Well then... After seeing Godzilla II, I must say...
It was enjoyable enough.
It was everything I anticipated it would be, for better and for worse. I expected incredible special effects and monster battles, and received those. On the other and, I also didn't expect the central conflict of the film to be terribly compelling, even if talented actors were present.
I had a very enjoyable afternoon either way, and I don't regret seeing it at all. I do somewhat wish this film could have been The Dark Knight of kaiju films... but I suppose the film has not come for that yet.

Just don't expect too much form it, and you should have a lovely time with it.
