    -        Muscle Cars (just wanna get this out of the way: I HATE JDM and tuners. I consider them to be Ricers, and I’m not the biggest fan of Chevy’s either. The only japanese cars that I like are the Nissan Z and the Subaru WRX (IF it's NOT modified)

    -        Ancient History and just about anything that is medieval (their weaponry, their armor, their way of life, etc.)

    -        Mythological creatures and cryptids

    -        Animals (mostly birds)

    -        hard rock, synth-wave and Eurobeat

      Hmm...that's a tough question. If I had to say, umm...gen 1 provided a decent challenge. When I fought against my rival and giovanni at Silph co., I thought I was overleveled. NOPE! XD their pokemon was as strong as mine and Giovanni's Nidoqueen was on the same level as my Nidoking (which was lv. 40 / my strongest Pokemon at the time...and I should note that I LIKE to get my Pokemon several levels higher than the competition so I dont get caught in a sticky situation) O.O Not gonna lie, this caught me by surprise. I havent had a moment like this since the Ultra Necrozma fight in Ultra Sun and Moon. but to answer your question...I'd say gens 1 - 5. they all provide a decent challenge. But if I had to pick ONE, I'd say 4 (Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver) :)
