Rapid Wind

@Blitz Boom Rapid Wind saw the piece of paper and what was written on it and couldn't help to chuckle a bit at it. "I think some pony is trying to prank you," Rapid Wind said toward Stargazer and pointed to the piece of paper. @Seamore Sandwich "Hmm, okay then, but make sure to get out of the castle at some point, all that hard work and sorting things out does take a toll you know," Discord said with a little bit of affection and concern. He didn't want to see Twilight get too over-worked. "In the meantime, however, if the two of you are ready, let's be off," Discord said and turned his attention to Fluttershy and Starlight Glimmer. Fluttershy nodded that she was ready to go.

@Blitz Boom Since Rapid Wind is staying put, you could use this opportunity to introduce another OC if you want, I'll leave that up to you, Rapid Wind.

@Blitz Boom Rapid Wind decided to wait patiently and he felt it would be slightly rude just to get up from the table and leave. Though formal manners might be a bit silly in the country town of Ponyville, Rapid Wind had come from a big metropolitan city where he had seen formality being played out by the 'higher class' pony societies. He hated their 'high society' nonsense, but still felt formal manners were sometimes important. To keep himself occupied though, he started to glance around the shop from his seat.

@Blitz Boom "So, I take it from that you haven't met Princess Twilight yet," Rapid Wind said and looked at the bat pony and his night guard armour and he would think a royal guard with armour would meet all the Princesses at some point as he probably betted the Princesses sometimes shared guards. It would make sense in Rapid's mind rather than to keep hiring. Then, Rapid Wind noticed his coffee cup was already empty, but rather than get up and leave, Rapid Wind decided to wait until Stargazer was ready too.

@Blitz Boom "Well, I'm not a strong coffee drinker, but which pony doesn't enjoy the occasional cup in the morning or at some point during the day," Rapid Wind replied and then drank the entire cup of cappucino in one hit and put back down. @Seamore Sandwich "Oh, okay Starlight, I can show you around," Fluttershy said softly. "As for me, I don't need showing around, but I would enjoy the extra company," Discord said and was quite glad Fluttershy was joining him and Starlight. "Hmm, I wonder Twilight, would you care to join us too?" Discord asked, deciding to see if Twilight wanted to come along as well.

@Blitz Boom Rapid Wind didn't much like being called 'sparky' either, but rather than cause a fuss about it. Rapid Wind paid the vendor two gold pieces. Rapid was actually keen to get the cappucino down his throat and so as soon as he paid the vendor, he trotted quickly over to Stargazer and put the mug down on the table. (Two bits seems fair to me.)

@Blitz Boom "Sport?" Rapid Wind fumed, "Why does every pony assumes Pegasi ponies race around or do some athletic event?" Then, he sighed and calmed down as he felt maybe he was overreacting to a greeting. "Sorry, I'll take one cappuccino," Rapid Wind said much quieter.

@Blitz Boom Rapid Wind was still waiting his turn to be served as another customer was in front of him and taking a while to make up his mind. Rapid Wind was reasonably happy to wait patiently and stand in line, but his wings twitched just a little showing his patience would not last forever. Then, the customer in front of Rapid was served and it was Rapid's turn.

@Seamore Sandwich "Oh, Twilight, you trust me enough to let me hang around your new pupil, thank you," Discord said and smiled with more happiness, though his smile still looked a little creepy. He didn't hear Twilight's whisper into Starlight's ear, but saw Twilight doing so, however he assumed she was telling Starlight to be friendly with him. "Oh, by the way, perhaps I've been in my chaos realm too long because I've haven't spoken to Fluttershy in a while," Discord said as he addressed this issue. "Discord..." Fluttershy's shaky voice came from behind a castle door.

@Seamore Sandwich That's okay, take your time and actually in my opinion, I think there's only so much even Fluttershy would trust Discord with. He's still the spirit of chaos after all. That being typed, I might give Fluttershy a go. Worst thing that can happen is that I get it wrong and I learn how to improve next time.

@Seamore Sandwich "Twilight's new pupil?" Discord said, "Oh, Twilight, you didn't tell me you have a pupil." Discord frowned, he didn't like it much when he was not kept in the loop of things. "So, tell me, what else is new since the last time I made an appearance," Discord said, turning his full attention to Twilight and glaring at her. @Blitz Boom Rapid Wind paused to think about what he would like to eat or sample. Then, he also caught a whiff of something that smelled rather good and started to follow his nose.

@Blitz Boom Rapid Wind noticed a lot of the ponies were smiling or just giving a wave or trying to be friendly, rather than invasive and perhaps trying to rob him of personal space. There were times back in Fillydelphia, the streets were crowded with both ponies and dragons and personal space felt like a luxury. Still, he still felt like the stranger in Ponyville and was reluctant to be making new friends in a new town in a hurry. Rapid Wind turned around and saw Stargazer move toward the market and decided to follow after him.

@Blitz Boom "Well, perhaps the marketplace and town hall would be best first anyways," Rapid Wind responded and snapped out of his thoughtful pose. He happened also to look up and around him and he noticed there were quite a few ponies about and here in Ponyville, he was the stranger. Though he had heard Ponyville was a very friendly and welcoming town, now he appeared to be witnessing it first hoof. Rapid Wind trotted back a pace with a bit of nervousness as he didn't expect to be welcomed or have this much attention paid to him.

@Blitz Boom Have you introduced other ponies being in and around Rapid Wind and Stargazer because you want Rapid Wind to meet another OC or just to do background and neutral characters. I don't mind either way and it would make sense in the large countryside town of Ponyville for other ponies to be about. @Seamore Sandwich No, I didn't expect Starlight Glimmer and I will await to see what you might post next when you have the time.

@Blitz Boom Rapid Wind didn't notice the watching foal-like eyes or the clouds with tails sticking out of them. But he did pause to stop for a moment as he remembered wanting to visit the marketplace to buy a few more things and maybe a Ponyville souvenir or something. To go straight to Twilight's castle was also an interesting prospect as well, though he thought the chances of actually encountering the Princess of Friendship were slim to none. Rapid Wind paused and stood still and mentally debated on whether to continue to Twilight's castle or to visit the marketplace.

@Seamore Sandwich Ha, compliments on your ability to RP as Twilight. That's exactly how I would imagine Twilight reacting to Discord appearing out of nowhere.

@Seamore Sandwich "Tut, tut, Twilight Sparkle, I had been waiting for an invitation for ages and I was so bored inside my realm of chaos," Discord commented. "Now, you, I've never met before," Discord said as he turned the attention of his eyes to Starlight Glimmer. Discord wondered if this new pony had heard about him and his apparent reform and that he was the spirit of chaos or not. "Hmm, I think an introduction is in order, I'm Discord," Discord stated in a friendly, but maniacal manner and stretched out his lion paw hand. He even managed to put a friendly, but still a bit creepy smile across his face.

@Blitz Boom "Hmm, noted," Rapid Wind replied and got a little concerned that any spell put on the castle to defend it from outside intrusion might have a bad effect on him and as he trotted a little closer, he hoped not to be zapped. Rapid Wind also noticed Stargazer was using his wings and felt a little awkward to be still trotting the ground.

@Blitz Boom & @Seamore Sandwich. My Rapid Wind and Discord postings have been missed. We all make mistakes and I'm patient enough to wait. Heck, sometimes I forget to check my messages on this site. Anyways, get around to it when you can and it will be much appreciated, thanks Rapid Wind.

@Blitz Boom Rapid Wind didn't hear Stargazer's half mumble, but he did hear his question. "Very, even from this distance," Rapid Wind answered and noted there was still some distance left to travel and he felt he might as well get trotting and started to trot closer to the castle.

@Blitz Boom Rapid Wind took on what Stargazer said after he thought about it for a bit, though he had greatly lost confidence in flight during a event that happened years ago, being part of the weather team or mail delivery team did not necessarily mean fast or dangerous flight techniques or very fast speeds. Still, the mail delivery option did sound the safer of the two as he judged being part of the weather team might occasionally call upon speed or dangerous manoeuvres to control clouds and storms. However, his lack of confidence in flight meant he wouldn't turn down a job that some ponies would consider more appropriate for Earth ponies. He began to think, he still had power enough in his back legs from constant trotting and keeping himself in good physical shape that knocking apples off trees shouldn't prove too difficult. However, he feared he would have to face his lack in confidence in flight sooner rather than later. Only after this thinking session did Rapid Wind actually pay attention that he could see Twilight's castle beginning to appear and he to admit he was already impressed and he actually admired he could stand on the ground and admire it than view it from the air.

@Blitz Boom "I do have a cutie mark actually," Rapid Wind stated and turned, so Stargazer could see that he had a symbol of a breeze on his flank. It was a little unspecific as though it could mean that the pony it belonged to could be a fast flyer able to create strong breezes with speed, it could also mean that the pony it belonged to simply realised he enjoyed flying in a breeze and found that this made his cutie mark appear.
