Personally I hate talking about Religion. Not because I hate to listen to opinions, No. It's just I don't want to get involved because 6/10 it ends in an argument. Personally you can be any religion. It is fine with me......But just don't get me involved because I'd rather avoid talking about it.

Seems as soon he gets one customer not interested in food, Samurai gets another. "Oh! Uh... One at a time, please! ...Tree sap? That's an unusual request. But I'll see what I can do!" Samurai brought an inventory of items. He was going to do his best to please any kind of customer! "...Quick question for the both of you. Did you want sap from a Cherry Blossom tree or some other tree? We have unique crops that mostly grow in Japon only."

"Cherry Blossom tree sap is the most stable so that would be nice......but umm...." he turned to the seller "ummmm.....Are these things alive?................I've been looking for a pet for a while and they look cute" He smiled and brushed his hoof "Also how much would it cost to keep?" He then proceeded to reach to get some bits for the tree sap

Eventually, Night Eyes makes it to Samurai's booth. "Welcome to my shop! I have many things from Japon. What can I interest you in? Perhaps a choco banana? Dango? An authentic Japonese katana? I have a set of prayer beads that is rumored to have been touched by the late Benkei." Samurai says. He is willing to impress, no matter who comes by.

"You seem to optimistic.........Actually I was looking for some Japon tree sap......I- What is this?" He walks up to what to him seem like moving little balls "Are these alive?" he proceeds to look at the shop keeper....... *He matters (If these things are alive they sure are cute.......I have wanted to get a pet for a while now......Sometimes I get kinda lonely when I study and I think a pet is just what I need)

Ahaban's ears perked, this stranger just unknowingly strolling up? Handing him potentially dangerous tools? Who does this pony think he is? Should he contact the guard? Anxiety rising and already thrown into a question he is unknowledged in: was this common in fair?

 

Clearing his throat and composing he returned gaze with the stallion.

"I'm sorry but I'm not at liberty to conduct business for the Royal Army. I'm simply here apart of the culture fair. If you have questions or interested with business with the nation you must contact them directly and with connections with the Equestrian Embassy." He simply stated.

"okay........You look a bit "Ansty" did I get to into it..........You can give me the gem back if you want......Handing someone something that they may have never seen and may be dangerous doesn't set a good impression.....Sorry........." he looks to the ground knowing he messed up big time "I just thought it would be super easy to get in contact with them if I gave one of their army men a gem with decent power as an example" he proceeds to look up "Look I'll leave you be.....But do you know any booths that are selling magical materials like Dusk-O-Nite or Fortite"

Night Eyes said, knowing he still offered his help to Gem and wanted to look for a gift for Travelture. He took his leave and wandered around the fair looking for a stall owned by someone from Japon. He might have remembered seeing one or if not, there is bound to be one somewhere.  

 

Though asking for directions was an option, he still was unsure. If he could play his cards right, he might be able to pass off as a lost fairgoer. He found someone carrying some maps and approached him.

 

"Excuse me, sir. Apologies if this comes off as strange to you but have encountered with some items from Japon? Even just pointing me in the right direction would do."

Travelture said as he looked at the black fur down the  bridge of his nose, 

"Yeah, a bag for traveling and the dark red outline for probably bringing misfortune. I got it when I was heading to the crystal empire, right after hearing that the ponies that knew me very well either had misfortune happen to them."

His changeling horn glowed and he said, as he levitated the map, 

"So, Gem, where are you from?"

"sure go enjoy yourself"

"Um.........Travelture are you okay? you seem to be vaguely staring in the distance.........Look I have to go.......There's a pony from saddle arabia.......I must talk to him......It's good for business as you know"

Ahaban remained in his chair simply smiling and nodding at the fair attendants who pass on giving the intrigued glance. So far though no real conversation. He couldn't exactly wrap his head as to why he was specifically chosen. His social skills were rather inadequate, he would make one pathetic diplomat. He glanced at the clock before leaning back a bit.

 

"Get comfortable. Just answer questions." He spoke to himself.

"Hey may I say hello.........This may be a bit like I'm jumping to the gun but are you from Saddle Arabia..................I'm a weapon enchanter and of course........I thought it would be good for business to get contact with someone inside the army in case they need any weapons" *Mutters* (Also to ensure I can get items from outside Equestria easily...................) " I don't want to sell you anything........But can we at least talk......" he smiles and hands him a little gem and whispers "It's a bit unstable as it was only a test gem with only the core ingredients which would cause instability but at least the changeling seeing thing works......It's a gem of dusk that isn't fully form and while I wouldn't recommend transforming with a unstable gem I can confirm it can spot changelings......But keep this between us.......These are gems that are only allowed to be used by trained army leaders and weapon craftsman like me........."

"I study at the Celestia College Of Mastery which is just on the outskirts of Canterlot.....While this school is great for Weapon Enchantment it doesn't have many connections with the outside world..........Which upsets me as I feel as if their are so many more Armies I could have contact if they did.......I'll pretty much trade with any army as I never really like to pick sides." He proceeds to look around He notices a pony in the distance

"Glad to hear the army's taking proactive measures to ramping up security. I'd imagine their reputation hasn't taken a complete nosedive given what happened. Anyway, I haven't been around the entire fair yet so I haven't seen the supplies you need but the day is still young. I'm sure someone around here has what you need. If you'd like, I could have a look and see if someone could help out. Are there any specific items you need or do you have a checklist?"

 

Turns out there was some truth to headmaster's request or luck had something to do with the day's turn of events. Either way, Night Eyes wasn't going to complain. This already beats solitary observations or being somepony else's errand colt. 

 

He thought of what he needed and replied with "Dusk-O-Nite Which is very hard to find due to it being on the outskirts of Equestria, Bunny ears, Japon Tree Sap and A compound named  Fortite Which is made up of the elements (Friendship,Darkness,Fog and Ice) the rest I can get myself. But I will be looking for other materials out of curiosity. never dibbled with any compounds or elements only capable of being made outside Equestria so some materials like Night-Bite and Condensed Twilight-Stonite. would also be nice"

"It's nothing, I just remember that I forgot to have my cutie mark on with my disguise. I forget to do that every time. No, I don't own a booth."

He thought about reverting back to his old self, and his horn glowed and went shed his disguise and his cutie mark was visible.

He turned to Travelture "So that's what your cutie mark cutie mark looks like. It is great design no one will expect you"

"Glad to see another friendly face around these parts. I'm Night Eyes from the Canterlot Observatory. How are you doing today?"

If anything was apparent that day, it was Night Eyes being more open and less reserved than usual. Then again, he didn't trust too many ponies during his stay in school or in the observatory. It was much less tense than worrying about whoever is going to make him regret opening his mouth when he had something to get off his mind. 

"Night eyes nice name.......Have you seen any enchanted materials booths around.......I need to make a new enchanted weapon for the Equestrian army. Not that they have any against changelings being here but they have to be cautious as such they want a load of new enchanted weapons for next year to be sure. And I know the exact weapon they need. A Sword/Bow of Dusk. They can make and break disguise magic of any kind. Now of course they aren't targeting just changelings this is just caution they want for next year as they feel as if this year's fair is a bit lacking in the defense apartment. They do say changelings are welcome as long as they follow some rules. Mostly it's just them saying over and over DON'T SUCK PEOPLE'S LOVE OKAY?"

"My past bring misfortune to anyone that knows too much about me, I have seen it happen everywhere I went. If I recall, I've been to 3/4 of Equestria."

he turned around and saw that his cutie mark wasn't there. He cursed at himself for forgetting to apply it to his disguise. 

he looks at Night's face and realizes he rumbling "Oh sorry I was rumbling again. Short and sweet I need magic materials, Do you know a booth that sells any i.........Travelture what's wrong you seem scared........Like terrified even" He turns to Travelture Puzzled.

Travelture jumped and his horn started to glow. After a  minute or two, he calmed down and said, 

"um Hello, Gem Sharpener. My name is Travelture Balland. Just nervous about someone learning a lot about my past, but other than that, no, nothing else is wrong."

Gem laughed and patted his back "Don't worry your past is in the past it's time to have fun just be you. Know if anything goes wrong people like me are here for you" He then proceeded to turn around and decided to ask a question "How bad can your past be anyway. There are some many villains in history that were reformed and accepted almost instantly for turning a new leaf. I'm sure no one will mind if you do the right things."

"OH MY GO.......UGH..........HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.....AH....................That...Is painful......SHET!"

That's me in pain in a nutshell 

I have an earth pony OC in roleplay that can destroy and create universes just by wanting it. Does it make earth ponies in general omnipotent? No. Another OC, a pegasus, can turn galaxies into cupcakes and eat them. Does it make all pegasi like this? No.

In general -- does roleplay affect the show? No. If roleplay doesn't follow the show's canon, it has nothing to do with 'real' (withning MLP setting) ponies.

I'm talking about the show alone, in this thread.

Oh I wasn't talking about the show (Sorry for the confusion) Also their is a difference between something being a Mary Sue like the characters you mentioned and a race being overpowered in comparison with the other two breeds on a general basis

Premise: 

In an effort to foster unity among the various races of Equestria, Princess Celestia established the Canterlot Culture Fair to bring ponies, griffons, and more to share their knowledge and culture to others.  

 

Not everyone comes to the fair looking to expand their horizons, though. Some come for the opportunity, to find fame or fortune. And others to find someone. 

 

Note: The rp is slice of life but depending on what happens, it could change into adventure

 

Rules: 

• Slice of Life (could change later on depending on what happens)
• No godmodding
• RP’ing canon characters is highly discouraged. Discuss with me first if you want to RP a canon character
• No alicorn OCs
  • Non-pony races are fine
• No NSFW content (violence, gore, erotic content, etc.)
• Use proper spelling and grammar

I hate when people start arguing over religion.......They go on about how "I have nothing against other people's religions" and then they meet these people and start arguing over the holiday they celebrate..........Can't we just accept the fact that no matter we say to people of other religions...They will not change.........Believing and trusting in something such as a god is risky as what if you praising the wrong god or what if a god doesn't exist and you wasted your time altogether.....

This takes a lot of time,love and trust from the person believing in the religion and as such they treat it as a part of them and kinda like a family member wanting to pass it on to other people to show what they see as the truth (Which isn't bad in concept but when handled poorly it's disastrous) and as such become very attached to and protective of it. So no matter what you say they will not change.

This is the same for all religions even atheism (Which consists of mostly people who don't trust in the vague info given and lack of facts provided to believe in such a thing......Hint...Hint...me). But this what gets me the most in these arguments over what holiday the person follows or how their god is apparently a big lie and need to start believing in (Insert god or goddess here) Is it sets everyone back a step even those who do not believe. As acceptance is thrown out the window to break up a potential friendship over someone's beliefs

(Also before you say something like "YEAH ATHEISM IS THE BEST! WE NEVER ARGUE OVER RELIGION AND WE ARE THE FUTURE!" Atheist people can cause this to happen as well. They are just as prone to argue about it as much as the next religious person is.)

But anyway I'm rumbling aren't I? Well all I'm really trying to say is why should we care about what religion/holiday the other person celebrates. Is it really worth breaking up a potential friendship over the other person's religious beliefs........Acceptance is something we all need to learn, And something that can easily be forgotten due to difference between the cultures or people in question.

Yet it is one of the most powerful tool you could every have. And is what is helping the human race move forward even more. Just let people live their lives and you live yours and maybe a friendship will form. Regardless if you believe in a religion or not. 

Still thinking, have a lot on my mind, so have to ask.

People treat unicorns as master race, vastly superior to others. Why? Is this statement correct, or not?

Unicorn are the most overpowered base species of pony you can get. Their magic abilities can help them fly and stand on clouds like Pegasuses. Their farming is said not to taste as good but most people do action Roleplays anyway so that doesn't matter and unless you're talking about survival Island Roleplays where farming can come in handy, It just not a very useful trait for roleplaying. Even Slice of life Roleplays tend to start in a city/Town of some sort where farming isn't even involved. Now about the whole "well aren't Earth Ponies and Pegasuses faster and physically stronger" Yes! But unlike the show, spells almost always work in Roleplays as such everyone is able to be faster and physically stronger than both breeds.

Unicorn is just able to one up every base species on everything. No question. I generally avoid Unicorns as species which is why my OC is a earth pony. I feel they are unexplored and actually have issues physically and magically.

But that's just me. 

I love it. We get more world-building, more cutie map episodes, more characters, and more new adventures of our favorite ponies.

You took the words right out of my mouth.... Some more world development was given in season 5. And while I would be sad about losing some of the slice of life episodes. I would like to know more about Equestria's history which is so vague that everything that happened was long time ago or 1000 years ago. What I don't want to see however is them forcing in a battle sequence every episode or creating a plot that doesn't have a lot of connections with the previous episodes (Like introducing a new villain every episode to fight rather than keeping a villain or group of villains all season).

Another thing I wouldn't want to see is filler adventure episodes which serve no purpose but to entertain kids while they wait for the next big bit of character development or story. 

But as long as they focus a lot more on the history of Equestria and Character Development rather than fights, This could be a great season.

Fellow pony folk! YouTube! We all know of it. Many of us love Youtube and we have channels that we adore and watch all the time! Especially certain 'shows' on YouTube, By shows, I mean any kind of high quality production that is has had multiple videos for it at least. Like Game Sack, or JonTron or even Continue.

Recently, I acquired Game Sack Volume 1 on Blu Ray, which is a new thing they are doing. This disc contains the first 20 episodes of Game Sack and has bonus features as well, it is really awesome and I feel really happy to support their channel AND have a physical thing of theirs in my collection. Game Sack is a video game history channel by the way.

 

So, this makes me think, what shows on Youtube would YOU love to see on Blu-Ray, available to buy?

What was the worst movie you've watched in you entire life? For me, the worst movie is Dragon Ball Evolution. 

 

I mean seriously? Who would DARE make a horrendous live action movie based off the best anime in existence? They got all the facts wrong. The COMPLETELY changed the story from the anime. And all the actors act horribly, in my opinion.

 

The rating of this abomination is 2.7/10 on IMDB, and 14% on Rotten Tomatoes. Unbelievable.

Most disappointing movie: RIO 2, I feel as this could of fix everything the other movie got wrong and make the perfect bird movie. Sadly it opted for a predictable story about saving the amazon rainforest. And while it did improve on the visuals. Is that really a reason to like this movie. We watch movies for a story......Right?

Worst movie I've ever lied eyes on: The little panda fighter, .............................Don't ask how I got this movie......I was just a normal happy kid..........I thought it would be funny to watch this bargain bin movie..............Oh I was wrong.......It wasn't so bad it's good........It was true nightmares..........S*itty

story. Badly done ps1 looking animation. And creepy faces and broken body.......And three annoying tracks of music that are played in the movie............ Please just don't buy/watch it...........It's not even worth 50c.......

Pokemon Red, Pokemon, Blue, and Pokemon Yellow. Those old Gen 1 games that blew the gates of success in the Pokemon Franchise wide open with 10 tons of dynamite. Unfortunately, transferring from G1 to G2 (Gold & Silver) was never made possible, back in the 90's so the classic Pokemon from those beloved oldschool games could never travel through time and wind up in Pokemon X, Y, or ORAS, after a lot of pain of trading up through each generation- only with the right equipment- specific consoles, cables, ect. So what say you guys to Nintendo putting the original Red, Blue, and Yellow back on the market for the 3DS, tweaked only with the ability to deposit Pokemon you obtain there into Pokemon Bank, so they're able to be passed into newer gen games?

I might buy a few. Mainly the ones I've played as a child. But I would probably not play them. See what I like to do. Is buy the retro games than play them on 1080p (Or close to 1080p) emulators. See I feel Nintendo doesn't do this because they know emulators exist. And can offer a better experience. So in fear they wouldn't make their money back. They don't risk putting the money in making them playable on the virtual console system.

Is anyone else a lurker? I come on this site countless times but I post one thing like every 4 months. I usually come on here while listening to music and read a couple of threads. Anyone else do this? Forgive me for using '4chan terminology'.

1: Has what I just said already been said a thousand times. If so then there is no point me just going over the same thing.

2: Do I know enough about the subject in question to give a good educated answer. If no then my comment is likely to be too bias and vague.

3: I'm I old enough to answer the question. (Like I wasn't answer a question named "Do you smoke?" as I'm too young and don't even plan to go near them) If no then my advice/comment will be completely meaningless.
