Most people don’t even deserve a license to drive if they don’t even understand basic laws of the road. Do they not understand what “yielding” and “right of way” is anymore? I was biking my way home. When it was my turn at a BIG crosswalk on a BIG intersection, I made my way and this person honked at me because they think I’m “blocking their way” when they were trying to make a right. Ma’am, there’s a fricking sign that says I can have my turn on the crosswalk and ya don’t just try to run me over because you don’t pay attention to the traffic lights in the intersection!

So I bought my first GoPro today from my local BestBuy (HERO 7 Silver model), but I got it at the cost of having some road conflicts, I guess. On my way to BB, my GPS led me to the end of a bike lane at the entrance of a highway ramp. I didn't want to get across the entrance ramp since there's no more bike lanes up ahead and traffic is too harsh today.

On my way back, I stopped before the crosswalk at an entrance ramp to let the traffic go, but instead I just fought back and fourth and get honked at again. Like damn I was just trying to be generous and let the traffic continue...

Then I slowly pass a dude walking his dog and he told me that I should be riding on the bike lane and not the sidewalk, even though that's literally almost every other ebike rider I see doing.

I guess I'm being a huge idiot today. Definitely going to save up for an Onyx "ebike" so I can blend in with traffic and not deal with terrible bike lane infrastructure and karens telling me where I should be riding on. Like I just bought myself my very own GoPro and this is what I deserve today apparently.

My bike's buttons are finally fixed! I have no clue if it's because of how faulty my display was or if it stops working after reaching a certain milage but I can now change pedal assist modes, adjust settings, and most importantly, turn on the fricking headlights and backlight!

Today I learned my ebike CAN actually run for 20 miles on a single charge. (as long as you help it on the hills that is and go light on the acceleration)

My work is already screwed. I asked to never do any closing in the first place. My coworker is a full time closer but kept telling me that if management puts her back into her old department (bakery and morning shift), she's going to quit. Welp, new schedules out and they put her back into her old shift next week. Cuz then they'll screw me over with closing times and I do NOT want to close. I'm going to have to request transferring to working with meat department or Imma get myself a new job before I put in my two weeks. No surprise that management in grocery stores love to screw their own employees over.

Having some problems with my ebike. The other night, I tried turning off my bike after riding back from work, but the buttons I use to turn it off have stopped functioning. It takes a bit of effort trying to turn it back on, but I cannot change any pedal assist modes, go through settings, or use the headlight (which I need to use since I work MANY shifts that end at 8PM). Planning on getting a brand new controller and display or getting a replacement display (if that ever works). Other than that, the bike still works absolutely fine but I'm definitely planning on upgrading its electronics and batteries.
