Right back at ya, my friend. :eager:

  2. man, there's A LOT of stuff coming out near the end of the year. A couple of hours ago, SH MonsterArts has released two new figures: Shin Godzilla and Heisei Goji.

    FfqKOyQVIAEfspV?format=jpg&name=4096x409

    FfkH1xQVQAI_WsJ?format=jpg&name=4096x409

I know they havent announced the price of these two, but I already know that Heisei Goji is gonna be $150, which is reasonable. as for Shin, well...I think he's gonna be at least $280 - $300. hopefully, they've fixed some of the QC issues they've had with this figure. not too long ago, Super 7 released a Destroyah that's roughly 9 inches tall (22 cm) and 14 inches long / wide (35 cm), WITH accessories for $200. Okay, that is a STEAL!!! :sunbutt:

    UL-Toho_W3_Destoroyah_grid_2048.jpg

I'm kinda debating between this and the Super 7 Destroyah figure they've just put up for pre-order.

    SH-Figuarts-Venom-Let-There-Be-Carnage-0

I missed out on the Marvel Legends cuz I was an idiot. well, the good thing is this figure looks a hell of a lot better than the Marvel Legends, it comes with A LOT of accessories and it looks screen accurate. :o it is $110 US, which is pretty steep. I think that is a lil over $200 here in Australia, but I'll need to find out. so yeah, the two of them are pretty close when it comes to the price.

Look, I like both movies, but if you were to ask me the question: which movie would I like to watch again, and again, and again? I'd pick venom. It's a lot more fun, it's got a lot of good humour in it and I like the bond between Eddie and Venom. Godzilla VS Destroyah is an incredibly dark and depressing film. Yes, it's one of the best in the franchise and it means A LOT to me cuz this was the first JAPANESE Godzilla film I ever saw on television, but this is not the type of movie that you can just simply go and watch. It'll make you feel depressed, trust me. (and that's something you need to be aware of before you start watching this movie) so yeah. I'm kinda torn between these two.

I'm expecting them to re-release Kiryu next month. so that's why I havent spent my money on something...expensive. yeah, next month is the 20th anniversary of Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and I've noticed they're re-releasing Kiryu Goji. when it comes to Godzilla figures, there's only two that I REALLY want: 84Goji and Kiryu. that's it.

For those of you who have been out and about, is there any figures / merch that you'd like to get for christmas? :o I'd like to hear your thoughts. :squee:

well, I just came back from my sisters wedding and it was...horrible. I thought we were just attending the wedding and then we'd go back home. that's it. unfortunately, we had to stay at a "hotel" and sleep there for 2 nights. there was nothing to do. I was bored out of my mind, it was a f*cking slum. the accommodation was terrible, the food was terrible, and I lost 900 + points for my E-tree. I am f*cking pissed off.

She was very rude to me when I was growing up and she's one of those who thinks she is 'entitled' to everything. I couldnt care less bout my sister or her stupid wedding. If it was up to me, I would've just stayed home. to make matters worse, we're going on ANOTHER holiday on the monday, and we just got back. my f*cking feet hurt. I dont wanna go out. I am done.

    3. Samurai Equine

      Samurai Equine

Sorry to hear that, my friend. I hope things get better soon.

  8. Well, it's time for me to go to sleep ^^ goodnight every-pony :eager:

  9. I've created the most powerful set of armor in legends of equestria :O :o

  10. So, have you guys gone out recently and seen anything you like? :o :O doesnt hurt to go out and do your christmas shopping early. ^^ it's pretty chaotic in november and december, and most of the items you're looking for are usually sold out around this time. as for me, well...there's a 1:12 scale chopper I'd like to get for my marvel legends ghost rider. Should be coming in within the next couple of days. it was $50. yeah, this was something I had to get.

the Mezco is $380 and the haslab is a whopping $900!!! you can get this chopper AND the Marvel Legends Ghost Rider for $95. UNDER $100. that is WAY TOO GOOD to pass up, and this is something I had to pick up ASAP before it was sold out.

    owFTBIq.png

I also pre-ordered the 2022 world rally championship winning Toyota Yaris in 1:43 scale. we're getting a toyota yaris in the not too distant future, so why not get a diecast of it? :ooh:

    2022-Toyota-GR-Yaris-Rally1-3.jpg

...and last but not least, Super 7 has just released a figure of Destroyah :o this thing looks AMAZING!!! :ticking: it is $110 (US). if you were to convert that to the australian dollar and compare that to some of the SH MonsterArts that came before it that were roughly around $88 - $95 US, that's bout...$200 + (Australian). give or take. that is cheap. I'd imagine the SH MonsterArts is $600 + if not more on Ebay. I dont really give a shit if he doesnt have any articulation. (tbh, he didnt really move his legs that much in the movie) I'd rather have a figure that is solid that has no articulation than one that has a lot of articulation, but is fragile. If I had the SH MonsterArts, I dont think I'd like to play around with it, cuz I'm afraid I'm gonna break it. At least, I dont have to worry bout this thing falling apart. I already have a NECA burning godzilla in my collection, so this is PERFECT. :mlp_laugh:

I'll have to contact my local supplier to see if he can get one for me. there's no guarantee that he'll be able to get it. when it pops up on popcultcha.com, I'll let him know. HOPEFULLY, it's not too expensive *fingers crossed* :lie: I have a feeling it is gonna be between $200 - $250 +.

Godzilla VS Destroyah is a very sad and depressing film, and it's easily one of the darkest in the franchise, but it is also one of the best. this film means a lot to me cuz this was THE first JAPANESE Godzilla film I ever saw on television. :eager:

@Oni Musha and @kaijubronyyt apparently, it's fully articulated, according to a Super 7 spokesperson O.O @3:31 of the video :o well, shows what I know.
...and they say he's 16 inches wide and 16 inches long. that's 40 centimetres. that's BIG!!!

  11. man, I really wish they released some funko pops / plushies / highly articulated figures of the mane 5, similar to the guardians of harmony figurines they released a couple of years ago.

IF they released some (officially licenced) merchandise of the mane 5, who would you get? as for me? well...I think you already know the answer ;)

I might be down for some show-accurate Funko Vinyl figures like we got for G4. However, they'd have to be accurate to the main CGI series. If they look like their TYT models, forget about.

  12. well, that's really unfortunate. for the first time ever, the top 10 shootout has been cancelled. what a shame. I was really looking forward to this. that means the results from qualifying is now where they'll start for the great race. as for SVG who qualified in 4th, and with the 3-grid spot penalty hanging over his head, that means he'll be starting from 7th. that's good. at least he wont be starting from the first 3 rows of the grid. overall, I'm pretty disappointed that they had to cancel the top ten shootout. :sunny:

    Link: https://www.speedcafe.com/2022/10/08/bathurst-1000-shootout-cancelled-amid-wet-weather/

on the plus side, that means Lee Holdsworth is on the front row of the grid alongside Cameron Waters / you've got two mustangs on the front row of the grid. :mlp_laugh: Richie is on the 2nd row of the grid (4th) and nick percat will start from P6. I'm pretty happy bout that. ^^

So, the grid has been set and this is where they'll start for the great race:

    DM16h6N.jpg

  14. I just finished watching qualifying for the bathurst 1000 and all of my favourite teams managed to get into the top 10 shootout. here are the results:

P1- Cameron Waters (this was an absolute rocket-ship in the wet.)
P2- Lee holdsworth (I'm really surprised he managed to get into the top 10, but his team-mate David Reynolds DID NOT. I'm pretty disappointed bout that. for the most part, he was down in 17th - 18th throughout the entire session, so I guess there is a little more to that)
P3 - Chaz Mostert (Yep. no surprise.)
P4 - Shane Van Gisbergen (at the moment, this is provisional. at the very end of the session, he punted Macauley Jones simply because he was on a hot lap and he didnt want to slow down + macca was ahead of him and he had to turn into the corner. expect this wanker to get a grid spot penalty and whoever is in 11th to get into the top 10 shootout. he will be penalised, for sure. I. HATE. SVG. IMO, he is THE dirtiest driver in the field)
    Link: https://www.supercars.com/videos/championship/van-gisbergen-punts-jones-into-the-wall/

    FeckkuwXoAEhYqF.jpg
(expect to hear A LOT of SALTY Red Bull fans WHINGING bout this incident. what a bunch of dumb-cunts. all of them.)

     salty-salt-bae.gif

P5 - Stanaway (I knew he was gonna get into the 10. he is one of the best drivers in the wet)
P6 - Will Davison (no surprise. he's had a really strong car throughout all of the practice sessions leading up to qualifying)
P7 - Percat (they have a REALLY strong driver combination for the race. really glad to see BOTH WAU cars in the top 10)
P8 - Courtney (okay, this was a BIG surprise. DID NOT expect him to get into the 10. earlier in the practice sessions, they were nowhere. now all of a sudden, they've got some of the fastest cars in the wet. they've really turned things around. that is really good news for tickford.)
P9 - Brodie Kostecki (Okay, I'm REALLY happy he got into the 10. he's one of my favourite drivers)
P10 - Will Brown (pretty interesting to see ALL of the Erebus cars get into the top 10.) :o

If Shane DOES get a grid spot penalty and he gets kicked out of the 10, Anton De Pasquale, who qualified in 11th, gets into the top 10 by default, and that means you've got BOTH shell cars in the top ten shootout. Now THAT is something I'd like to see :ticking: I just hope that common sense prevails. *fingers crossed* :lie:

As for all of the drivers that did not get into the 10, that is where they'll start for the race. but yeah, other than that little incident near the end, I'm pretty happy with the result and I cant wait to see who gets the armour all poll (award) :mlp_laugh:
EDIT: "The penalty to the #97 Red Bull Ampol Racing entry will be three positions, applied after tomorrow afternoon’s Top 10 Shootout.

It means that Car #97 can start no higher than fourth on the grid on Sunday morning, when either van Gisbergen or Garth Tander will be behind the wheel, and as low as 13th."

well, that's good. that means he wont be able to get pole position. haha. get rekt!!! shit-head got what he deserved!!! B)
    Link: https://www.speedcafe.com/2022/10/07/grid-penalty-for-van-gisbergen-after-jones-incident-in-bathurst-qualifying/

    also...

"van Gisbergen did not comment when queried on the matter by Speedcafe.com."

pfft. what a wanker. cant even fess up to the media when something happens to him. look at all the other drivers. whenever something happens to them, they have the balls to stand up in front of the camera and give us their two cents. what a sook.

  15. man, Ford is really kickin it into high gear for this years Bathurst 1000. ^^

not too long ago, DJR unveiled their livery for Bathurst celebrating their 1000th race in the Australian Touring Car Championship / V8 Supercars Championship:

Todd Hazelwood will replace Tim Slade (it's bout time they got rid of him. he was kina 'meh'.) and he will drive the CoolDrive Mustang next year:

    Pt4xzAH.jpg

(Yeah, he is a MUCH BETTER driver than Tim Slade. there have been numerous occasions where he has finished inside the top 10. ^^ with a really strong car, who knows where he'll end up.)

...and my favourite team, Penrite Racing has just unveiled their livery for the Bathurst 1000.

the cars look fantastic. love how it's got the Australian flag on the side of it. hopefully, they'll be able to replicate their success in 2017. they have a much better shot at winning than last year. ^^

  20. Well, the bathurst 1000 is less than 2 weeks away, so let's start off with some news from DJR. they've just unveiled a new livery to celebrate their 1000th race in the ATCC / V8 Supercars championship.

    DJR-Bathurst-Livery-1J1A0542.jpg

they say the livery is based on the EL falcon. Oh come on. we all know that is based on the AU falcon.

    DJR-AU-Falcon-1.jpg

I'm kinda disappointed they did not use this when they had the FGX Falcon a couple of years back. well, I hope it brings them good luck, cuz they're certainly gonna need it.

    Website_Tile-3.jpg

Shell V Power Racing / Dick Johnson Racing is my favourite team in the V8 Supercars Championship and I'll be supporting them. I really hope the #17 wins the race. B3

Okay, let's talk bout some of my favourite drivers and who I think is gonna win. Let's start with my favourite: David Reynolds. he will be paired with factory Porsche driver Matt Campbell. he has raced a couple of times in the great race, but most of his experience is from the Bathurst 12 hour in a Porsche 911 GT3. in comparison to the other co-drivers, he has done almost double the amount of laps in comparison to all of the other co-drivers, and he has won the bathurst 12 hour, so that straight-away gives him the edge. throughout the year, avid Reynold has had a REALLY strong car an honestly, I'm surprised he hasnt won a race this year. he's got a couple of podiums. could this the race where he gets his first win for Grove Racing? I hope so.

    sgKRHBl.jpg

Next up is Cameron Waters. he became the ford hero after Scott McLaughlin left for Indy Car. in the recent past, he's finished on the podium twice, but he has never won the great race. he too has a really strong car. as for his performance throughout the year? well...there are some tracks where he is strong and there are some tracks where he is nowhere. his co-driver is James Moffat, the son of 4-time bathurst winner Allan Moffat. in 2019, he has shown his worth when Mostert pinned him up against the main game drivers and he was able to hold his own, despite the fact that he was a co-driver. I'd say he's got one of the best co-drivers in the field. I'd be surprised if they dont win the race this year.

    2wKfEme.jpg

then, we have Will Davison. in the last couple of rounds, he has improved and he has grabbed a couple of wins. IMO, He is a really good driver and he's won the great before. his co-driver is his brother alex davison. kinda ordinary in comparison to the other co-drivers in terms of pace. I believe he raced in the main-game from 2009 to 2013 before he became a co-driver from 2014 onwards. if there's one thing that car #17 is known for, it's reliability. if they stay out of trouble, they could be in with a chance to win it.

    Ch0PKNy.jpg

...and now, you've got the defectors: Walkinshaw Andretti United. if you havent been keeping up with the news, the FORMER factory holden will move to Ford next year. For the great race, Chaz Mostert will be paired with Fabian Coulthard and Nick Percat will be paired with Warren Luff. besides red bull / triple 8, I think they have the best co-drivers in the field. Fabian used to be a main-game driver and he used to drive for DJR. to have to main-game drivers in the one car is gonna give the defending bathurst winner a MASSIVE advantage. Warren Luff is a rock-solid co-driver that has finished on the podium multiple times. I expect one of them to be on the podium if not, both cars on the podium. as for their pace? well...chaz had a strong start to the season, but his lack of consistency and a couple of mistakes buried him in the pack. last year, his car was un-beatable. if there's one thing that WAU is known for, it's their track record at mount panorama. they perform extremely well at bathurst, so yeah. they have no excuse.

    za6F2FH.jpg

...and last but not least is Brodie Kostecki. In my book, they were definitely the 'dark horse' last year and it looked as if they were closing the gap to shell-v-power racing, red bull and tickford. unfortunately, it has been a pretty disappointing season for brodie. for the most part, they were mid-pack. yeah, they've had a lack of pace and that's what's really hurt them. HOPFEULLY, they'll have a really strong car for bathurst, cuz they have a really solid combination for the great race. his co-driver is David Russel. he was more than capable off keeping up with the main-game drivers and they managed to get onto the podium thanks to brodie pulling off some really impressive over-takes near the back end of the race.

you've also got the wild-card entry of greg murphy and richie stanaway, who I think is the most underrated V8 Supercars driver ever. if ya take a look back at 2017, he was without a doubt the best co-driver in the field, and if it wasnt for a couple of mistakes (not by him, of course), they could've won the bathurst 1000, the sunday race at the gold coast 600 and win the PIRTEK enduro cup. unfortunately, they gave him a really crappy car in 2018 and 2019, and then, he faded into obscurity. paired with 4 time bathurst winner greg murphy, ohh, they are a contender.

    GINZdUl.jpg

...and those are my picks for the great race. ^w^ ohh man, I cant wait!!! <3

    1. SolarFlare13

      SolarFlare13

Well, this came as a bit of a surprise. Todd Hazelwood will drive for BRT (Blanchard Racing Team) next year and will replace Tim Slade. IMO, he is a much better driver than Sladey. I know they've got a good car, but they've never been able to get the most out of it, cuz the (current) driver is...average at best. there have been numerous occasions where todd has finished inside the top 10. ^^
