My reply for Friendship Melody:
"Friendship Melody" has become one of my favorite rhythm-based games. Recently, I played the main version, which I usually enjoy, but without any audio playing, even when I turned up the volume.
However, when I tried version B, I was thrilled to hear the songs in action. This version completely transformed my experience. My favorite track is definitely "The Magic of Friendship Grows". I was amazed by the concept of being able to play while listening to music at the same time.
Memorizing the charts is challenging while playing on Normal mode, especially when I aim for a perfect combo. This game ranks among my all-time favorites, and I’m giving it a perfect score of 10/10(!*). I highly recommend it for anyone looking to test their timing and focus.
Spoiler* Avoid getting factorial'd up to 3,628,800.

Aww hello hello! I'm so happy you enjoyed the game!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I really appreciate it
That's good I made that alternate version then, otherwise it would be such a shame if it didn't work for you.
I probably should make the B version the main one, given the original with high quality audio files got too problematic. I'll be still trying to find a better solution in future updates.
Aiming for perfect combo on normal mode? That is indeed a challenge, how did it go for you?
Thank you very much for playing! You're such a nice person

In the end, it probably is both. The main version uses high quality audio format, that is widely supported by pretty much all commonly used browsers, but because it's a high quality format, the file size is insanely larger compared to other compressed audio formats.
That filesize is probably why the server struggles to provide these files. I used that audio format only because of browser support. The B version uses compressed, much lighter audio format, and while it doesn't seem to be a problem for MLPF server, it just won't work on Apple devices.
At the end of the day, support for Apple devices is the problem here. Apple is very picky with audio formats, otherwise I'd just use only the compressed audio format.
Generally at the moment:
Main version uses FLAC = better audio quality, works on all commonly used browsers, but there are problems with loading
Version B uses OGG = okay audio quality, works on "all" but Apple devices, doesn't seem to cause problems with loading
