      Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with PMing a moderator. In my experience, I would just not talk to them unless they talk to you first. A handful I have spoken to seem like the type that just don't want anything to do with anybody and treat their forum position like it's a job they dislike doing and have little patience for anything. With that being said, I would just stick to talking to regular members you are friends with more than moderators.
