Call me what you want, but this is something i wanna see.
I was speaking with a couple of users about school daze, yesterday, and i thought of something.
What about we have an episode about a pony whos afraid of making friends? Or even better, someone who hides their true personality to adopt a different one in order to make friends?
I know this issue hits close to home for a lot of people, but it would be a interesting episode to watch, in my opinion.

Actually, Moondancer for most of her episode was mad at Twilight because she didn't show show up at a get-together after attempting to come out of her shell. That doesn't sound exactly what Sylveon was suggesting.
Personally I think there should be an episode with a specific plot where Pony A is afraid of making Friends because they're afraid of eventually saying or doing something that would make their potential friends hate Pony A forever. And I'm speaking from personal experience.
