TOKUSATSU MUSIC HIGHLIGHT:
"M87" by Kenshi Yonezu.

Even the title is a deep cut. 
Shin Ultraman goes back to the beginning, but with the best CGI possible to really bring home that alien hero feel, and a more grounded story as oppose to the high-concept scifi material of the original series. The only thing these two productions seem to have in common, besides the monsters, is that this Ultra is very much designed after the original and is tied to other legendary Ultras as well. Despite the differences, the movie is a heavy trip and a real treat, and this theme song is a perfect compliment to it.

missed first 30 minutes because ofd my unwanted long sleep after struggling too sleep first -.- but the good part happened anyway in the ed, so close too the win arh!

Red Bull: Verstappen wins again, but just barely! he actually have too go fast to win and not cruising too victory. Perez in the end got into the points as 8th.

Mercedes: 6th and 7th in the end, Russell with the fastest lap. Still not where they want too be.

Ferrari: no tifosi-dream, but Leclerc at least got on the podium. Sainz finished 5th. after a strong start for Sainz in this season, the table seems too turn now in Leclerc's favour.

McLaren: Lando missing out on his 2nd win just by 0.725 seconds! but there on Red Bull by now, hopefully. Piastri making up a position and finishes 4th, getting more points then Ferrari.

Aston Martin: Alonso with a unusual lackluster weekend finishes last. only Albon, who had problems and retired eventually was behind him. Stroll on the other hand for once got points again as 9th.

Alpine: only 14th and 16th this race, nt the best result, especially after getting a point last race.

Williams: Albon out, Sargeant not last at least, beating Bottas and Alonso.

VCARB: after starting both in top 10, only Tsunoda as 10th managed too get another point, Ricciardo falling behind both Haas.

Stake Kick: Bottas far behind, Zhou as 15th also not close for points. Still a 0.

Haas: 11th and 12th, missing just out on points this weekend. Still definitly better then their prediction at the start of 2024.

wow!!!  how long has it been since the forums went down!? I wonder what was the cause of it?  oh well, I'm glad to be back on  So anyways, how are we all doing today? :3

I had to type up what I'm gonna say for my forum-versary and my OC's birthday on a word document while I was waiting for the forums to go back up. oh well, at least I got those things out of the way 

Well, I'm pretty excited that I'll get to see my very first Monaco Grand Prix in two weeks time. I really hope somebody OTHER than Max Verstappen wins this race.  ngl, it becomes extremely boring when the same driver keeps winning all the time, which is partially the reason why I've kinda stopped watching V8 Supercars. Red Bull / Triple 8 / GM / Chevrolet keeps "winning" all the time and they're not doing anything about it. it's an absolute joke. when GM wins, it's okay. when Ford wins, 'oh, lets nerf the cars'. it's bloody ridiculous. Me personally, I think Mclaren has got the pace to beat Red Bull, if they play their cards right. well, one can only hope 

In other news, I am happy that I'll be getting my very first Transformers Masterpiece. I always wanted one of these in my collection, but they were just too expensive. luckily, I had enough money to buy one.

hey guys. just dropped by to say hello ^w^ if you wanna know what I've been up to, I've been watching the Eurovision song contest and I'm happy that Croatia managed to get into the final. (I am half croatian from my dads side) I am not surprised Australia failed to qualify. I watched the music video BEFORE I watched the first semi final and I knew it was gonna be shit compared to last years performance. so yeah, I'm not surprised that they failed to qualify. A LOT of people have been saying Croatia are the favourites to win this years eurovision song contest. I hope they win. that'd be AMAZING!!! 

 I also liked Finland's performance. if you take away the performance and just listen to the music, it's eurobeat, which is MY kind of music. Ireland's entry was f**ed up. it's definitely the weirdest entry so far. XD but yeah, nah. I'm having an absolute blast watching this years eurovision song contest ^^

this month is also the anniversary of my OC. man, I cant believe it's been 8 years since I made my OC. that is incredible. ^w^ 

...and last but not least, I only recently got access to Formula 1 and I've watched some of the races this year.  I'm sure @Deae Rising Shine~ and @Tacodidra will be delighted to hear about this. maybe you guys can tell me some of the other stand-out events other than the monaco grand prix. ^^ I can't wait for the Monaco Grand prix. I know that is a really popular event and that is the biggest event on the F1 calendar. This will be my first time watching the Monaco Grand Prix. If ya wanna know who is my favourite driver? well...it's Oscar Piastri simply cuz he's the leading Aussie. I'm still waiting for Oscar Piastri to win his first grand prix ^^ Whoever's driving for Ford next year, I will support them as well.

What can I say ,much as a McLaren fan then: LANDOOO FOR THE WIIIIN! <3 Poor Piastri tough...isn't it the 2nd time Sainz ruined his race? Tsk tsk...

Red Bull: Verstappen wins...waiiit, he didn't! With that, the season is already less dominant then 2023...as 2 races where won now by a non-RB driver. Still 2ndd tough and possible damage. A rare mistake ridden weekend for Verstappen. Perez only ends up 5th, but got lucky Sainz got a penalty and gained 4th. Red Bull certainly looks back on the Sprint this weekend.

Mercedes: After a horrendous Sprint, the main race made up a bit with beeing 6th and 8th. Still far from where they want too be.

Ferrari: Leclerc despite basically no training finish on the podium, Sainz only gained a penalty.

McLaren: Lando gettig finally his first(of many?) victory, giving the team there only 2nd win in 10 years(Ricciardo Italy 2021). Piastri fighting good, but got unfortunate with Sainz. he did end up getting the fastest lap and fought back too 13th, but fastest lap only gives a point, if your in the points. which he wasn't

Aston Martin: Alonso fighting too 9th for some points this weekend. Stroll not so much, crashing out in the Sprint and gained a penalty in the race.

Alpine: Ocon bumps the first point for Alpine this year. yes, i know we are in the 7th race, they are really that bad so far. Gasly, who seemed better this weekend then Ocon, almost scoring a point too in the sprint only finish 12th in the end. Ocon seems too be the number 1 currently this year in the team.

Williams: Sargeant got a point! ...if sprint would gives out a point for 10th. in the race he got wiped out by Magnussen at home grounds unfortunalty. looked too be one of the better weekends from him, which he needs if he still wants too drive next year.

VCARB: Ricciardo with a sensational 4th place scoring his first points this year, in the main race not looking good tough. Tsunoda getting lucky a point in the Sprint and performed much better again in the main race, scoring points there too. the team slowly creeps up too an almost constant point scorer now.

Stake Kick: With Williamsd still the only team now without points yet. not looking so well.

Haas: Magnussen collectiing penalties instead of points, actually close too a race ban now(Would be the first since Grosjean 2012). Hülkenberg scoring points in the soprint but just misses out in the end in the main race as 11th. Also almost a constant points scorer, for the supposed worst team this year.

Man, I got goosebumps watching this!!!

I really do hope they make this the darkest godzilla movie, ever. y'know, I was having a bit of a rant about shin godzilla and how it had the potential of being the darkest godzilla movie if they'd skipped all of the political mumbo jumbo and just had its 4th form right out of the gate and those 'things' coming out of his tail pop up throughout the movie, turning it into a zombie apocalypse. not only would it made it more interesting, but it also would've made it more terrifying. it wouldnt just be the threat of godzilla they'd have to deal with, but they'd also have to deal with those godzilla-human-xenomorph-hybrids, and the only way they can stop them is to stop godzilla, BUT that's just me nit-picking. I've always been a fan of the more darker and serious godzilla films. that's why I enjoy watching godzilla vs destroyah and godzilla 1984. I've said to before and I'll say it again, and I may be a lil biased when I say this, but I always prefer the japanese godzilla films over the monsterverse. ohh man, I cant wait for them to release a subbed version of this.

When I was taking a look at the kids channel, I noticed that Nickelodeon and Nick Jr has been removed from Foxtel. At first, I thought it was because some streaming service bought it out. (just like what happened to National Geographic and the Simpsons a couple of months ago. f*ck you Disney)  Turns out, channel 10 has bought the rights to broadcast it LIVE AND FREE. that's awesome. I think this is the first time that a free-TV network managed to buy the rights / buy something that was originally from a paid subscription. I didnt know that was possible, considering the viewer ratings on FreeView. 

I have...mixed emotions about this. the bad news is I wont be able to record any of the stuff that is on there since it is NOT on a channel that is on foxtel. (it was previously on a channel called 10Shake. it's one of the many clones that they have on Australian television. It had a couple of cartoons that were originally on Nickelodeon)

the good news is once I've cleaned up my room and we get the Yaris, and we're able to find a Sony TV that is the same size as the one that my dad bough from Aldi all those years ago, I'll be able to watch it anytime I want. this is the news that I wanted to hear  I've been recently watching Nickelodeon just for the hell of it and there's a couple of cartoons that have caught my interest. as a matter of fact, I watch it more than Cartoon Network and Boomerang. I am starting to notice that Foxtel is starting to fall apart, and that is really disappointing. National Geographic is gone, The Simpsons is gone, apparently, MTV is gone and if you wanna watch the V8 Supercars, just create an account on Kayo instead of paying $50 a month. there might be a few rounds where they wont broadcast the sunday race, but at the very least, they'll broadcast the saturday race LIVE and you can just watch the highlights of the sunday race. there's also a couple of rounds they'll broadcast LIVE and FREE on 7, so yeah. there's that. UNLESS you wanna watch something like NASCAR, baseball, darts, Formula 1, Rugby A.K.A FAKE football or something like that, then yes. you need FOX SPORTS. 

but yeah, back to Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. for the longest time, I have been complaining about the lack of entertainment on FreeView. the only thing that is on there is re-runs and ads, ads and more ads. there is nothing new. that is what has ultimately put me off from watching FreeView altogether. (especially the adverts. at this point, I dont even know why they exist) Prior to this, I was hesitant about clearing up some space in my room so I can make room for a flat-screen TV. the only other channels on FreeView that I watch are 9GO!, ABCME, 7mate, SBS and all of their counterparts. that's it. 

9GO! broadcasts cartoons in the early hours of the morning. they used to broadcast cartoons in the afternoon, but they've stopped doing that, unfortunately. sometimes, they'll put a Pokemon movie on the weekend, just for the heck of it. it's mostly re-runs of the pokemon anime and stuff I've seen on foxtel. not really much to see other than maybe care bears and the latest version of the yu-gi-oh anime. there's also that 9Rush channel that just recently opened up that's got A LOT of automotive related stuff on it. might be worth checking it out every once in a while. 

ABCME has A LOT of...'average' cartoons on there. most of 'em I've never heard of. what's cool is they do broadcast anime on friday nights and between 12PM - 2PM on the saturday. I like watching anime, but the stuff they're broadcasting is not something I'd be interested in. 

7mate has some funny junk on there sometimes, like Hardcore Pawn, Housos and on rare occasions, Tattoo master, and the occasional movie every once in a while (they only recently started doing this).

SBS is probably the one that I watch the most. it's got A LOT of interesting stuff on there, mainly documentaries and some really colorful movies on there such as Asterix and Obelix, Kung Fu Hustle, some Bruce Lee movies if you're lucky, some martial arts movies and a lot of underrated films.

Bottom line is, I just want a channel on FreeView that only broadcasts cartoons 24-7. I might be a grown man, but I'm still a kid at heart and I'd rather watch cartoons than any of the junk that people watch nowadays. 

EDIT: okay, taking a look at the Freeview TV guide online...yeah. it's been hit hard. Idk whether or not they'll make some significant changes, but before Nick was removed from Foxtel, it had stuff like Baby Shark from 2:30PM to 3:30PM, The MiddleMost Post (when they were broadcasting new episodes) from 1:30PM to 2PM), The Loud House from 12:10PM to 2PM, and again at 4:15PM to 5PM, The Casagrande's from 11:10AM to 12:10PM, and the two of them from 7:30PM to 8:30PM, and in the early hours of the morning from 3:25AM to 4:25AM. now, it's been significantly reduced. Baby Shark at 8:30AM, one episode of MiddleMost Post at 2:30PM and one episode of The Casagrande's at 4:15PM. it's not until you get to the weekend where you get double episodes of The Loud House and The Casagrande's between 12PM to 2PM. It is a bit of a bitter pill to swallow, but hey. At least I can watch it in my room. that's a plus ^^ I just hope it stays on FreeView, and NO greedy, corporate streaming service gets their hands on it.

Y’know, it’s really difficult to find any kind of Zipp Storm merch, or any G5 merch for that matter.  I have been recently out and about, looking through the toy section and most of the toys that are on the wiki…are unavailable. I’d like to get a simple, 3.75 inch figure of Zipp or even a funko pop, but…it seems they’re either sold out or they haven’t made one…yet. I don’t know whether it’s because G5 is not as popular as FIM (I will admit: the plot for generation 5 is all over the place, especially for new-comers. You start off with the movie, then a number of episodes of tell your tale, then a special, a couple of episodes after that, ANOTHER special, etc. I hope the MLP wiki makes an update so it makes it easier for them to keep up with the plot) or the simple fact that they’ve never brought it to Australia (I wanted to get a Guardians Of Harmony Discord statue back in the day in order to complete the set, but it never came to Australia…for some reason), but I’d really like to get hands on a Zipp figure / plushie.

besides that, I cant decide what to get for christmas. it's between these two:

Y'know, there's a part of me that wants the fandom to make a fan-made MLP game based on generation 5. at this point, they've shown off a lot of different places and me personally, I'd really like it if it was an MMO similar to Legends Of Equestria. as far as MLP fan-made MLP games based on generation 5 is concerned, I havent seen any of em made for the time being. it is something I'd really like to see in the future :O what do you guys think? I know that we recently got an MLP G5 game for the switch. the gameplay was rather simple. for those of you who dont know, this is the part of the fandom that got me into My Little Pony. well, besides the show and fan-made youtube clips, of course. 

just to kill two birds with one stone and so I dont have to make another post, I am happy that the ford mustangs are getting an aerodynamic upgrade in the next round of the V8 Supercars Championship. well, it's about time. So far, chevrolet has won every single race this year and the fords have been struggling. y'know, I think it's kinda funny how we're on the right end of the schtick. in 2019, the ford teams were on the receiving end when it comes to parity. they made the wing smaller and added a NASCAR lip spoiler to the back of the ZB commodores. now, we've got that on the gen 3 mustangs :O 

they've also added a SLIGHTLY bigger lip spoiler and different wing plates.

I've been doing some comparisons with the old spoiler and...yep, I can see the changes they've made. I really hope this serves them well from this point onwards. Chaz Mostert is the ONLY Ford that is in the hunt for the championship and he's had to fight for it. HOPEFULLY, Ford can get their first win of the season. At the time I'm posting this, he is 179 points away from the championship lead and 69 points behind Van Gisbergen. I really, REALLY hope he gets ahead of that d*ck-head and puts him down to 5th in the championship. Speaking of Chaz Mostert, he WON the 24 hours of Spa in his class / in PRO-AM last weekend ON DEBUT. that is pretty impressive!!! well done mate!!!  I wish you all the best for this weekend  

but yeah, that's the reason why I haven't been posting that much V8 Supercars content. it's been a bit of a dry spell for the blue oval. well, that and the fact that it's not exactly relevant, but hey. this is something that interests me and I know there is multiple other users that like to talk about other different sports that interest them. =P I know there's one that likes to talk about F1 and posts the results of the race. :3

...and yes, for those of you who dont know, the eurovision song contest is next month, and these are the guys that'll be representing us on the world stage. now THAT's what I'm talking about. I dont think it'll beat hard rock hallelujah from 2006 or dark side from 2021, but we certainly need more metal bands / rock concerts in eurovision. just saying.
