New laptop. MSI GP72 Leopard Pro to replace my desktop and make profit off of some parts and because my room gets extremely hot while the PC is in use. Now I have two proper gaming laptops >:)
Also this is a test to see if the updates are fixed.

I think I'm feeling only slightly better now. I still feel like shit with my current job and miss going back to school. But for right now, I'm doing okay.

Before I actually take a break from here, lemme just vent this out real quick. I am at absolute boiling point right now. I don't have my license yet. I am in a troublesome situation where I don't have a sufficient ride to work anymore as my workplace is 10 miles from home. Too tough for me to ride on a bicycle and my electric bike broke on me. I asked my boss if I can transfer to a the store in my area rather than working 10 miles from home and having to always rely on people to give me rides. He said "either you buy a car or get a new bike because I'm doing something special for you that I've never done before." (Give me a big raise even though I'm new to the company) But 10 miles still isn't worth it as rideshare is too expensive for me (and demand can cause the prices to spike up to $35-$40 + tips for a 10 mile ride). This really hurts me so much. I don't think I can handle it anymore. My best bet is to call my union rep and tell them I either want to transfer workplaces or I'm quitting the company. My boss can't just push the knife further into the wound like this to me. It's not a matter of how special I am to him or the workplace cuz I'm always being treated like shit and I'm always replaceable. I just don't know anymore...

It is so sad that you have to go through all of that. All of those people are just making your life harder and I don't like the fact your mother wants you to be in the navy; it's bothering me for some reason. Screw your mom, her ways of teaching are just cruel.
Your boss just reminds me of my stupid dad's Japanese manager of his work. That guy did not give dad a day or two to recover from an illness so he left the job temporarily before going back. Your boss is definitely at fault even if he's really doing something 'special'. Have they know making there workers suffer is the easiest way to loose them? I don't understand businessmen like that.
You should probably look for any better job to work in; jobs not too far away from home.
I remember this wasn't the first time I said this. I remember telling this to somepony with a very similar circumstance. I hope you'll get a better job.

I'm probably going to stay off this site indefinitely. Too much going through my mind and life right now. My mother just treats me like shit and refuses to give me a ride to work now (10 mile ride). Fed up living under her roof. My job isn't feasible to me anymore. It's too far away for me to walk to and none of my friends are able to give me a ride now because of school. Rideshare is too expensive. I'm force fed reality and life. Great. No drivers license and I'm now considered disabled. I don't know what to do with my life anymore...

Nobody wants to give me a ride anymore for work. My only option is rideshare, which costs $55 for a 10 mile ride and $35 if you are willing to wait for 20 to 40 minutes. This isn't worth it anymore, and I might need to quit my job or just stop showing up. This is what happens when you've got a parent that has conservative beliefs, kicks their own children out of the house at 18 despite if they're prepared or not, and will only focus on their more successful child.

Intel I7 11800H (8 core)
RTX 3060 6GB (105W)
512gb SSD
Display is a glossy 4K samsung AMOLED panel
My only problems with the laptop are the VERY weak wifi connection out of the box (somewhat fixed after several driver updates) and the gigabyte software is bad. It has an AI feature that changes modes/profiles depending on what programs are running and it keeps turning back on after every restart. I'm overall happy with the new machine so I can get rid of my old Razer blade laptop.

Horrible day today. My boss got pissed off at me this morning for breaking the promise of keeping my raise and promotion a secret. But at the same time, i didn't want to be a liar to some of my coworkers that I've considered as MY friends. My own boss is trying to hold my life on the line with my occupation. A trash job where I'm being emotionally drained and have to wake up feeling miserable every single day. Not worth it anymore.

Another rant: I'm constantly being told by my mother to get a driver's license. I have absolutely no problem with getting a license. Getting a driver's license isn't the problem for me. The problem is having the time to do anything. I have to work full time and I never have any actual time to dedicate to studying and practicing for a driver's license, let alone doing anything productive in my life. I can't have the time to get into college because my goddamn job won't let me have a schedule to work around it. If I were to have a schedule to cater around college classes, then I would have my raise revoked and I won't be making $17/hr anymore. The job itself is miserable, unproductive, and just outright tiring and constantly stressful while being 10 miles away from home. My mother expects me to work full time while also having a full time schedule college while also being her little damn servant in the house cuz she sees herself as like the queen or something.

I just received my "new" laptop thinking I can sell my Razer Blade for a bit of extra profit. Now that I think of it, I'm keeping both (for now).
The new device I got today is nothing special.

Heck yeah! It's better than minimum wage! Though I do plan to quit after I get my Onyx RCR ebike and the Honda that my mother is offering me and find a new job that is local to me instead of a store that's 10 miles from home lol. There is a chick-fil-a that is being built in my area so I might check that out.

@The Hawks Simpnah I'm not actually that interested in working for chick-fil-a mainly because fast food is a pain in the ass for me already. I want my grocery store job to be my last job working for grocery and food in general. I'm gong to save up as much as I can so whenever I do leave my job, I would still have enough to put for the car and already have my motorbike.
