Hey every-pony  ^^ how are we all doing today? 

How is everyone doing?

I dunno bout you, but I cant wait for easter.  ^^ last year, they had a couple of these large size Kinder Surprise easter eggs, and it came with a toy of the mane 6. (in case ur wondering, I got a toy of fluttershy)  ^^ 

I'm tempted to get 6 of them to see if I can get a toy of Applejack or Pinkie Pie (well, that's IF they're available.  we'll just have to wait and see. if not, I'll buy one just for the chocolate. it's SO hard to get a large amount of Kinder Surprise. y'know, it really makes me wonder WHY they dont just make a bar of chocolate. just thinking bout it makes me hungry!!! ohh man. IMO, Kinder Surprise is the best chocolate out there, right up with Lindt and Milky Bar!!!)

It's been almost three years since I last logged in, so I thought I might swing by and see how things were going...hope everypony is fine! Three years is avery long time span for things to happen...and boy, did they happen!
But what about y'all, pardners? How are you??

Hmm.. slow day at work. Time to do some studying! 

We recently got hold of some new swords and I've been trying to compile a research sheet for both. Management is considering giving the green light for events and presentations to start up again next month, and I'm hoping to include both of these in a talk.

The first we have is a Peterson Type VII replica. It's... fairly boring in terms of craftsmanship, and being a replica means it's obviously of no historical value in itself. Still, it's a good visual guide for educational purposes, and the kids just want me to swing it around for them (and sometimes even asking if they can play with it. I tell them no. )

The second is a bit more interesting, and was brought into us by a lady who found it in an old storage shed belonging to her late great-grandfather. This is the one I'm trying to identify, and I just can't figure it out! It has a very unique hilt that doesn't quite match others I've studied, but would suggest that it's post 15th century at least. Definitely in too good condition to be anything older. I'm thinking someone fought in a war and either had this as part of their armament or perhaps took it as a trophy. Kinda reminds me of what some calvary units might have used. 

Mr. Horse has some homework to do. 

y'know what I just realised?  my OC has the same colours as my favourite team in V8 Supercars A.K.A Shell V Power Racing / Dick Johnson Racing. that's awesome  what a coincidence. (their cars are mostly red and yellow thanks to the shell logo) 

originally, the colour of of the eyes was supposed to represent my favourite brand / manufacturer at the time (Holden), but that was back when I was a die-hard Holden fan. Now, it is supposed to represent my favourite team in motorsport. (which just so happens to have the same colours as my OC)  I think that is pretty cool =P

yeah, like I said before: my OC is supposed to represent all of the things that I like.  He is basically me in a nut-shell, and I dunno bout you, but I am genuinely proud of the design of my OC 

Well, that's interesting. Anton De Pasquale A.K.A the replacement for Scott McLaughlin will drive a Porsche in the dubai 24 hours  

(that is a pretty rock-solid entry. The Groves, one of the best V8 Supercar drivers in the field and a factory Porsche driver.)

Makes me wonder if he will contest the bathurst 12 hours next month

y’know, it’s good to see Anton do some endurance racing in the off-season. I’ll watch the race with great interest.  He really turned things around at eastern creek and he will be a title contender this year. to see him get past SVG LIVE was SO satisfying, and he did that TWICE!!!  Out of all the ford drivers, he is the only one that has the pace and the consistency to go up against triple 8.  heck, I cant wait to see him go up against the world 'n show 'em how it's done!!! 

Hey every-pony ^^ how are we all doing today?  y'know, I reckon we should've got more special episodes using the movies art-style. 'tis a shame they only used it in the movie and Rainbow Road-trip. (that is something I need to go back and watch. I've only seen it...once)  HOPEFULLY, we'll see it again in the future.

Well, they've just unveiled the new gen 3 mustang and...it looks more like a road car than a race car. this is what they'll be racing in 2023. (it was supposed to debut next year, but...yeah, COVD has had a massive impact)

the spoiler is certainly A LOT smaller than the one they currently use. I'd mistaken it for a road car. it's VERY small. makes me wonder if it's faster than the current V8 Supercars. So, they are obviously going back to their roots and they want to make it look more like a production car. I just hope it sounds a lot better.

...and they've also unveiled the gen 3 camaro. yeah, dont care bout that. they dont sell that car here in australia, GM no longer exists in this country, and according to GM, the camaro is gonna be dead in a couple of years. it has no marketing relevance here in Australia. it is completely pointless, UNLIKE the mustang. 

Speaking of the Mustang, Davey's gonna have a special livery for the Bathurst 1000, and it looks FANTASTIC!!! I cant wait to see more of it throughout the weekend. LOVE how it's got the Aussie flag on the side of it. VERY patriotic. I hope he wins the race!!! 

...and this is what Thomas Randle will have on his car in 2022. looks really nice.  pretty early to unveil a livery for next year, but...hey. I'm all for it. 

today is qualifying for the bathurst 1000. this will set the grid for the great race. anyone who is in the top 10 will move on the top ten shootout (which on the saturday) and that will determine who will be on the first five rows of the grid. of course, it doesnt really matter where you start, but it's best to start somewhere near the front so you dont get caught in the chaos that unfolds mid-pack. the great race is on this sunday. ^^

EDIT: Okay, unfortunately, I wont be able to watch the bathurst 1000 on Kayo. Yeah, it's locked behind a pay-wall. figures. yeah, I was unable to watch the first two practice sessions yesterday, so I had to look up the results and see who was on top. Fortunately, channel 7 will broadcast the rest of the sessions LIVE. Also, this will be the first time I'll be watching it on 7. prior to this, I was watching it on Kayo, for obvious reasons.

Well, the final round of the Sydney cup is coming up. the good news is, my favourite driver (David Reynolds) has just received his 2nd dose and he will be able to participate.  F*CK YEAH!!! 

I was a lil worried bout this, ‘cuz the replacement they had for the bathurst 1000 was…chris van de drift. Yeah, that would’ve been a piss-weak combination for the great race if davey was unable to get his 2nd dose. (Yeah, he was absent in the last two events at eastern creek). At this point, this is preparation for the bathurst 1000. Now, I can say these guys are in with a shot to win the bathurst 1000 in two weeks time. 

According to Speedcafe.com, he was supposed to get / receive his 2nd dose prior to the Bathurst 1000. The fact that he’ll be able to compete this weekend is just the icing on the cake.

...and when ya consider his co-driver (Luke Youlden) has already had two rounds under his belt, he’s already got an edge over the other co-drivers. (…and what’s funny is, there’s a co-driver session this Friday. It’ll be interesting where he ends up in that session) These guys WON the Bathurst 1000 in 2017, and I have NO doubt in my mind they’re gonna take it up to the heavyweights.
