  1. Pinkie Pie
    As the balloon touched the ground, Pinkie stepped out alongside Starlight and headed towards the others. All the while, fiddling around with the Cupcake-inator in the hopes of restoring it for future cupcake party use. At the mention of her name, Pinkie's eyes darted from the Cupcake-inator to the group, before darting from participant to participant. "It was true! My Pinkie Senses were going all haywire. From one shivery shake to a twitchy tail, to my hooves feeling all wobbly to even more shivery shakes! It was as if someone had their own kind of sense like Cheese Sandwich and his Cheesy Sense! I guess this is more of a Competition Sense of sorts as they must have prepared the race the way it did!" Pinkie exclaimed, pondering on the moment briefly, before ultimately giggling at the thought. "Nah! Although, it was rather strange for the race to turn out the way it did. I was even there with Dynamo, Dashie, Starlight and others making sure to have everything planned the way it was meant to go. Looks like a last minute change in plans is something that's always unexpected. Even though the weather tried to rain on the fun parade. I wish I could have tried to find out who was involved with trying to make the race go the way it did. Perhaps we could have made a compromise, or tried to talk things out, or maybe have a compromise party to try and have everything and all of the best to both worlds!" Pinkie says, looking down at her cupcake cannon with a proud smile. "It's a good thing that we had the Cupcake-inator when we did! If not, then it would have been a disaster of everypony trying to make their way through that crazy maze. Now I just need to take this cannon back with me to the drawing board and see if I can get it running once more!"

    Upon hearing that the race was nearing it's conclusion, Pinkie gave a cheer as she launched her party cannon full of confetti sky high into the air. "Woohoo!!!! Talk about a stunning conclusion for an over the top, cupcake filled, amazing, super duper race every~!" Pinkie exclaimed, giggling as she looked over to the finish line alongside Starlight. Only to find that the finish line seems incomplete without the use of a finish line tape. "I wonder if that random shivering I felt earlier was somehow that sort of doozy I was worried about." Pinkie pondered, uncertain with all of the doozies that were transpiring throughout the race. Looking down towards the rest of the racer's, the pink party mare had watched as some of the participants were improvising on their entrance to the finish line. "Priscilla is racing alongside Samurai and Roswell, while Shiny Silvermoon is making a hop, step and a jump to the finish. Hearing her give a yippee makes me want to yell a yippee, too! In fact, YIPPEE!!!!" Pinkie exclaimed with a grin and a squee as she continued to monitor the race alongside Starlight. "In a stunning turn of events, it looks like Samurai stopped just short of the finish line and is letting Priscilla, Roswell and Moonlight to cross before him. I think that really shows good sportsmanship and a form of unity with all of the obstacles that they all made their way through this race together! Not only that, but this lets Moonlight appear in with some style! Using some of the fireworks to use as a sort of backdrop to further add onto his pose and entrance! I was wondering where I put those fireworks as I felt that was a great way to end the race." She smiled, happy to know where the missing fireworks had been and that they had gone to a great plan.

    While Pinkie was eating bing the race unfold alongside Starlight, Moushley and Socrate, the pink party mare had taken a deep breath, before exhaling softly and smiling widely. “I just love the sight and smell of leaves falling in the morning. It’s not just the one swift kick from Dusk Haven, but so many others are adding their own flare! Roswell just gave a powerful kick, following it up with a very impressive acrobatic aerial maneuver! I have to give that a ten out of ten! WOOHOO!!!” Pinkie exclaimed, holding up a card with the number ten on it. After a moment, the card was plated back in the balloon basket as Pinkie jumped back into the commentary. “Even Samurai is bouncing from tree to tree in what looks like a pinball! Talk about a super, ultimate combo! Not only that, but Moonlight is jumping on the branches and shaking the leaves down, while also using his tail to shake the branches and hang upside down! A creative and effective strategy! Keep it up everypony!”

    "I hear you, Starlight! I've seen my fair share of tackle hugs. A number of them were from me, after all!" Pinkie giggled, nodding in agreement as she looked down at the competitors. "However, it's reassuring to see that feelings were mended and that everypony is together again!" Pinkie grinned as she looked down to take notice of Moushley, who was brought back up to the hot air balloon with Socrate. Seeing the sorrowful expression on Moushley's face caused Pinkie to frown in worry. "Oh, please don't be sad, Moushley. I really appreciated your assistance in getting my Cupcake-inator. I think it's time we take a little bit of matters into our own hooves." Smiling at the offered strawberry lollipop, the pink party mare took the treat without hesitation. Moving over to another side of the balloon, she made the vehicle float downwards towards the other racers. More specifically, towards Moonlight as leaned over and reached out towards him. "Thank you for all of your help, everypony! It would have been against the rules to go down and grab the Cupcake-inator possibly. However, seeing everyone all working together again has gotten me super duper motivated! I think a friendship making up party is on the horizons! Until that time comes, keep up the great work, everypony! You're almost there!" Pinkie grinned with glee from eat to ear just as the balloon took to the skies once more. Event Number 7 After running through mud and water, cold and darkness, you finally reach the leafiest part of the entire forest! This is your time to knock down leaves in peace, without anything to stop you. Posts and replies in this part are worth double points! Last obstacle on October 27th.

    "I'm right there with you, Starlight! My Pinkie sense was about to go off and I thought it was about to turn into a doozy." Pinkie says, feeling that sudden chill whenever a doozy was about to occur. Thankfully, it wasn't to be as the fun was set to continue. Just as Pinkie was about to take the cannon back from Moonlight, the pink party mare gasped in surprise as Moonlight was nearly tackled by Roswell, who caught up with the group! "Hold it right there, everypony! It looks like Roswell is joining in on the action and is trying to take the cupcake-inator! Not only that, but it looks like even Shiny is still involved! Jumping into the fray to block Roswell, while giving Moonlight time to escape! What an exhilarating portion of the race we've arrived at!" Pinkie grinned from ear to ear as she matched Starlight's level of enthusiasm in regards to commentating.

    "With incredible speed and agility, Moonlight is trudging his way through the bog, but what's this? Moonlight is slowing down due to having to pull his legs out with each step he takes!" Pinkie gasps, watching as the party cannon was being carried by any of the participants involved. "Oooooh~! That looked like it had to hurt with that mud ball! If only they had a way to make a mud pie with the cupcake-inator! Hmmm...I must make a mental note of that. Mud pies are always pretty tasty when baked to perfection!" Pinkie responded with a giggle just as Socrate dove from the balloon basket. "Socrate just took a dive bomb down into the fray and went to help Moushley and Moonlight! All the while, Shiny used magic to help protect Moonlight from the other racer's! Looks like teams are being decided in the middle of this incredible game of cupcake-inator keep away! Awww...now I want to join in on the fun! I've always heard monkey in the middle is a fun game to play." Even with a shield, it didn't stop Dusk Haven from trying to overcome the defensive shield to try and get that cannon. "How about that, folks! From keeping her hooves from getting stuck by using magic to skate across like an ice rink, to teleporting in the shield. Dusk Haven is showing that she's going to be strong competition for the cupcake-inator! Even Moonlight looks to be psyched and accepting of a worthy challenger!" Pinkie commentated just as the shield Shiny created had begun to dissipate.

    "You've got that right, Starlight! There's still plenty of racing left and it's coming down to the wire! Who will overtake the lead!? Who will win!? How many leaves will fall this Fall!? Nopony knows, but only time will tell!" Pinkie says, trying to add some suspense and dramatic effect to the commentary. "It also seems like @PrincessPriscillaPT Pricilla is debating on which way she should go. Nopony has chosen the bog yet, but now I wonder who will. I remember going through Froggy Bottom Bog once with Twilight and the others. Making sure that Fluttershy was safe after I learned a doozy was going to happen from my Pinkie Sense. I remember a bunch of us were getting slightly stuck in that bog. Thankfully, we didn't lose anything, but that would have added to the already huge doozy that had occurred with Twilight believing in my Pinkie Sense." She giggled, recalling the fun memory of them trying to escape the hydra. As Starlight kept watch of the action, Pinkie had been leaning against the corner of the balloon basket. Holding onto the Cupcake-inator Cannon, while inspecting it on how to fix the cannon. Looking over every angle possible, Pinkie blinked in surprise from a sudden gust of wind hitting their hot air balloon. Even though Starlight casted a magic spell to keep the balloon from being drenched in rain, it still didn't keep it safe from any of the winds. With the rocking of the basket back and forth, the Cupcake-inator suddenly fell out of Pinkie's grasp, before dropping down in the middle of the muddy bog below. "Noooooooooo! My Cupcake-inator Cannon! I was trying to get that working for more cupcake fun! Someone needs to try and get it back!" Pinkie exclaimed, her mane deflating slightly as she hoped her cannon would be kept safe. "Whoever gives it back to me gets bonus points!" She shouted as she prepared to bring the balloon closer to the ground. Obstacle Number 6.5 Bonus obstacle! Help Pinkie get her cupcake cannon back! The first runner who comments can grab the cannon. Afterwards, anyone can take the cannon from the previous participant by any means necessary! At a random time, Pinkie Pie will take her cannon from the participant who holds it. That one participant will get bonus points, so you always want to be the last poster in the thread. The less leaves you currently have - the higher the bonus will be!

    "Ooooooh~! Sounds like Moonlight will be able to light up the competition!" Pinkie giggled, gasping from the earlier situation, before grinning at the great idea the group had discussed. "Look at that, Starlight! Priscilla managed to catch up to the others, before the rope disappeared! Once everyone can catch up and escape the forest, then we can have a search and rescue party!" She clapped her forehooves together in preparation of a future party that was in store. As she was busy planning the party, her eyes turned towards Socrate, who dropped down to the forest. "Huh. I wonder what Socrate has in mind. Sounds like he wanted to tell everyone of the party?"

    "I'm knot sure if the rope will last or not, but hopefully Samurai does knot give up. They should be near the exit, but this forest looks like it's been going on endlessly and endlessly. I can't tell where the forest begins and where it ends." She blinked a few times as she couldn't make heads or tails of this particular part of the forest. Shaking her head vigorously, she looks back to Starlight as she giggled at the realization of her puns. "I know that might not be the best puns or the perfect time for a pun. However, one can use a pun to try and dissolve a potential bad situation. Puns are always so...punny!" Pinkie closed her eyes with a smile. Giggling at the number of puns she made, while remembering that she she was a pony who definitely loved puns. Opening up her eyes, she looked over at Moonlight, who Starlight had mentioned of the path he was heading towards. "You're right! The further and further he goes on, the more, and more, and more he meets many, many, many, and many more mushrooms!" She exclaimed, before taking note of Moonlight stopping in place. Pinkie used her binoculars to try and see what exactly Moonlight had stopped in front of. Only to take notice of a pony, who was wearing a mushroom cap on his head. "Whoa! I didn't expect to see another pony in this forest. With that mushroom cap, where's a plumber with a red cap when you need one." She winked to nobody in particular, but was surprised to see the pony had allowed Moonlight to pass. "Well would you take a look at that! Whoever this pony is, they're letting Moonlight to continue on ahead! He's even right underneath our balloon almost!" Pinkie grinned, waving at Moonlight as she was happy to see a familiar face back on the path.

    At the mention of saying her words again, Pinkie had happily obliged. "Oooooh~! In that case, ”Wowee @Starlight Glimmer! You heard that? The Cupcake-inator may be empty, but the excitement sure isn’t! Just when you think this race can’t get any more chaotic, BAM! @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny drops the good-bad news! That’s right this challenge will make the runner choose rather to go forward buuuut.. on the other hooves you can’t see anything!" She giggled, taking notice of Starlight, who had mentioned about the cupcake frosting on her cheek. Using her tongue to lick the spot of frosting away, she grinned as she hummed in delight of the tasty frosting treat. Seeing that Shiny was possibly down for the count, Pinkie closed her eyes as she shared the same worry as her fellow commentator. "It sounded as if Shiny had some advice she wanted to share. Something about Moonlight taking the lead, but I'm not entirely sure why. Unless this could help with the race, but I guess only time will tell!" As Samurai headed back for Shiny, Pinkie gasped, while her eyes grew to the size of dinner plates. "Hold the phone, fillies and gentlecolts! It looks like Samurai had gone back to make sure that Shiny was safe! Even picking her up and carrying her on his back, while the two make it back to the group! Just like in the superhero cartoons!" Pinkie exclaimed with glee, clapping her front hooves together as if she was watching the old masked hero show live. With Moushley and Socrates arriving in their hot air balloon, Pinkie smiled as she welcomed the duo aboard. "Well, hello there! Would our lovely couple like to stay with us and add into the commentary?"

    Pinkie leaned dramatically over the balloon basket, microphone in hoof, frosting smudged on her cheek. ”Wowee @Starlight Glimmer! You heard that? The Cupcake-inator may be empty, but the excitement sure isn’t! Just when you think this race can’t get any more chaotic, BAM! @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny drops the good-bad news! That’s right this challenge will make the runner choose rather to go forward buuuut.. on the other hooves you can’t see anything!” She squirted down at the dark forest below, eyes wide and sparkling. “But Shiny got some few fellow racers to join hooves like a big friend centipede! It’s like a scary movie and a trust exercise all in one! I’d totally sign up for that retreat, as long as they serve snacks!” ”Oh lookie here Starlight!! @Samurai Equine use the berries he has saved from the last challenge and got himself a rope! Look at him go, folks! The super stallion basically becomes a living GPS!” ‘Recalculating route-please grab the rope and proceed with caution.” She said, lowering her voice in an impression of a monotone navigation voice before bursting into giggles. @PrincessPriscillaPT “And Priscilla decided to join Samurai!!” Her gaze darted to another corner of the chaos. “Hi Mousehely! pinkie waved back to the little mouse below, nearly dropping her mic. Pinkie then turned her cannon around with pride, only for a hollow clink to echo inside. She peered in, frowning. “Oh. Right. No cupcakes. No frosting. No Sprinkle.” Pinkie turned to Starlight with a wink. “next time I will invent the super deluxe cupcake-inator over 9000!”

    Pinkie gasped into her mic, eyes darting between the forest below and the skies ahead like she was watching the biggest, tastiest game of the year. ”Oooh Starlight, would ya look at that! Mouseley’s back and squeaking up a storm! Awww, look at her, she’s sooo adorable! And wait, did she eat that entire hunk of cheese in one bite?! That’s gonna be a new record! She cheered, bouncing in the balloon basket. She aimed her microphone toward the forest, grinning ear to ear. ”And down there, @TheRockARockster Roswell’s literary on fire! Like whoa look at that Fire eyes, yeah!!” Pinkie hollered, mimicking his dramatic shout. “Ten outta Ten for enthusiasm and self breading! Though, maybe next time keep a bucket of frosting handy, just in things get too spicy!” Her gaze zipped over to another part of the course. “ @Dusk Haven, meanwhile, has gone mini-mode! Teeny-tiny Dusk darting through the vines-like zip!zap!whoosh! The smallest, bravest little blur in the forest! Ohhh I jut love an underdog moment or-uh…underpony? Under mouse? Either way she’s totally rocking it!” pinkie giggles and gave her cupcake cannon a loving pat. “And thanks to the Cupcake-inator 3000, everypony’s following the frosting highway back to the course safe and sound! Cupcakes, teamwork, transformation, cheesy happiness, this race has everything!” She leaned close to Starlight with a grin. “I tell ya Starlight, if this keeps up c we might just need a Cupcake-inator Deluxe! With double frosting capacity and marshmallow boosters!!” Suddenly, the cannon sputtered. A weak poof sent a single, sad cupcake tumbling out and landing on Pinkie’s hoof. “oh… heh. Scratch that, starlight, I think we’re officially outta cupcake.” She held up the empty barrel with a sheepish smile. ”well.. that the frosting finale, folks! Cupcake-inator’s outta armor, don’t worry the party spirit never runs out!” She said striking a dramatic pose as the mic squeaked with feedback. ”Back to you Starlight!”

    Pinkie gaze darted back and down to the runners, her mane bobbing as she spoke rapid-fire into the mic. “Indeed these transformed runners is more than meets the eyes!! Moonlight’s all splashy and sloshy like a walking paddle! Samurai’s gone full slice-and-dice mode! It does bring back some great memories about five colorful masked fighters that we used to watch as a kid am I right Starlight?!” “Indeed! That boomerang’s slicing through those vines faster than me through a sweet buffet! Dusk’s helping everypony regroup, like a magical rescue squad with snacks and cupcakes!” Then Pinkie spotted @Iridescent Edge and her jaw dropped just as Starlight pointed at him. “Iridescent’s new super-sparkly mega horn does look amazing! Buuuuut- ooof, look like It’s a teensy bit too heavy! Poor guy’s trying to lift his head like he’s doing neck-day at the gym!” She said, wincing comically and miming lift with her forehooves. She leaned closer to Starlight. ”Maybe I should shoot him a cupcake for motivation! You know carb power! Build strength!”

    Pinkie puffed out the clouds of smoke and rested the cannon on her shoulders. “turbo drive and it makes cupcakes, you name it!!” She beamed at Starlight, pride practically glowing from her grin over her latest invention. “Looks like the ponies are facing a brand new challenge, ohh lookie lookie here Starlight!” Pinkie’s eyes darted towards @Nitobit Moonlight. “turning into water? Now that’s a splashy advantage! Talk about going with the flow!” Then she spun towards @Samurai Equine “But let’s hope the water doesn’t get too close to Samurai, or those the firey hooves might boil it all away! Samurai decides to save his changling berries, what do think he will turn into Starlight?” Pinkie suddenly gasped spotting @PrincessPriscillaPT munching on the berries. Her eyes grew wider with dramatic anticipation. “Priscilla has already took a bite of the berries! Let’s see what the berries has to offer her!” Finally Pinkie turned her attention to @Dusk Haven with wide grin stretching across her face “Dusk is making her way to the next obstacle, and by the look of her face the cupcake was huge success!” She elbowed starlight proudly, practically bouncing. “See? I knew my cupcakes would be huge hit!”

    “Why yes indeed, Starlight! Behold the one and only, the totally best thing ever-Cupcake-inator 3000!” She announced like a salemare, her voice booming through the mic. “Guaranteed to fire the frosted goodness at high speeds, create a scrumptious breadcrumbs, I mean, cupcake trails, AND keeps our runners fueled for maximum pooooower!!!” She gave the cannons a proud pat before aiming it at the foggy forest. One cupcake after another, BOOM! BOOM! A frosted trail formed, turning the scary path more like a candy land lane! “Step right up folks! Don’t be shy follow the cupcake highway back to the race course!” Pinkie leaned closer to the mic whispering like a conspirator to Starlight. “Starlight, it even has a sprinkle launcher attachment!” Pinkie let out a small giggles, before popping back upright, voice loud and bouncy again. ”Cupcakes and directions! Two for one special everypony! Only from your friendly neighborhood, Pinkie and Starlight!”

    Pinkie tilted her head, finally seeing what starlight meant. She noticed how Dusk’s group was trotting ahead, while some ponies lagged behind. For a moment, she tapped her chin in thought. Then her face lit up with a big, bright smile. With a dramatic fwip, pinkie pie pulled a cupcake cannon straight out of her mane! ”oooh, I’ve got just the thing to bring everypony back together!” She grabbed her mic as she makes an important announcement. ”Alright everypony!!!” She hollered, before blasting a colorful trail of cupcakes through the trees. ”Follow the cupcakes, runners! And don’t forget to grab a snack along the way!” Pinkie cheered, giggling as her sweet trail guides everyone closer together through the spooky forest!

    Pinkie’s tail twitched like crazy when Starlight mentioned Discord. Her jaw practically dropped as all the pieces clicked together- the wild uncontrollable weather and that tricky draconequus! ”Discord’s behind this shenanigans?! Ooooh that totally makes a whole lotta sense Starlight!!” She beamed, her voice bouncing with excitement. Oops! Pinkie quickly clamped her hooves over her mouth hoping the participates didn’t hear her outburst. She knew just how much Discord loves causing trouble and chaos. And while Pinkie usually loved making the race fun and zippy, this weather? That’s a whole different kind of challenge, definitely not fun. “If you’re right Starlight, I hope Discord have a good reason for it.” Pinkie said, puffing out her cheeks in an exaggerated pout. ”On the bright side, the runners are totally allowed to use their magic, not to help themselves around the super tough forest but to lead a hoof to the ones without magic! And that’s really something! And hey, speaking from an earth pony’s perspective—you’ve gotta give credit to the ones without magic for all their hard work too! Like Moonlight here—he really gave it his all trying to get that fire started! The sparks twins? Oh-ho, their hot chocolate hospitality is keeping everyone warm and happy! @Iridescent Edge finally got his strength back from Shiny Slivermoon’s medicine! And don’t forget , Dusk Haven using her magic to guide the group safely this terrifying forest!”

    Pinkie Pie’s bouncy grin slowly melted into a thoughtful, curious look, as her ear twitched. “My Pinkie sense is going banana right now,” she whispered, lowering her voice with a small frown. “And I really really hope it’s not something we have to be super-duper worry about … I mean, the rain already crashed our parade! But I think you’re definitely onto something… something’s fishy… the weather’s has been acting a whole lot more doozy-woozy- than usual.. mmmmm. What do you have in mind Starlight?” Pinkie knows they have to set their worries aside for now, as she redirected her attention back to the current situation. Her smile return immediately as she has a lot of different scenarios already playing in her mind. ”ooooh don’t get me started Starlight! I got gazillion ideas about what we might see in the next stage- like” Pinkie’s ears perked up at Sliverspark’s mention. ”HOT CHOCOLATE?!” Her voice squealed, nearly bouncing out of the air balloon. “Yes yes yes! Chocolate is totally the number bestest way to warm up and get all snuggly-cozy with your pals! Don’t you agree Starlight??!! Pinkie was so busy bouncing around with fun ideas about how the runners could warm themselves up, she almost ignored the twitchy little feeling nagging at her Pinkie Sense. Still, she pushed it aside and kept her focus on commentating the race with Starlight.

    Pinkie Pie’s heart beating with excitement and anticipation as the race continues on. She made a jump after a few lighting strikes and roaring thunders, however the wide smile has not left her face! “Oooooh everypony! The runners are getting super-duper close to the 3rd obstacle and my pinkie’s sense is tingling! Eee!!” Pinkie pie squealed with a happy squee. “What’s gonna happen next? Will Shiny and Iridescent find that sneaky bat pet soon? Will Dusk Haven dash all a way to the finish line? Or will Samurai will have enough oomph to catch up?! And kooky-look! Priscilla’s right on his tail! The Sparks twins are zippity zapping their way through the leafy path, Roswell’s closing in, Titanium and Moonlight still recovering from the 2nd obstacle will they make it back into the race in time?! Don’t go anywhere, ponies! stay behind your screen and Staaaay tune!”

    Pinkie wave back to Velvet before turning her attention back to Starlight. “It almost makes me want to go and join the race myself, Starlight!” She let out a gleeful giggles trying to contain her own excitement. “Seeing these runners’ enthusiasm and energy is definitely what’s “Running of the leaves” is all about!” @Samurai Equine “Number 44 and @PrincessPriscillaPT—the Princess gave a little lift upstream, helping a fellow bat pony to safety! What an amazing sight! But uh-oh… water is Samurai’s greatest weakness. Let’s hope he’s still got the strength to push forward. Either way, that’s quite the sacrifice!” Pinkie continues to look down with her binoculars as she notices @liujiadong who seems to be in a deep thoughts. ”Number 11, Sunshine seems to be in a trance of some sort Starlight, you don’t think she’s thinking about pumpkin spice?” Pinkie noticed Number 93 @Iridescent Edge, has also tripped but that smile excitedly when that didn’t stop him from getting to the other side of the river bank. ”you got that right Starlight! I’ve got a feeling that we’re gonna see a lot of grits and sweats from these runners, but I don’t think now’s the best time to turn it into a spa mud bath, huh?” Pinkie let out a giggle of her own jest. “I’d say, Starlight—the Sparks twins are pretty clever, huh? Coming up with a sled to get themselves across the riverbank, and lucky for them, Dusk jumped in to help! Don’t you just love seeing this kind of teamwork in a race?
