I thought about asking the MLP Forums Proofreading Group with reviewing a piece of nonfiction, but then I decided not to. Not what they want, most probably.

Looking back at all of the times that people offered to help me with something but ended up disappearing when I needed them most... Lovely.

Have you ever had absolutely no confidence in something you want to do but plenty of confidence in something that you already do that you find boring?

Writing has actually improved my Inkscape abilities. How? By giving me something to turn away from out of frustration.

I thought about wanting to start writing fiction again, but I just can't. I have no time to think anything through.

Right now, I feel like I just want to talk to someone, but instead, how about I spare you the effort and keep it to myself?

I wish I was able to find someone to write with me when I still had the chance...

Where would be the best place to even think about wanting to ask for a writing partner?

Is it ever a good idea to force yourself to continue something you know you'll never complete?

At what point does one quit at something they already know they're incapable of achieving?

Several weeks ago, I made the painful decision of retiring from pony-fiction writing despite having every desire to write and no previous success whatsoever. Retiring from writing is the best decision I ever made.

People say they would help you out, but then they drop out at the last minute. Story of my life.
