I'd say my elementary school days were alright and those days were when I did my best, but over time, I stopped caring and found it to be kind of a waste of time. I wasn't learning anything useful and I've developed social issues because of disdain from classmates and teachers. If anything, I felt like I learned a lot more from researching books and the internet in the past few years (after high school graduation) than I've ever had from my years in school. Not to mention how interesting some of the things I've learned by myself have been, compared to the boring, stressful, and forced atmosphere of school.
I'd actually say that the environments I've lived in aren't even ideal atmospheres for learning. I felt like I would've focused much more on my studies had I lived in a cooler climate with much more decent school systems.
