  1. Got laid off hours. Already could barely afford food and rent. Dunno what I can do anymore.

So they laid you off, or cut your hours? Is there nothing else available in the same industry you are in? Even if places say they are looking for college, still keep tossing out resumes, since you never know when you could get lucky with something entry level. Many places "say" they want something, but depending upon demand are open to someone with the will to work. Also, if bills are tight, look into finding someone in a similar situation and rooming together to lighten the load.

They immensely cut my hours. I went from about 50 to 20 a week, and they're wacky hours. So if I got another job, I'd have to fully quit the one I'm at now. I insert advertisers into the newspapers all day, and rarely go deliver papers to the post office. The main problem is also lack of places to work. Within 30 miles, is only 13 places to work. I can't move since I don't have the money to. I'm already back living in my parents house. Though I'm always looking for something regardless, even in the newspaper I work on I look through job openings. I've just been unlucky.

Holy crap. You must really live in a small town. I have more places than that to work down the street from my house. There are no food places or retailers in the area? Usually many of them have heavy turnover and regular openings. If nothing else, you could always look into supplementing income with yard work and such if push comes to shove... perhaps there are neighbors and such that could use work done by someone? Either way, good luck.
