  1. @Dynamo Pad It’s all good. We just started the second phase.
  2. @Dynamo Pad, @Pastel Heart, @C. Thunder Dash, @PawelS, @Windy Breeze, @ExplosionMare, @GeneralDirection, @Samurai Equine The heroes managed to destroy a generator!!! One down, two more to go. The deterrence field visibly weakened. The heroes still cant bypass it safely, however, so they still need to destroy the other two. Kronos discharged an electric field around him to get heroes off of him like a bug zapper, only it was a pony zapper. His mech suit changed appearance. It was now stout with missile salvos equipped on the sides and he began to lock onto a hero. The obvious target was the pesky druid that tried to latch onto his back earlier. “Let’s see you dodge THIS!!!” Kronos taunted as he unleashed a hail of missiles at the heroes. The mass of explosives would deal huge amounts of explosive damage and deal a fire DoT, however, the missiles shot straight up with their apex reaching the ceiling then come down and the heroes could see where said missiles would land, if they were paying attention to the ground and seeing the shadows of the payloads. On top of that, after a salvo, Kronos has to reload his launchers, leaving his only defense being to thrash about, which makes him open to attack.
  3. @Pastel Heart As Kronos tried to wrangle the hero off his back, the little pink filly landed on his cockpit. Pastel would clearly see an annoyed look on Kronos’ face before he extends his arm out and the center of his metal claw hand began to glow. He was charging an energy attack. He knew that Pastel was weakened, however, and didnt want to kill her, so he switched his arm cannon from “incinerate” to “stun” and it glowed light blue instead of orange. “Pastel,” Kronos tried to order the little filly, “Get off or i will stun you.”
  4. @PawelS Kronos felt a weird discharge on his back. His generators!! “Who the hell is there!?” Kronos asked as he swung around trying to flick off whoever was on his back, “Get off!!” Kronos is swinging wildly now!! The heroes have a chance at an attack at the generators while he’s distracted!! Will they take this opportunity to strike or recover?
  5. @PawelS Well, i could make this another situation like with Pastel where Kronos got hit from behind and he swings around trying to fling your character off. Besides, physical damage is suppressed, as in, greatly resisted, but not immune. You might have just saved your team from another plasma blitz by initiating another rodeo. I hope your character can cling on as well as Pastel’s.
  6. Kronos took notice as he took some damage, however, as long as the generators were secure, he could keep the deterrence field to the Dark King’s chamber up. Not only that, but he was also able to put up a shield around himself as well borrowing power from said generators. A translucent blue energy shield surrounded Kronos now. Physical attack damage is suppressed while the shield is up, but magic damage, especially electrical damage, could shorten out the shield very quickly.
  7. @Dynamo Pad @Pastel Heart @Windy Breeze @PawelS @ExplosionMare @C. Thunder Dash As the heroes entered Kronos’ chamber, he leapt from his rafter with Pastel imprisoned, shouting, “YOU GO NO FURTHER, HEROES!!!” As he slams the ground, a Borderlands-esque intro scene occurs, which simply says: “Kronos, the Juggernaut. This is the end!!” He looked to the heroes, then to Pastel and simply tossed her towards her allies. ”SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!!!!” he yells as he unleashes a flurry of plasma shots at the heroes. This barrage of plasma should be relatively easy to dodge, and it would deal heavy damage to heavy armor. Heroes with high evasion or energy resistance could easily tank these shots; otherwise, heroes would take LOTS of plasma damage and suffer a plasma burn DoT for a couple of turns.
  8. I dont know why, but this is all that’s been going through my head lately:
  9. @Pastel Heart @Samurai Equine @PawelS @Windy Breeze @ExplosionMare @C. Thunder Dash @Dynamo Pad @Cinnamon Coffee @GeneralDirection As Kronos continued to dangle Pastel off the rafter, he pulled up a display of his remaining defenses leading up to his chamber. Sure enough, the heroes were quickly shoring them out with just water. A very small oversight that cost him a lot of time, but he feels like the heroes deserved this for the gauntlet he’s already put them through. “Hmph,” he says to Pastel, “Your friends are very intuitive. Should an opportunity like this occur again in my life, I’ll have to take this oversight into account; however, i do believe I’ve let their crusade go on long enough. I’ll provide them with some help.” He pressed a button on his arm that made the chambers the heroes were in light up like neon bar signs. They were lines that seemed to guide the heroes to the main command center. All they had to do was follow the lines and just give a knock, and Kronos would let them in.
  10. How the police are portrayed in movies:

    ”License and registration?”

    *Reaches for license and registration*

*Shoots civilian 20 times in the chest*

”ThEy WeRe ReAcHiNg FoR a GuN”

  11. @Samurai Equine Well, you mainly got the landscape right, devoid of life and full of nothing but advanced technology. It’s the interior of the fortress that’s gonna need some explaining and i kind of did a little bit of exposition of some of it with Pastel’s imprisonment.
  12. @Pastel Heart @Samurai Equine @Dynamo Pad @C. Thunder Dash @Cinnamon Coffee @Windy Breeze Kronos looked down at the severely injured filly in pity. Instead of finishing her off, he got out of his mech suit and knelt towards her. He then placed a claw on her shoulder and said, “You may be labeled an assassin, but you have a warrior’s heart. You have my respect, little one.” He then grabbed her by the back of her garb and dangled her from the rafter, waiting for the next move of the heroes. All of them.
  13. @Pastel Heart Kronos grunted as he felt the generators getting damaged on his back. He swung around attempting to get Pastel off of his back. ”Insolent child,” he growled at her, “I gave you chance to wait for your party, but now you’re wearing my patience thin.” He leapt a high height from the chamber to the rafters and scaffolding, hoping the shear vertical velocity would be enough to get the filly to loosen her grip on him and also preparing himself for his grand entrance to the hero party once they reach his boss room.
  14. @Pastel Heart Kronos is still suited up, but as with all giant hunks of armor, there are some chinks that can be taken advantage of. Plus, there are MASSIVE and obvious generators mounted on the backs of Kronos’ mech suit that power up the deterrence field protecting the Dark King’s chamber. Say if someone were to overload them with, let’s say, electricity or just enough damage, they generator could explode, dealing massive damage to said mech suit and weakening the deterrence field. Just saying.
  15. Spongebob ”Let’s give a big hand for Big Band.”
  16. @Pastel Heart At his command center, Kronos noticed cameras were suddenly going offline. There was only one pony he knew in the party who had the know-how and the opportunity to do so at this moment. He pressed another button at his command console which recalled his elite gold crab bots to the room. The crab bots were outfitted with machine guns and Kronos gave them a signal. They proceeded to scatter and search all nooks and crannies in the fortress. They’re bound to find someone or something, but given how small the nooks and crannies are, whoever or whatever is in such cramped spaces would only have to deal with one crab bot at a time.
  17. @Pastel Heart Kronos was confused at first when he heard Pastel ask for forgiveness. “Forgive you for what?” he asked as he looked at what Pastel was attempting to do, “Oh, hmm, I see what you’re going for here. However, your little compartment is isolated from my critical components. Still, i cant have this distraction, so, I’ll just place you here. Conveniently on this shelf. By yourself. With nothing else to stop you besides your small frame and gravity.” He proceeded to place Pastel’s prison compartment on what was essentially a shelf outside of his chambers while he locked her out, waiting for the rest of the party. Still, should Pastel choose to escape, she’s gonna have to try something different other than simply knocking this time.
  18. @Windy Breeze @Samurai Equine @GeneralDirection @Pastel Heart @C. Thunder Dash @Cinnamon Coffee @PawelS @ExplosionMare As Kronos gave Pastel a quick tour of his labyrinth, she would see cybernetic tunneling worms, some liquid metal fiends that travel in the walls and occasionally pop out to attack, a cybernetic minotaur equipped with rocket launchers, a giant maniacal cyborg equipped with a giant laser saw, even an automated tank with lots of drills in the front end of it all patrolling the maze. “So, anyways,” Kronos went on as if he was giving both a tour and a lecture to Pastel, “This is essentially the final phase of our fight, if they make it. So they....Pastel? You there?” Kronos simply shrugged and went back to the main boss chamber, but not before finding something for Pastel to eat and drink while waiting for the heroes. He wasnt completely lost in his role, as the others assumed, he’s just really good at making things, at least in his eyes, exciting.
  19. @Pastel Heart As soon as he heard his door being knocked on, Kronos opened it up remotely and immediately unleashed a flurry of plasma shots into the corridor, which most likely destroyed whatever was right in front of the door. Incidentally enough, due to her small stature, most of the shots actually missed where he aimed at. So, instead, Kronos went up to Pastel and modified his plasma cannons into stasis beams and imprisoned the small filly. He stored her into a storage compartment inside of his mech suit. He just didn't have the heart to kill a filly, even if it was just in a game. "You'd make a great bargaining chip," Kronos explained to Pastel, "You'll be out of commission for now, but this prison will keep you safe. In the meantime, let me show you around." He proceeded to escort the little filly into the catacomb labyrinth while he waits for the heroes to try to get past his automatons.
  20. @Dynamo Pad, @Pastel Heart, @C. Thunder Dash, @PawelS, @Windy Breeze, @ExplosionMare, @GeneralDirection, @Cinnamon Coffee Kronos simply looked on at the heroes as they made their way to his level. He then hears Tempest attempt to ask for hints. He gave a slight smirk and decided to humor her. Suddenly, one of the animals began to speak saying, "Hmmph, you want hints? Fine, I'll throw you guys a bone here. There are many ways to get around the fortress, however, they come with a give and take. Do you wish to try to get past powerful mechanical monstrosities or try to get past fiendishly difficult traps that can instantly kill you? The choice is yours." Suddenly, Kronos somehow feels a presence near his boss chambers, one that he shouldn't be feeling yet, but he decides to get into his mech and get into the room anyways, just in case. His mech suit--at least, it's first incarnation-- is monstrously towering, but there's some visible generators on the back of it that seemingly connect to the deterrence field protecting the Dark King's throne room. These obviously seem to be important for the heroes to take note of, at least, any heroes that happen to manage to bypass his security.
  21. Kronos took another look at the upcoming fight as he sat in his command center. He noticed some of the characters decided to return home. Nevertheless, he was still left with quite the party to fight. “Now that’s what im talking about,” Kronos said to himself with a hint of hype, “Time to let the beasts loose.” He pressed a button, which gave a high-pitched signal throughout his level and opened up a gate, unleashing literal hell on earth with a huge stampede of cybernetic animals that had explosions of brimstone follow them. “Time for the gauntlet.” He turned around and looked towards his elite units, ready to defend the fortress, units which included gold-plated crab bots and mechanical armored chimeras, giant lizards and giant crustaceans of different kinds. @Pastel Heart @ExplosionMare @Cinnamon Coffee @Samurai Equine @GeneralDirection @PawelS @Windy Breeze @C. Thunder Dash *INCOMING TRANSMISSION* “Welp, looks like this is it,” Kronos tells the heroes, “You made it to the final level, where im your penultimate hurdle before you reach the King of Darkness. You like what i did with the place? I did it all myself. Well, all i gotta say is COME GET SOME!!!!!!” *FINAL TRANSMISSION TERMINATED* The first thing the heroes would notice is a stampede of cybernetic animals coming their way, which wont make their advance to Kronos’ fortress easy. Heavily armored vehicles may be able to plow through most of the animals, but they’re gonna need to still deal with giant armored creatures inside the fortress and Kronos himself later.
  22. Toy Story 2 ”The world is full of obvious things.”
  23. @Dynamo Pad, @Pastel Heart, @C. Thunder Dash, @PawelS, @Windy Breeze, @ExplosionMare, @GeneralDirection, @Cinnamon Coffee, @Samurai Equine *INCOMING TRANSMISSION* ”Ahahahahaha,” the heroes would hear Kronos tell them in an almost maniacal tone, “If i recall correctly, you seem to have a Wrath of the Creators relic on you guys. Well, guess what, I’m tired of the heroes always using some sort of Deus Ex McGuffin to weasel their ways out of the toughest parts of their journeys, so that bullshit ain’t gonna fly on MY level. That’s right, i finished a device that prohibits any sort of advantageous bullshittery from happening, at least in my level. So, if you plan on using it, you might as well use it now, because it wont work in the Dark King’s castle, either. See ya when you guys are finally six feet under. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.”
  24. @Samurai Equine Actually, i was a little curious about those unique character events. What are they supposed to be? How will they come about?
  25. @C. Thunder Dash @Dynamo Pad @Pastel Heart Kronos was eating some cheddar popcorn as he was eavesdropping on the conversation after resettling in. After listening, he butts in with another transmission: *INCOMING TRANSMISSION* “Aww, well aint this just peachy?” Kronos said with a sarcastically sweet tone, “Two heroes going over their differences like boyfriends. Too bad none of that will mean jack shit once you reach my artificially terraformed level, the BioMechanical Highlands. There, you’ll be introduced to old and new creatures that are far tougher than you’ve ever faced before because, well, i turned them into cybernetic units programmed to kill on sight. So, see you guys there. Hope your corpses fall in my highlands.” *TRANSMISSION TERMINATED*
