a few bits of symbolism for specification. All that was left, was the designated target, and he didn't know this fool's name, nor did he trust himself to remember it. He turns to speak to the Jake/Hyde. "Do you have any problems with getting blood on you? I'm going to have to transcribe something on you."

@,@@Aurora Lights, @@Akari of Duskshire, @@Shift, @@SlenderSlayer24, He looks pleased, and happens to let a stray thought cross the telepathic field. This is going to be hilarious... He gestures towards his empty hands, as well as his collar. "Now, all I need is a stick. Anyone got a stick or leaf? Don't worry, the power-suppressant collar is still on..." He smiles at the mention of the collar. He speaks to the staff lady, who's name he honestly can't remember. "How about you? I'm sure you'd like to keep these prisoners peacefully compliant, and good show is known to pacify an audience, just as a bad one is known to redirect the frustrations, and vent it on the performer..." He knows he's laying it on thick, but that's kinda the point. At the very least, he'd get to embarrass this fool who insulted him. Since this is basically prison, he figured it was best to assert himself, if he wanted to get anywhere. Or, he could instigate a riot. That could be fun to watch, at least.

@, The fat wizard, noticing the sudden attention, decides to put on a show. He doesn't appreciate the kind of attention he was giving, no matter how flattered he felt about it. He stands up on the table, and clears his throat. "Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like you all to cast your attention here." He claps his hands together. "I'm going to perform a magic trick. Now, as a magician, I'm going to need a stick and an assistant. For the assistant, how about you, the man with the sharp teeth?" He gestures toward Jake/Hyde to come up with him. "Now, I'm going to need someone to hand me a stick, or twig, or leaf. Hell, a blade of grass will do just fine!" He laughs falsely at his own bad joke, waiting for his supplies, and his response from Hyde.

Name: Marion Ette Race: Umbrum Lich Appearance: A skeleton of a unicorn, with a thin, tattered layer of flesh draped over it. Over such is a large, black robe, made to conceal his form. The coat is mottled with rot, and smells the part. He holds himself with cowardice, and is fully prepared to run away, or teleport (should he have enough magical reserves and a low amount of stress to interfere). His voice is a disparaging rasp, that fits well with his physical appearance. His eyes are closer to pinpoints of azure light. His teeth are viscously pointed, his horn curved inward, turning from black to scarlet towards the tip. When using magic, purple mist glides from his eye sockets, which become suddenly filled with green, with scarlet irises, and near-pointed pupils. His horn will glow with classic dark magic, as his body will suddenly exude black mist (much akin to smoke). He has a bad cough, that spoils his otherwise considerable stealth skills. His phylactery, which allows him to remain in the world of the living (as well as increased magical prowess), is inside his robe, well hidden, sewn into the inside of some of the folds. It looks like a partially corroded silver coin, which he got from betraying his brother for a quick getaway. Abilities: Undead Creation (Zombie/Skeleton Ponies, occasional Ghoul. With the proper preparation, other liches or even vamponies), Illumination Magic, Basic Levitation, Conditional Teleportation (if under stress, like in a fight, or not enough magic reserves, he can't use this spell), Soul Phylactery (as long as it remains, he cannot die. His soul will simply attempt to take over somepony who picks it up, clashing wills. If he wins, the body will warp to resemble his, and he'll then live again. If not, he'll dwell within their mind.)

@@reader8363, He notes, intrigued, that his magic is being drained. He strolls over to it, and pours magic into it, experimenting to see how much it can hold, pushing to short circuit the odd device. He's calmed down a bit, realising what you said, after taking a bit to study you for honesty.

@@reader8363, He face expresses incredulity at your reaction to him stating that his father was one of the most accomplished evil stallions in existence, who enslaved an entire empire, who the princesses considered enough of a threat to seal him under the ice of the Frozen North, who hesitated to send the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony, who had previously defeated one of them and the Spirit of Disharmony, as well as (technically Prince) Marion Ette's mother. To him, this was a ridiculous scenario, only made worse by his off-handed comment about Spike. In his state, he hadn't noticed it was a joke, and reacted poorly. "NO! DO NOT TELL HIM OF MY HERITAGE!" Tears of purple mist pour from his eyes, as his eyes turn to green, with scarlet irises. His pupil's become slanted, like his mother's. His horn glows with the dark magic of his father, accented by a bit of changeling green. A force of powerful levitation magic attempts to cement you to the ground, panic washing over his face, feeling his life threatened by Shadow. If he were to tell Spike, the Elements would find out! If the Elements were to find out, he would be inevitably attacked, perhaps even turned to stone! Like his Godfather! (Long story...) He couldn't allow that to happen...

@@reader8363, This eases his mind, which he makes up. Before I change my mind! "It'sKingSombra!" His voice shoots off at rapidfire, practically unintelligible. He goes stock still, staring hopefully into your eyes, practically praying that you won't shun him for the sins of the father, as so many others were prone to do. He calms himself down, noticing that he spoke too quickly and loudly. His voice becomes more soft, and clear, impossible to be misheard. "My father was the former King of the Crystal Empire Sombra." He stays quiet, turning away, not wanting to see your face of confusion and anger. Surely, after the events at the Crystal Empire, it became common knowledge that there was a shadowy monster, that called itself King Sombra; Spike the Dragon was bound to boast about playing a large role in his defeat, and it would've become well-known. Perhaps, it turned to bragging, and he started warping the tale into something like: "he didn't even put up a fight". Or, perhaps, events played out differently in this universe, and he didn't return yet. Perhaps, Spike wasn't much of a boaster here. Perhaps, his father actually died in this one, like the other Ponyville he hailed from believed... Of course, that proved false; Umbrum have highly regenerative abilities; they can even come back with only their horn remaining... Of course, being half, such isn't the case for me...

@@reader8363, He looks away, avoiding eye contact, mumbling his answer. His coat blushes a harsh scarlet, as his voice muffled by his hoof, and a soft voice, quieting it further. He knows he'll be judged by them, if he says it loud enough to hear. He wanted to get this part over with, but they were more-or-less friendly with him... He didn't know what he'd say if they pressured and placated a bit more.

Yes, greetings and welcome to the adventures you shall face, in attempting to recover artifacts...

@@reader8363, He starts looking pleasantly surprised at the mention of you assisting changelings, but it turns to nervousness once you state that you never saw him. "Well, the Badlands are a large geographical location... Besides, I was in the Crystal Empire, with father." He says, as means of explanation, before realising what he said. He throws one of his hooves into his mouth, the one without a needle in it, as it's draining a good amount of blood. It had replenished itself well enough with the regeneration.

One-two, one-two, And through, and through; The Vorpal Blade went "snicker-snack"; He left it dead, And with it's head, He came galumphing back!

@@cwhip9,@@Yoshikupo, @@Aurora Lights, Now that the last colt had made his way to a marvelous bed, he decided to sleep by the nearest light source, in order to get heat from it. He lays on the ground near a candle, and settles into position, yawning deeply once finally comfortable. It was annoying, being a pony. His carapace would've made resting much easier, and wouldn't last long. Same with his shadow form, assuming it lasted long enough to fall asleep. Once he gets his species back, he'll be sure to immediately sleep better.

1) He can't use magic without an array and a piece of nature. If it's small, like a twig or leaf, it'll be consumed as a one-use item. 2) Mind control is a lot like hypnosis; you can only get someone to do something they already want to do. Also, it would help if he could remember names to even cast it. As of this moment, I've made it so he can't even use it, not that it would be very effective in the first place. He can't get you to give him the keys to his cell, and free him, guarding him for escape. I doubt that's something she would want to do. At best, he might get you to give him a leaf, or a blade of grass, but even that has a good chance of failure. I'm pretty sure that doesn't make him overpowered, but I probably could've phrased it better. I already hinted that he can't remember names, so wouldn't even be able to do so, even if he wanted to, though... So I'm not entirely certain what you're complaining about, if all this was already addressed. I already mentioned his only remaining athame was used up in dispelling the problem with the out-of-control Omega, so that can't be it... @@Pripyat Pony, So, once again, what exactly seems to be the problem? I've already dispelled all your arguments in roleplay, so I fail to see what you're complaining about...

He provided as explanation, as he showed some sleight-of-hand. He had pocketed a spoon from her plate, and set it back where it was sitting, even making a show of adjusting it, so it sat precisely where it was. "Practically a gift!" He chuckles at his own joke, the laugh only sounding false to the trained ear. He makes a show of straightening himself out from hysterics, and paying attention to the conversation, as he ate like a man starved for days. Information was important, and names were power. Power over their possessor, power to do with as a mage pleases. And these fools had practically handed him the keys to their mind. Hopefully, the ritual would work this time; he keeps forgetting the names, right as the rite would call for it...
