Iridescent Edge

*Iridescent Edge arrives at the location of the event. He’s not wearing any gear as that would just slow him down. As he looks around, he notices how serious the other racers look and starts to feel a pang of nervousness rise up in his chest. Iridescent glances back and forth at the other contestants until his eyes wonder to the sky. Iri notices the dark nimbostratus clouds overhead and quirks his head to the side. Aren’t races supposed to be cancelled when it rains? One of Iridescent’s hooves drags across the ground as he ponders this. He stands there for a couple more seconds before he notices the host of the race sitting at a stand and handing out numbers for the participants. Iridescent Edge adjusts his mane for maximum first impression potential before walking up to the table.* ”Ahem…Hi. My name’s Iridescent Edge. Um, I’m here for my number.” *Iridescent speaks while resting a hoof on the table and putting on a friendly, non threatening face. Though, his eyebrows are subtly tilted outwards.*
