Well, well, well…it’s bout time they released a model of the Penrite Mustang. I’ve been waiting ALL YEAR for Biante to release this model. Unfortunately, they've released it while we're stuck in lock-down D:

GOD DAMMIT!!!
I REALLY want to get this, but there’s a part of me that says I should wait. The Bathurst 1000 is only a few months away (...and for those of you who dont know, the Bathurst 1000 is Australia's biggest race. It's like the Australian version of the Daytona 500) and I have a feeling Kelly Grove racing will have a special livery for the Penrite Mustang. Ever since 2017, the Penrite sponsored V8 Supercar has had a special livery for the Bathurst 1000.
Man, I wish they'd released this model A LOT earlier. to make things even more complicated, S.H. MonsterArts has released a few figurines that have caught my attention.(100% getting heisei Goji. I NEED THIS in my collection!!!)
(I'm 50 - 50 with Mecha G 2021. Like I said in my previous status update, he left a BIG impression when I saw GvK in cinemas earlier this year. I'm tempted to get this thing, even tho it's $380. A part of me is telling me I should save that for an S.H. MonsterArts figure that I WANT. A.K.A Burning G, Destroyah, Kiryu, Godzilla 1984...but here's the thing: this version of mecha G has solidified itself as my 5th favourite kaiju on this list. Honestly, I think I should just get the $20 funko pop of Mecha G, buy the DVD and call it a day)
I dunno what to get. I think the real deciding factor will be the bathurst 1000. Ever since scotty McLaughlin left the championship last year, Dave Reynolds has become my favourite driver and in my book, he is the only one I'd even consider as a replacement. Whenever I buy a diecast model, there's a reason behind it. (Dave made the switch to Ford / Kelly Grove Racing after he tore up his 10 year contract with Erebus motorsport. So yeah, we got an extremely experienced driver as a result. ) ...but then again, 2020 has not been a good year for the blue oval. decisions, decisions...
So yeah, it's a $265 diecast VS a $380 figure...
