Ah yes, the month of 20. Janufebtoberly. Best month of the year. 

I disagree my samurai friend. The best month is obviously Janufebrapritoberary.

Logic has flown out the window, Steve. What we are entering here is... Confusion.

 Y'see, Disharmony & Chaos are different things themselves. The former is when people don't agree, but then there's when loads of people over the year start believing in things in progressively more askew ways to the point where we view this new, nonsensical norm as weird when its done logically! 

 What I think happened is that peeps started putting down just the month & day. Because the year changes slower so you can assume that part of it. And, of course, bigger should go first (this is America after all) so it became Month, Day, and if you feel like it, Year. 

 Then we get peeps goin' "Well this is how i've always done it, therefore this IS ordered, so what you're doing must not be ordered!" 

 Confusion is when all paths are equally both right & wrong. Niether side really matters... but its been going on for so long that yeah, now it does matter! 

Confusion is believing these lil' flippity slips of green cloth-paper actually connect to any semblence of physical worth... and then even phasing that out for microchip cards that just make numbers go all reliably screwy when you shove it in certain holes. Then somehow attaching mental worth to what those numbers come up as. You don't so much save up money as "I dunno, this chunk of plastic says I can have a house now."
