My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Applejack How did you find MLP Forums?: desperate google searching How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: quickly and with gusto ​Hey All I have always loved anything animated. I started watching MLP:FIM when it was added to Netflix. I fell in love more and more with each episode I watched and recently purchased cable (for the first time in SIX YEARS) so I can keep up in real time. The animation and design is gorgeous. The story line is interesting and complex enough to keep the attention of an adult, but simple enough to be a retreat from daily stresses. These are the reasons I've always enjoyed cartoons. However, I've never really been a FAN of anything. Not a real fan. Not the binge-watching, detail-noting, forum-joining fan. Until now. The female driven story-lines, the love and friendship, the lack of romantic plot, the diversity of feminine traits, the diplomatic problem solving it's just adorable. Everything I need more of in my life. I'm forever grateful to Lauren Faust for offering this universe to hide away in when I need a place of rainbooms and party cannons. So far I have expressed my fan-ness by way of merchandise, binge-watching and forcing friends/family to "just try it once!"... So far, no one in my life really shares in my enthusiasm except my wife who recently joined in the fandom fun when Maud became a more prominent character. So I'm hoping participating in this forum will help me find new ways to bask in MLP fun-times ​I don't know if it's going to be my "thing" or not, but it's worth a shot. So hey guys. I'll be stalking around here for the next couple of days trying to find a place to fit in. See you around!
