hey every-pony ^^ how are we all doing today? :3

Well, this has come as a bit of shock. :O  apparently, they are making a sequel to godzilla VS kong, and guess what? it's gonna be filmed in...Australia. Yeah, mate!!!!!! Now, that is really good to see. y'know, it's kinda funny. last year, I didnt really want to see Godzilla VS Kong 'cuz I wasnt a huge fan of the monsterverse (cuz most of the fight scenes was filmed in the dark and you could hardly see what was going on) but cuz they were passing out vouchers and they gave me a $25 voucher to go and see a movie, I might as well and I did not regret it. it has some of the best fight scenes in the entire franchise. I'm really excited to see the sequel.  

Now, this does raise some questions: what are they gonna put godzilla up against!? I like to think it could possibly be mecha king ghidorah considering they got the skulls of it and the metal carcass of mechagodzilla, but I'd honestly would like to see either Gigan or Destroyah make an appearance in the monsterverse. what's funny is, I just came back from JB-HI-FI and I bought myself a DVD of Godzilla VS Kong not too long ago and I intend to watch it in a couple of hours. I tell ya, when you look past COVID and the war between ukraine and russia and the fact that everything is going up, there is A LOT of HYPE!!!  pokemon scarlet and violet, ghost rider 50th anniversary, and now, this  As a Goji fan, I'm SUPER hyped bout this!!! ^^

Okay, let's take a look at my wish list so far for 2022. ^^ okay, so I'm still having trouble deciding which SH MonsterArts figure I wanna get. I just watched Godzilla Final Wars with a friend of mine and I watched Godzilla VS Kong a couple of weeks ago. if you want my honest opinion, I’d say GvK is better than Final Wars. 

I have a spare $470 lying around, but I'm saving that for my key-board. (yeah, there’s a couple of keys on my key-board that need to be replaced and unfortunately, they cant replace the keys that are faulty. they have to replace the whole thing. Yeah, it’s pretty expensive, I know.) I think I got $370 from my parents last year ($150 for my birthday and $220 for christmas) 

I mean, yes. I do have the Mechagodzilla 2021 funko pop, but I really wanna get my hands on an SH MonsterArts. I dunno. A part of me says I should save my money but then again, between now and september, there isnt really anything that I wanna buy. I am no longer interested in star wars or transformers. the only other thing I wanna get is a plushie of the fire starter for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. I'll probably use my savings for that. 

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet wont be coming out til November, the 50th anniversary of Ghost Rider is not til August (IF they do release a figure of ghost rider, I'll probably use my savings to buy it.)

the point I'm trying to make is I wanna get an SH MonsterArts figure that I like, rather than an SH MonsterArts figure that a lot of other people like, but I'm kinda neutral towards it, but at the same time, I dont wanna break the bank. (yeah, that SH MonsterArts Mechagodzilla is roughly $370!!! Final Wars Goji is $160.) 

there's also another thing I need to take into consideration. With the war between Ukraine and Russia, everything is going up. it's not gonna get any cheaper. I mean, take a look at all of the 1:18 scale diecast models that we have here in Australia. in the past, (2017 - 2018) they were roughly $182 - $195. Now, they are $250 because of COVID19!!! ...yeah...if I wanna get something, I need to get it now before it's too late. 

I COULD use that money to go and buy myself a Nintendo Switch / Switch Lite, but then I have to buy a screen-protector ($15 - $20) a case ($20 - $50), and the warranty (I have no idea how much that would be but I know that would certainly add to the cost. I'm gonna assume it's $100 if you want a 2 year warranty), and when you add all of that to the price, it'll be well over $400 - $500 + I already have a switch lite. if they DO make a switch lite that has better battery life, I'll take that into consideration. for me, the Nintendo Switch is WAY too expensive and if you ask me, it's not worth it. 

As for diecast models, I dont really have any space for them. UNLESS it is the 1984 Masterton Homes Falcon, David Reynolds wins a race this year and I get to see it LIVE on Kayo / 7, a Ford WINS the bathurst 1000 OR Rowe racing wins the Nurburgring 24 hours / the 24 hours of spa, I'm not gonna get a diecast model this year. 

...and that's pretty much it. there's a part of me that wants to save my money just in case if SH MonsterArts releases 84goji or they do a re-issue of Burning G / Kiryu, but I dont think that's gonna happen.

I could spend that extra $470 on a brand new keyboard OR I save it for a brand new laptop. In total, I got bout $840. Is it enough to buy a brand new laptop? Yes. Is it enough to buy a brand new gaming laptop? No. not even close. 

So, what do you reckon? should I save what I’ve got for a brand new gaming laptop or spend what I got last year on that SH MonsterArts Mechagodzilla?  this is a figure that I really wanna get, but I'm kinda iffy bout the price...  maybe you can help me out here, @Samurai Equine

Since the new starters were revealed. It's reminded me of Pokemon that have become my favorites over the years. Even as the teams change throughout the games, some favorites will always remain. What is everyone's favorite(s) in the Pokemon series?

My first team that were mostly Pokemon that I'd use for battling if I was in the Pokemon games and anime. Along with how my OC's original design. (Drawing made by @StormBlaze ^^

Well, the 2022 V8 Supercars season is bout to get underway. the first round of the championship will be held at eastern creek. 

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with all the liveries. they all look exactly the same as last years. Yes, I understand they're all preparing for gen 3, but I really would've liked to have seen something new, for once.

I'll be watching the race on the telly. for those of you who are living outside of Australia, it has been raining since the last week of February and the majority of New South Wales is under flood waters. yep, it's pretty bad here in Australia. According to the weather forecast, it says it'll continue to rain til the end of the week. after that, the forecast says there'll be a 70% chance of rain. they say it's almost as bad as last year. here's a pic I took from last year. this is near the end of Windsor:

this used to be a road. now, it's a river. this was the aftermath of the 2021 Floods. what's scary is this is only 20 mins away from where we live.

I wouldnt be surprised if the road is completely blocked off...again. yep, we're in an extremely dangerous situation. the good news is that we're on a hill, so we dont have to worry bout evacuating. I still cant believe this happened again in march. this concerns me...

I honestly be surprised if they'll be able to race this weekend, especially on the sunday where the weather forecast says there'll be a 95% of rain. (the last time it was raining at eastern creek, the race was red flagged. they did a couple of laps behind the safety car and that's it.) I was thinking bout buying tickets to go and watch the first race of the season, but I decided not to for three reasons:

A. the case numbers. thanks to the idiots who are running this country, they've allowed tourists to enter the country. that's why the case numbers have gone up in the recent past. f*ck the bloody tourists. keep them OUT of this country FFS!!! 
B. since it's the first round of the championship, they'll be a lot of people attending.
C. the weather. Thanks to Kayo, I'm able to watch the FOX SPORTS coverage for FREE.

Hey every-pony  ^^ how are we all doing today? 

So, as I got to break. I saw the Pokémon direct and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s cool that we are getting Duraludon for Unite as I like that Pokémon from Gen 8. Legends Arceus getting an update is cool, but I didn’t expect generation 9 to be announced. I’m not sure what the region the game is based off of or the gimmicks for the game, but the graphics look really cool. Some of the Pokémon looked really polished within the trailer, as well.

I really like the starters that we got, but I’m undecided at the moment of who I’m going to choose. If I had to make a decision right now, then it would be the grass cat. All in all, the direct did not disappoint and I’m really looking forward to what generation 9 has to offer.

Went on another late night outing with Applejack tonight.  Got her some apples this time, and went to my workplace.  

I think she enjoyed them.  She’s good at balancing an applestack on her back.  I’ll give her that.
