Well, the final round of the Sydney cup is coming up. the good news is, my favourite driver (David Reynolds) has just received his 2nd dose and he will be able to participate.
F*CK YEAH!!! 
I was a lil worried bout this, ‘cuz the replacement they had for the bathurst 1000 was…chris van de drift. Yeah, that would’ve been a piss-weak combination for the great race if davey was unable to get his 2nd dose. (Yeah, he was absent in the last two events at eastern creek). At this point, this is preparation for the bathurst 1000. Now, I can say these guys are in with a shot to win the bathurst 1000 in two weeks time.
According to Speedcafe.com, he was supposed to get / receive his 2nd dose prior to the Bathurst 1000. The fact that he’ll be able to compete this weekend is just the icing on the cake.

...and when ya consider his co-driver (Luke Youlden) has already had two rounds under his belt, he’s already got an edge over the other co-drivers. (…and what’s funny is, there’s a co-driver session this Friday. It’ll be interesting where he ends up in that session) These guys WON the Bathurst 1000 in 2017, and I have NO doubt in my mind they’re gonna take it up to the heavyweights.

Well, that is it for the Sydney cup. it was a pretty disappointing weekend. If there is a silver lining to this, I'm glad I did not get tickets for the final round of the sydney Cup. I would've lost $200 + (that's IF my dad wanted to tag along with me). What's funny is, this is the most expensive of all the events. It's $100+ for the saturday and the sunday and the weather was pretty dreadful. (also, the night race they had yesterday with the super soft tyre was...really stupid. it made a mess of the entire field. you couldnt tell who had genuine pace because of the super soft tyre)
*sighs* Look, I'm just happy I got me merch and I got to see Anton carve up those red bull cars. if anything, the previous rounds were a lot more entertaining than this one, and this was supposed to be the main event. oh well, it is what it is.
(now I just need to get this thing and add it to my collection) ^w^
Next up, is the biggest race of the year, the bathurst 1000. t'was nice to see davey make it into the top 10 shootout and for a while, it looked as if he was gonna get pole position. unfortunately, it was only good enough for 3rd, which is still pretty bloody good IMO. (even if it was a lil messy) I honestly would've liked to have seen them get back underway, but like I said before, it is what it is. From what I've seen, his car is pretty good in the wet, but not in the dry. yeah, they'll need to fix that for Mount Panorama. I wish him all the best :3 well, at least I got a ton of screenshots of davey's car in the first and the fourth event of the sydney cup X3 (...and I got a good look at his car when I was at the track) Overall, I'm happy they had 4 events at eastern creek. it was a lot of fun.
Now that that's over, I can focus on my wish list and I need to get meself an advent calendar ASAP. there was a kinder surprise advent calendar at my local supermarket. kinder surprise chocolate is SO GOOD!!! ^w^
