  1. I don't think it was a significant enough series to be considered a defining pat of the decade - Game of Thrones and others would be. It was however a defining part of my 2010s.
  2. As with everybody else I'm not a big fan of the student six, but Gallus is probably my favourite. I like his moody persona.
  3. Definately Spitfire. That mane/tail colour and the domineering persona really appeal to me.
  4. I love I'm on a Yacht, but my favourite is True Original from the Sunset's Backstage Pass special.
  5. Funnily enough I've often thought about this. I came to the show relatively late (season 5 was almost over when I started watching the episodes in order from season one onwards) and I've often felt that I missed out on a lot. I've spent the last few years catching up on the fan-made stuff: artwork, episode reviews, reaction videos and show discussions on Youtube and, especially, the brony-made music, which has been a real revelation to me and the fan-related thing that I like best about this show. I've occasionally wondered what it would have been like if I'd become a fan in the first season and experienced the fan phenomena of the time and sometimes I get a tinge of regret that I wasn't here then. They seem like they were interesting times and that I missed out. But really the show is bigger than the fandom, and ultimately I'm glad I got into it when I did and got to watch those first five seasons and the first three Equestria Girls movies at my own pace.
  6. It interests me. It appears to be some unicorn pony but I don't recognise it. Is it an OC?
  7. I didn't used to have any interest in it (or any knowledge of it), but I've developed a soft spot for dubstep over the last few years due to it being regularly used in fan-made pony songs. Another way in which MLP has had a positive impact on my life.
  8. This was really good. Seven minute shorts work so much better than the 2 to 3 minutes that we got in the web series.
  9. And I forgot to give mention to the funniest part of this special - Pinkie acting crazy with her self-made Sunset Shimmer doll. A fantastic moment.
  10. I just gave this a second watch after watching it the first time nearly four months ago. It's fantastic. I liked it even better this second time - it's my favourite of any of the Equestria Girls movies and specials.
  11. I am happy to say that I have now achieved the kirin rank.
  12. Welcome to the forum Graceful Stiles. It's always nice to meet people who love the show as much as I do.
  13. No, it's up to the writers to tell the story - not for us to write it ourselves.
  14. Yes, the show has been worth a portion of my life - and it will continue to be a big part of my life. Even though it's ending I'll continue to be a fan. In fact I'm going to rewatch every episode (including the movie, specials and shorts) in the gap between generations 4 and 5. As well as the whole of Equestria Girls. And I liked the show's ending. It ended in exactly the right way and left me feeling even more positive about the whole thing.
  15. Season one for me. I have a spreadsheet with all my episode ratings on it along with the average number for each season and season one is the lowest by quite a distance. It's still a good season but it's apparent that the show was just finding its feet.
  16. A good episode I thought and the right way to end the Daring Do story.
  17. Already seen it. It's great. But then I'm always going to love an episode featuring Starlight and Trixie.
  18. Pinkie Pie is the iconic generation 4 character in my opinion. She was the only pony I was aware of before I was a fan due to her use in internet memes. And I doubt there will be any pony as memorable as her in the next generation.
  19. That's a really good drawing. Rarity has never been cuter.
  20. 479528 And now I'll add a few random words because I'm being told that 20 is the minimum number of characters.
