    My mom just kicked me off of my game because I told her not to tell me when to go to bed because my brain would do the opposite.
    She was like, “You don’t get to tell me what to do, 'for the right reasons!'”

    That's not fair! I was trying to be HELPFUL! I even proved my point by going to bed anyway, despite being kicked off my game. So I guess I had to take a hit to psychologically hit her back.

      Yeah sorry, though you got what I mean. Perhaps confronting them with how badly they make you mad is a way to make them understand they're pushing you to the edge
