  1. Excellent points gentlemen, very convincing indeed, a nice balanced blend of personality traits and character involvement in the show, I must say I can certainly see the push to increase votes for these characters is working, bravo for the wonderful effort, now then, I only see it as fair that I should do the same or at least try to achieve such a level of fact based influence for my pony of choice.

But well.. it's not called "Private Messages

Correct, There is absolutely no mention of them being private whatsoever, in fact, I recall users and even staff members referring to them as "Personal Messages" the little technicality implying that yes, they are between two or more select people but like any personal conversation can be, shall we say, listened in on, this is obviously never done with malicious intent by the staff members, but again to monitor for anything in violation of the guidelines, and as Path said:

Shouldn't PM's be only visible to staff when reported by one of participants

A good example for you is NSFW roleplaying conducted through the messaging system, you can imagine that none involved would report what they are wilfully doing, therefor some form of investigation must be made in order to find and stop such things, to have the highest ranking staff unable to access part of the forum is in my opinion not practical when considering the above.

  3. The PM system is a service offered by and run through MLP Forums, as such it is subject to all of the same rules.
All PM's can be accessed by administrators and I believe moderators as well to monitor for any sort of infringements to those rules, There is a "Report reply" option available on the posts of a PM that can be used to notify staff of any transgressions, things like NSFW media or harassment, should you wish to share anything that could be considered a violation of the forum rules it is advised that you make use of other services.

    TLDR: Yes.

    - And, last but not least, does this website ever hold any kind of events, or are people allowed to have art Commissions up on This site?

    Spoiler

Both, there are events, sometimes the prize being a voucher for commissions which the site does also support, you may set up a shop or purchase art here.
For inquiries about starting up a shop to sell artwork I believe it is best to consult one of our deerest administrators @PathfinderCS. Via Personal Message.

  6. I have been building fences with a family friend for almost a year now, in such a time I have learned things about fences and woodwork in general that I never knew or would never have even thought about that would help me when it comes to having my own fence built later on on life, that got me thinking, and quite interested in what other useful advice you guys have gained from your jobs or other means that could help other people out when in the customer position.

In regards to fences, I advise you don't paint them, I understand the visual appeal for something like a white painted fence but unfortunately the paint traps water in and rots the wood, similar can be said for metal fencing which rusts rather quickly because of water getting inside of them, both lasting only a number of years before needing to be repaired or completely replaced, oppose to something like treated pinewood posts, the ones we use are guaranteed to last at least 40 years.

  7. Oh my, what is this ^_^

Its seems the majority view a curvy backside with great favour but I insist that when going off what is most appealing to the eye, flat (optionally sloped) is far superior~

There is no possible way I could take this as a general discussion seriously and I simply had to post, I do apologise. xD
