Ugh #1 I never heard this "joke" but nope yeah I hate this. I like her honestly, she's not that bad. Now I decided whom I liked before I watched the show, but still her family tree gets more depth than almost any other. And WHY??? should she be treated this way, she was in gen 1!! This was definitely not funny, and how would all Applejack episodes be hallucinations for the most part if you really wanna say who's episodes are hallucinations I was say Pinkie Pie's even though she's one of my favorites.

How will it prevent people from having their own headcanon's or any of that stuff? As long as people are able to imagine those things will exist. There's nothing G5 can do to prevent people from doing any of that. I just think that there will be less room for flexibility for headcanons, etc. I mean, I think most stuff will be set in stone.

Have you ever come up with parents for young canon MLP characters that we dont see parents for? Examples of this are, Luster Dawn. Thats about it for me, at least all ive seen. But im curious have you ever just headcanoned some parents for an MLP character? I would love to hear your thoughts & any reasons!!

I'd like to add to this, im not sure g5 is going to be as good. The thing is, the story may be great, the characters & art may be great. But I think the thing about g4 that made it special that g5 just wont have is, the ability to add your own headcanons, AUs, characters, next-gen, & anything like that AND it was flexible. It felt like you were really adding to the story, even if it was just a ship. It was so flexible with the characters and I think g5 may take that away.

Hey, so I created a mlp "universe" where the MLP gen 1 & 2 are the parents or grandparents of gen 4. I want some help with ideas, so far i've got some but none are what I want. Now I know this isnt canon, but im just creating my own AU, gen//verse. :3 So what I have so far: Applejack (gen 1) Applejack has Granny Smith with an unknown stallion, when she was younger. Granny Smith, adopts Applejack’s other daughter almost like a son. Though to be honest, Granny Smith & Bright Mac are brother and sister. Big Mac met Pear Butter & fell in love. Surprise (gen 1) Surprise births a new foal, Baby Suprise. Baby Suprise grows up & marries Igneous Pie. Baby Suprise, now known as Small Suprise is upset when she cant have a foal. She adopts a new foal, whom she names Pinkie Pie. Twilight (gen 1) Twilight birthed a dark gray misty pony, whom she passed the family name down to, Twilight Velvet. Not long after that Twilight Velvet met someone, & had Twilight Sparkle. Essentially not to confuse the family, everyone gets called by their last name. Sparkle, Velvet, etc. They are also the longest living line of Pure Unicorns. Posey (gen 1) Posey, after many years moves into a beautiful garden house. And surrounds herself with flowers. She births a small shy, runt like, Fluttershy. Sparkler (gen 1) Sparkler found herself with Majesty, one of the best ponies. They began their relationship & were happily married. Using a spell, Sparkler made herself pregnant with a foal. Rarity was born, and she was exactly like her mother. Moondancer (gen 1) Moondancer is a mischievous trouble maker, she has a small rivalry with Cotton Candy. She birthed Dancing Grace, then later on Amry & Dancing Grace birthed Moon Dancer later on. Cotton Candy (gen 1) Cotton Candy is not exactly friends with Moondancer, she is great at healing & adopts multiple foals. Bubbles (gen 1) Bubbles loves rolling in mud, it cools her back and makes her feel good. She almost feels like mud is a spa & tries to get Sparkler to join in. Bubbles was adopted as a foal by Lemon Drop. Bon Bon (gen 1) Bon Bon enjoy’s baking, eating, dancing & can get motion sick. She is more of a chubby pony and wants to be a fashion model. She has a diary, & has a foal, whom she names Sweetie Drops Bon Bon. Bow Tie (gen 1) Bow Tie loved ribbons & bows and decorating, she was known as Sparkler’s best friend. She soon had Lyra Heartstrings. Heart Throb (gen 1) Heart Throb is most always love sick, and as seen in gen4 in the spell story, Heart Throb creates a love potion and gives it to her true love. She and Lickity Split are sisters. Lickity Split (gen 1) Lickity Split loves making cakes & icecreams. She soon had Frosted Cake, otherwise known as Mrs. Cake. Firefly (gen 1) Firefly finds herself in a relationship with Gusty & births a healthy foal soon after. She loves chasing the clouds and names her foal, Rainbow (gen 3). She births another foal soon after, (continued) Windy Whistles (gen 4). With the help of Gusty to name her. Rainbow (gen 3), finds herself young & pregnant. Desperate, she asks her sister Windy Whistles to adopt her foal. Windy Whistles, although younger, agree because her sister does not have all the qualities of a mother. Windy Whistles names the foal after her older sister, Rainbow. She decides on the name, Rainbow Dash.
