@Samurai Equine Kronos looked at Mayor Black with slight bitterness, but with more empathy than anything, for he, too, knows what it’s like to love your sibling but have a different path for yourself. He briefly remembered his older sister, Rhea, and the time they spent ruling together until he decided to strike out on his own. He stopped Mayor Black briefly before he left and whispered to him, “Try not to make the same mistakes you made here when you get to your new city, okay?”

Just had Celeste on my island last night and made many wishes. Also managed to catch a crap ton of sharks and rare river fish.

@Samurai Equine Kronos stood in awe at the new pony standing before him. He also recalled the blood soldier back into Mayor Chromatic, who somehow still had the amulet attached to him. When he heard what Mayor Chromatic had to say, he replied, “I was merely going to try Mayor Black for treason, but no death penalty or anything like that. Still, two ponies one being.” Then something clicked that bewildered him, “Quickstop, if both Mayor Black and White are basically you, then how come when we exited the game world, White was fatally ill while Black seemed perfectly healthy?”

@Samurai Equine Kronos made a mad dash towards where Mayor Black’s tracker was. He seemed to be in close proximity to Mayor White. He cant fail Mayor White, or else Kronos would never forgive himself if anything bad happened to him. Suddenly, he hears Mayor Black say something about there not being any time and a bright light flashed from the medical tent. Bewildered, Kronos activated a vitality scanner and noticed strange anomalies coming from the tent. Is Mayor Black saving his brother after all this time? Maybe Kronos misjudged him after all. Or maybe it’s something drastic. He still crept closer as a precaution to whatever is happening.

@Samurai Equine As Mayor Black whips past him, Kronos snapped back towards the former mayor. The mayor makes decisive and deliberate turns, almost as if he was intent on heading somewhere. Then it clicked. His hotel, Kronos figured. Kronos took a more quick and straightforward approach and called the hotel ahead of time as he got closer. “Lockdown the building,” Kronos ordered, “We got a bogey inbound and get me a security detail around the town, now!”

@Samurai Equine Kronos took a look at his tracker. Hmph, he grunted to himself, So the traitor is testing the limits of the tracker i put on him, huh? Time to lay down the law on this fat bastard. He quickly got up to his feet and leapt over the wall to the outskirts until he found his tracker. It was approaching him fast. What the hell is Mayor Black on?

As he patrolled the streets of Friendshire, Kronos saw that everything seemed quiet and peaceful. That being the case, he decided to take a break to sit down and play some music. He pulled out a guitar from his seemingly bottomless case and began to strum. As I walked out on the streets of Laredo As I walked out on Laredo one day I spied a young ranchcolt wrapped in white linen Wrapped in white linen as cold as the clay “I can see by your outfit that you are a warrior” These words he did say as i boldly walked by ”Come sit down beside me and hear my sad story Im shot in the chest and i know i must die” ”It was once with a saddle i used to go dashing Once with a saddle i used to go gay First to a cardhouse, then down to Rosie’s Got shot in the chest and im dying today.” ”Get six jolly stallions to carry my coffin Six nice young mares to bear up my trawl Throw bunches of roses all over my coffin roses to deaden the clods as they fall” “Then beat the drums slowly, play the fife lowly Play the death march as you carry me along take me to the green valley, lay the sod o’er me I’m a young stallion and i know i’ve done wrong”

@Samurai Equine @Dynamo Pad Kronos didnt notice that Dynamo already started pummeling the leopard into submission. He proceeded to follow up by unleashing his arsenal into Snow Leopard. The spirits chipped in with entanglement spells and holy smites.

@Samurai Equine Kronos was fighting for his life when suddenly he finds himself in front of a cybernetic leopard and....Samurai!? He also notices his flamethrowers are refueled and his weaponry is reloaded, including his rocket launcher now filled with micro-warheads. He then heard the cyborg leopard speak. “Answer you?” Kronos asked, “ANSWER YOU!?!?” His suit opened up to reveal an armory of weaponry ready to obliterate the robotic cat and he quickly retracted Samurai with a zero-point energy beam and pulled him safely behind him and his friends. His spirits also manifested with their spells and weapons drawn towards the leopard. “WE ANSWER TO NO ONE!!!” Kaiser yelled. ”ESPECIALLY TO SCUM LIKE YOU!!!” Krux added. “We are ready to obliterate this creature into nothing on your command.” Gabriel said. Ajax simply nodded pointing his mace at the leopard. “Any last words, kitty cat?” Kronos said mockingly.

@Ragland Tiger Kronos barely heard what Bluebell asked over all the commotion occurring around him. When he found a small amount of respite, he turned to her and replied “All the townsfolk are being evacuated. Follow where they’re going and you’ll be safe. Umm, here take this.” He gave Bluebell a lightweight but durable plate of Eternium to place on her back. “GO GO GO!!!” he shouted as he continued to fight more of the paper army.

@Ragland Tiger Amongst his fighting, Kronos hears Bluebell calling out to him. He pulls out his whip blade and wraps Bluebell with it, retracting her onto his beck before proceeding to fire an explosive fire blast towards the oncoming assailants. “Watch your back!!” Kronos told Bluebell as he dropped his arsenal box and pulled out his enormous Nest of Bees he remodified to hold bigger payloads and unleashed a massive salvo of explosives into the stampede.

@Samurai Equine Kronos’ eyes widened with disbelief. His own employer, one of the two leaders responsible for this town, dares to retreat!? The nerve of this coward!!! his voices interject, Lost cause!? Our kingdom was built out of ruins and rubble!! How could this possibly be a lost cause!? As he stood there, Kronos looked at the Dark Stone Buster sword. Then at Mayor Black. He went up to him and swiped his amulet away from him. He presses it a few times and then gives it back. It injected syringes into Mayor Black’s chest, extracting some blood and minerals from his body to produce a replica soldier made of blood magic. “This soldier will protect you until you reach your destination,” Kronos explained, “Afterwards, it will dissipate and reabsorb into your body, but not before branding you with the shameful Brand of Cowardice. As of right now, you are considered a traitor to Friendshire. My spirits could sense this mark within a 1000 mile radius. If you so much as breathe within Friendshire’s outskirts, I’ll hunt you down and charge you with treason of the highest degree under your brother’s command. You can pay me to wreck havoc to the town square, but you cant pay me to abandon a place i swore to defend with my life. Farewell, Mayor Black. My contract with you is forfeit.” He then returns to the town walls, barely in time to give orders to defend the town. Buster sword in hand, he orders “OPEN FIRE!!!” He then proceeded to charge straight into the group of paper assailants and began to cut them down group by group and occasionally leapt into the air to spin fires around the sky to burn down groups of flying attackers. Damn, he thought, There’s so many of them. We have to burn them to ashes to really finish them off. I hope the others are okay. He then performed a rather spectacular combat spell. He raised his hand up in the air and quickly swiped it down shouting “STARFALL!!!!” And a large fireball shot from the atmosphere into the ground, incinerating more aerial attackers and leaving a large area of the field burnt asunder. This fight continues on for Kronos repetitively.

@Samurai Equine “Only this, sir.” He produced a holographic projection of the map of Friendshire with the surrounding area littered with the paper ninjas he saw. “Apparently, according to Samurai, there was some paper ninja thing that was going to cause problems. Someone had a premonition that this town was going to be attacked in a full-scale invasion. My scouting drones confirmed this suspicion. I predict, without proper preparations, casualties and deaths could number in the hundreds if not thousands from both sides and this town would be reduced to ruins.” He then hears Mayor Black’s proposition. ”That would be perfect,” Kronos replied to Mayor Black while bowing, “Thank you sir. I’ll get things mobilized right away.” Kronos proceeded to go over to the shop that sold hunting supplies. I could refurbish these into some lethal stuff, Kronos thought, I just need their cooperation. ”Hey,” Kronos tells the shopkeep, “Im the one Mayor Black said needs your help.” He now awaits the shopkeep’s response.

@Samurai Equine Kronos made it back to Mayor Black’s office. He gave him his report. ”Sir, there’s trouble brewing in the outskirts. And it’s not pretty. There’s an army of ninja that intend to destroy this city, and I doubt they’ll take prisoners. Im not asking to mobilize a militia, that’s too impractical. Im asking you to evacuate the citizens to a secure location while i hold off this imminent threat looming over the horizon. Please, sir, I’ve never asked for anything from you until now. Evacuate your citizens to ensure the future of your town lives on.”

@Dynamo Pad @C. Thunder Dash @Samurai Equine @Ragland Tiger @ExplosionMare Kronos was on his way to Mayor Black’s office when he encountered the others. He notices panicked looks on their faces. He then sees one of them has a glowing mystical box. Samurai’s Laronde Box. “I suppose you already know what’s approaching.” He told them “And we all know what this could possibly mean, right?”

@Samurai Equine Krux was sniffing at Kronos’ arsenal box, which was a virtually bottomless box that held a whole bunch of weaponry, yet still remained light as air. Bewildered, Kronos looked back at the box and selected “Recent” on it. There, he saw a weapon he forgot was there, Samurai’s sword. The Dark Stone blade. “Hmm,” Kronos lamented, “The combination of magic nullification from both my Eternium armor and Samurai’s Dark Stone Sword, we may just have a chance at something here.” He gave the buster sword a few swings. While it was a buster sword that was almost unwieldy for most ponies, Kronos has enough strength to wield it single handedly. He swung the sword with fluid grace and felt a surge of power emanate from the sword as it seeped into his armor. Huh? Kronos thought, Could it be that the magic nullification properties of both the blade and my armor create some sort of synergy?

Kronos awakens as the first exposure of the morning sun makes contact with his armor. The heat emanating through minute gaps in his armor permeated and went onto his skin, giving him a calming emergence from his stasis. As soon as his eyes open, however, his spirits immediately manifested. Danger is imminent. They told Kronos. “I know,” he replied, “That damn paper gazelle thing or whatever the hell it was warned us. Samurai entrusted me as the new guardian of this town. I will due my damnest to keep these civilians safe. We may have to break a few self-imposed rules to do that, however; but, if push comes to shove, we might have no other choice.” You dont mean.... ”Yes,” Kronos answered, “We may have to resort to our ancestors ancient traditions of destruction magic. The results would be cataclysmic, but it could bring a swift end to what’s coming. But only as a last resort. Otherwise, the most we can transgress our self-imposed restrictions is implementing our full arsenal.” You mean our condensed photon mass drivers? Our weapons that fire projectiles made of condensed light that shatters and burns into its target without leaving an exit wound? We all agreed that was against our morals here: Dont use technology far beyond these ponies capabilities. It gives us an unfair advantage and might give us undeserved reverence. “What other choice do we have!? Do you think there are plenty of other capable fighters amongst these civilians? Remember, we’re not in Ragnarok anymore. Most of these ponies probably dont know how to wield a sword properly, let alone a projectile weapon. We are their best shot at warding whatever the hell is coming. And if we cant do that, then this city is lost. If we have to resort to desperate measure, we damn well better commit to those measures.”

@Samurai Equine @SolidFire7 ”I could be asking you the same thing, stranger,” Kronos replied to the changeling, “I’m only gonna ask one more time: who are you and what’s your business here?” His suit visibly hissed out some air as he went from tense to relaxed at regular intervals, seemingly ready to strike at a moment’s notice. This one looks skilled, a voice told Kronos, We best exercise caution.

@SolidFire7 As he patrolled the city, Kronos’ sensors detected an anomaly. Unknown presence detected. Kronos immediately went to investigate. Upon reaching where his sensors told him, he saw what looked to be a changeling performing some sort of swordplay. A performance of some sort? his voices asked. Perhaps, Kronos replied. He then turned his attention to the changeling. “You there,” he called out to the changeling, “How did you get in? Identify yourself.” He kept his sword at the ready, cautious about his approach.

@SolidFire7 @Samurai Equine I might be able to keep post around the city and mayhaps try to halt him as an introduction to the new guy. Then @GeneralDirection’s character could intervene at some point.

@Samurai Equine ”Hmm,” Kronos said out loud to Finn, “I dont know, depends on what they think. Guys?” His four spirits manifested themselves to Finn. “Alright alright,” Kaiser said, “I’ll behave myself.” ”Good,” Gabriel told him, “We dont want to put this child’s life in danger again.” ”So kid,” Ajax said, “We all have our own fields of expertise. So, to narrow it down, lemme tell you who specializes in what: Kaiser is the most ancient of us all. Any information you want to learn about you inquire him. I am rather knowledgeable in defensive magic. Gabriel is adept in light and healing magic. Krux is a master close quarters combatant. He and Kaiser can also teach you a little bit about blood magic.”
