That just reminds me of Rook from Rainbow Six Siege. If you don’t know, Rook’s signature tool is an armor pack, which, according to him, is “a ceramic plate capable of stopping a .357 magnum round traveling at around 40 km/h at an effective range of 50 meters.” Watch his Operator video on YouTube to understand what I mean.

Uhm... I mean, kudos, but stopping a .357 magnum round isn't all that hard tbh. It's a pistol caliber that packs a punch, sure, but you can stop it even with soft armors.
Plate carriers usually carry plates made of steel (Level 3 and 3+) or ceramic (Level 4) that are able to stop rifle rounds. I think the steel ones are rated to stop .308 rounds (or 7.62 x 51 mm NATO rounds), which is a hell of a heavy round. So... eh.
