I read on the news thread that we will be able to buy the class with bits eventually.

It's almost pointless to do anything on the server until it's updated. The entire map (save for a build each person), and all inventories are going to be wiped. So it's better to wait until we can do stuff and not have it wiped.

They aren't letting anyone do that at all. Check first post.

I doubt it, due to the toll it takes on older or not as powerful computers. Not everyone has a powerful enough computer or a gaming rig for that. The Admins want this to be accessible to almost everyone who wishes to play, and an amplified world wouldn't really help that.

I have a ton of stuff I've hoarded from several holes. At least I can build a nice house to move over, even if I lose my hoard. -
Yeah, we're going to be able to move a build, just not any items or ores.

So, with the new server going up and the old world getting wiped, what is everyone planning on doing? I'll probably first find a far-off nice place to have my house placed, and then make a basement and start working on gathering supplies, fill out the house with furniture and equipment, and then start on a easy-harvest garden system and start hoarding food. Then, I'll take a few stacks of food and start working on (re)hoarding everything else (diamonds, different stones, lupis, emeralds, alchemy supplies, etc). Then, I'm going to make a massive build that will show off everything I've hoarded. ??? Profit. What's everyone else planning on doing?
