After almost 6 years, today was officially my last day as a grad student! I passed my defense in March, made additions to and turned in my dissertation, and finally finished everything up. Now I just need to find a job... (I'll mention @Truffles in case he's interested in seeing this.)

That's wonderful news! Thanks for putting the mention in, I would have missed it for a while if you hadn't.
I was wondering during the last few episode reviews how the dissertation was coming along; the last few of them were quite extensive (even though you didn't think the last one was) and remembered you telling us you had to balance your time between this site and finishing with school.
At least you have lots of time now to review the next two episodes.

@Truffles, I had actually finished adding the 300+ pages to my dissertation about a month ago. Since then, I've mainly been filling out forms, collecting signatures, moving data onto storage, and getting a bunch of doctor's appointments before my student insurance runs out. So I haven't been quite as busy the past few weeks, which I suppose gave me more time to write wall-of-text posts here, haha.
