    I'm back, everypony, and I totally crushed my first day at the Taekwondo dojo! They didn't have air conditioning today so I had to walk home drenched in sweat. But regardless, THAT FELT GREAT!

      Oh, I'm terribly sorry to hear that.. I'm sure he was a valued teacher and friend to you. He must have been truly influential in the lives of many to carry a title like that. Forgive my curiosity bringing up old wounds for you.

      He was the father I never had... He said I was his favorite student and even brought a Rainbow Dash plushie into the dojo as a symbol of affection. He showed me tender kindness that my real father never showed me. I really don't mean to squawk, but I feel guilty that I felt greater affection towards him than my actual father. It's been eating me alive ever since and I haven't told anyone about how I feel. Especially not my parents...

      I understand, and I appreciate you sharing this with me. The important thing is that you carry on his memory and continue your training in a way that he would be proud of. If he was such a positive influence on your life, then I think the best thing you can do is continue to share that positivity and give others who may be struggling a chance to find their purity of heart too. Even the smallest of actions can have long lasting impacts after all, and you never know just how much a small act of kindness can help somebody get through life. Your Sensei obviously helped you through yours when others would turn away. :)
