So if it's a mere crush, it can be a passenger feeling, ask yourself for how long have you been feeling it and its intensity through the time. If it's more like love towards someone, that feeling won't simply "fade away", if anything, unless the other person does something very stupid and/or is taken, it will only get stronger with time.

I know how to be serious, you should be aware of that by now, you just don't seem to poke that side of me as often as you are able to poke it
